Kawe splashed noisily in the stream, a childish grin adorning his face. His fur stuck out in odd directions, encrusted with mud from the riverbed. He might not have been a kit any more, but he was still as childish as ever. He was as unlike his twin as possible, even though they shared the same name, and similair coloring. Except you know, the fact that he was bright white. Sometimes Kawe thought their coats had been the wrong way round. He was the naughty one, the outgoing one, the one who tracked mud through the house..

And Kawe. Big Brother Kawe was so quiet and polite. He worried about him sometimes. He stopped splashing, a sad expression approaching his face. he just wished...Heh. As if. Never mind. He stood their, fur dirty and wet, a sad expression on his face, until a fish bumped into his legs and sent him tumbling into the water, in which he laughed heartily.

AS the fuzzball of pink fluff came flying towards him, Kawe yelped, then giggled as he splashed into the water. Wiping tears of his laughter from his eyes, he answered. "I'm Kawe! Or little Kawe if my big brother's around. Yupyup!" He tilted his head to the side slightly, and grinned, showing slightly more pointy than normal even for a Kit teeth. Both Kawe's were strong Kit's, very protective of their homes. Especially each other. As much as Older Kawe wouldn't admit it, they loved each other to bits.

"That would be awwweeesooome! But, um, I don't know how to play Marco Polo..Heh. So tag it is, kay? Unless you want to teach me?" He dipped his head into the water, washing off the mud, but when he reemerged, he looked a little like a drowned rat, fur sticking to his skeleton structure, and showign clearly defined muscles on his forelegs and legs.




[Seriously, what's Marco Polo?]

Kawe grinned. He was a darn good swimmer. Big brother had taught him, along with alot of other things, and although progressing from frantic splashing to fluent swimming wasn't easy, it was now a transition that had taken space along time ago. Jackknifing through the water, Kawe quickly began to gain on the other kit who was bogged down by his fluffy, and oh-so-cute fur. Wait, what? Did I just think that? Now determined to get that thought out of his head by catching the other kit, he increased his pace, the slight burn in his muscles outdone by his desire to catch the other.

[Oh... Okay. :]]

As Candel smashed into the rock, Kawe gasped, increasing his speed. As the other went underwater, he dived, grabbing the other just as he surfaced, and dragging him to the riverbank.

"Are you okay, please be okay, I don't want you to get hurt!" As the other dribbled water, he gently pressed and rubbed his chest to help expel the water that was no doubt still there.

"Uhuh! You have a bump! You gotta sit down and make sure you don't have con-con-cu-cusssion!" He struggled with the word, but got it out eventually. The kit wasn't all that clumsy himself, though with his personality, many expected him to be. No, overall he was quite graceful on his paws, though not when he got flustered. Like now, for example.

"Naw, it's fine. As long as you rest for a bit, I'll talk all you want! Which means you'll probly tell me to shut up long before I stop talking. Big Brother says I talk too much and it's really rude."
He sat down too, tucking his forelegs beneath himself and wrapping his tail round himself.
"Family? Well there's me n' Kawe, we're twins, but we're like polar opposites, and he's older than me. He's got similiar colouration to me, 'cept where I'm white, he's black. I think our colouration shoulda been swapped, cause I'm the naughty one, and he's always so perfect." Kawe gave a sad smile. "But he's always so...distant..It scares me, y'know? It makes me think he's going somewhere, like he's about to leave.." He trailed off, biting his bottom lip.

"But anyway! You want to listen to something cheery, right? Not me babbling on about worries!"

Kawe nodded as the other spoke, then grinned. "Okay no worrying!" As the other spoke the last sentence, he shook his head. "You're as bad as me! And anyway, is your head feeling better now? Perhaps we could play something a bit more tame..like, um, hide n' seek? But I'm not very good, I warn you now."
That little liar! Kawe might have had a hard coat to hide, and it was true he wasn't good at the hiding aspect, but he was good at seeking for sure.
