I'm sure most of you already know this, but in order to safeguard your own original art/avi edits/blinkies/whathaveyou yousa gonna have to watermark it. Basically, what you want to do is on your sample you want to have something on there pretty big that will be impossible to remove without ruining the picture itself. Like writing the word "Sample" or "Watermark" across the image.

Also, when conducting the transaction, it is a good idea to use the following format:

-You take the request and make the request
-You PM a watermarked version of the request to the recipiant to get their approval
-Once, they give the approval, get the gold for the item
-Once you have payment for the item, send them another PM with the item minus the watermark

This way, you are almost 100% guarenteed to get paid for your hard work!

... but... what if they are happy enough with the pic that has been watermarked? I mean, what if they are okay with it saying SAMPLE smack dabb across the page?
