Qahora jumped out into the sun. He paws hitting softly on the hot stone of the hills. She looked around for small lizards, birds settling down for a little rest, a little snack yes? She was not very concentrated though, just going at it just incase. She looked off the edge of the hills. She was not very high up. She could just above the smaller trees.

Azami bounced to and fro as she ran along gleefully, happy as always she was grinning like a fool as she went. Today was happy and perfect, tomorrow would be happy and perfect. She hummed a little as she went it was sunny and beautiful and nothing could go wrong! Of course things could only get better as the day went on, the day had no other choice then to fill her with happiness. She had found a small squirrel easily and had it for breakfast and so she was full and happy as she sprang forward taking great leaps across the warm stones. What a wonderful world she lived in!

Qahora stopped skipping on the edge of the hill and sat down on a big warm boulder. She loved the warmth coming from the earth. She sniffed at the air hoping maybe she would pick up the smell of that snack she desired. As she sat there she heard a joyful skip from somewhere near. She smiled and looked up. It was probably another dragonfly, a friend most likely.

Azami giggled, "What a wonderful day!" she shouted before bursting into laughter which made her sides shake but she froze when she saw another dragonfly. Blinking slowly her laughter subsided to be replaced by a grin, "hello!" she called bouncing towards the female, yes this day was going to be better then usual since she hadn't come across a male. Males were filthy and foul and she harbored an intense dislike of them.

Qahora jumped up when she saw the other female. She was such a spectacular pink that intrigued her. Qahora walked a little closer and replied, "Hello." What excitement the other dragonfly was in and she shared it just as well with Qahora. "I'm Qahora! I don't often meet dragonflies up here..." She said in a not so serious tone.

Azami's tail bobbed back and forth as she stood there, "nice to meet you Qahora," she giggled and grinned, it wasn't often she met someone just as happy as her, in fact she found most people thought her rather annoying. Seems her happiness occasionally depressed others but that didn't matter to her. "I don't meet many dragonflies often either but that doesn't bother me," she said with a shrug and leapt forward towards the other debating whether or not to start a game of tag or tackle her.

Qahora smiled. She leaned her head to the side in curiosity, "Well I am not bothered by it either, but isn't there nothing better than new dragonflies to meet?" Qahora loved the thought of making new acquaintences and friends. She wondered what Azami was leaping about for? It made Qahora giggle. She surely hoped the other dragonfly wanted to stay for a while and was not in a hurry somewhere.

Azami nodded, "It is better to have friends," she sang gleefully, "otherwise being alone can get pretty boring and boring is terrible!" That she believed to be true because she absolutely hated boredom and other people always provided new outlooks and ideas, except for those pesky males. Azami watched her for a moment, tag seemed best for the surface they were on, she didn't want Qahora to get hurt on the stone if she tackled her. The female darted over to Qahora's side and tapped her with her tail, "Tag your it!" she laughed before dashing a few feet away and stopping to look back at her with a wide grin.

Qahora was amazed. She had never ever heard another dragonfly speak of her own values the same way. Qahora absolutely loathed boredom. She went to open her mouth in contempt when Azami tagged her. Caught off guard Qahora didn't know quite what to do. She shook her head and finally realized what was going on, "Oh really?" She said, grinning playfully. She instantly started darting at Azami, "Haha!"

Azami grinned laughing as she burst into a run, "your not gonna catch me!" she called over sticking her tongue out. She leapt forward every few steps as her paws padded against the hot stones loving the feeling of the run. This female was a lot more fun then the others she had met and she was going to enjoy it to the fullest. She sprinted forward trying not to be caught, but wasn't getting tagged and becoming it just as fun? She nodded to herself and smiled half hoping Qahora would catch her so she would have the chance to be it.

Qahora burst into a energetic laughter. Running like this with another dragonfly was very pleasent. She bolted even quicker as Azami gained a little bit of distance. She didn't look around and kept her eyes locked on the other running female. Qahora had managed to get just behind Azami and kept on running, approaching slowly, slwoly but surely.

Azami grinned and looked over her shoulder and her eyes widened seeing how near the other dragonfly was, "uh oh!" she laughed trying to keep a steady pace. Qahora was fast, she had never met another female who wanted to play tag let alone was able to get this close to catching her, which meant time to make the game a little bit harder. Azami grinned as she started to zigzag across the stones her ears flattened against her head a determined look on her face.

Qahora was determined to catch this unpredictable Azami. She realized she could never catch her if she did not go faster or plan something out. As Azami started to zig zag, Qahora slowed her pace slightly, just enough so she could look around. Grinning she spotted a seemingly good idea. She gaine up spped again and ran up an elevation in the hill while Azami kept running on the lower plateau. Qahora ran as fast she could and then jumped off the edge landing right in front of Azami. "Hello." She said, dryly, with a big portion of acting. She panted quickly, getting ready to run and catch the dragonfly now facing her.

Azami's eyes widened as Qahora appeared before her and she skidded to a halt so as not to crash into her, "whoa," she said out of breath looking terribly surprised and in awe. "You were behind me... and now your ..." she was at a lose for words and just simply looked at her amazed. Her tail bobbed back and forth before she snapped back to reality, they were playing tag after all! The female's eyes darted about looking for a way to avoid being tagged but the only place she could go was back and that would take too long, perhaps a distraction would work, "look over there!" she gasped staring off to the side.

Qahora took a step forward as the other dragonfly looked at her in awe. Still wearing her smirk she savoured in the idea of cathing Azami and making her tag. Qahora really wanted to look at what Azami called at but she could not let her get away. With one leap she caught Azami and held her to the ground and then she looked in the direction she had told her to look... "I don't see anything my dear friend? In any case... you're it!" Qahora jumped off and ran in the direction where they came from.
