Entertainment Room Located behind the exercise room/spa and to the side of the meeting room, the entertainment room is where Hunters go to have a little fun while inside Haven. There is a pool table, a large table with several chairs around it, a card table, and a ping-pong table at one end of the room. There's a thirty inch widescreen plasma tv with digital cable and surround sound, a PS2, a Gamecube, an X-box, a VCR, a DVD player, a large couch, two loveseats, several beanbag chairs, and three recliners at the other end of the room. In the corner nearest the door there is a mini-fridge filled with drinks and a CD music system with stereos next to it, in the corner across from it is a potted bonsai tree, in the far corner is a miniature Zen rock garden, and in the last corner is a small fountain. Along the wall on one side of the room is a dart board, several shelves with videotapes and boardgames on them, and cabinets filled with DVDs, CDs, videogames, cards, poker chips, and other games in them.
Computer Room This is the room where all of the Hunters' computers are located. All along the sides of the room are long tables with chairs and several dozen quality PC computers with high-speed broadband internet connections. They're all also connected to several scanners and printers set up on a round table towards the center of the room. The computers are used for research, writing, going on the internet, e-mail, and gaming. The computers are available to all the Hunters to use however they see fit.
Library Next to the computer room is the library. This is where Hunters can either do research about supernatural creatures or read for their own enjoyment. One wall is filled with shelves of fiction books including books like Dracula and other somewhat useful stories, one wall is filled with shelves of non-fiction books, and another wall is filled with shelves of resource and research books including ancient tomes on supernatural creatures and spell books. Next to the doorway are a few small shelves and racks for graphic novels, magazines, newspapers, and comic books. In the middle of the room is a round table with several chairs around it, a few lounge chairs with ottomans, and a couple of potted plants. Anyone who wishes to may borrow books or other materials from the library and return them at their convienence.

Kaji was sitting in a bean bag chair in front of a TV with the game Time Crisis 3 on. It helped him with his reaction time and aiming. He was already faster then the game, but it was fun just to play it. He paused the game and said outloud to himself, "I wonder if we have any Japenese games."

Akame walks into the entertainmant room, sipping something pink from a transparrent plastic cup though a straw. Her choice of clothes for today is a green tank top with a pair of desert tan combat fatigues. She walks right over tot eh CD player and puts in her CD. Genki J-Pop starts soon afterwards, and she drags a beanbag over, which she sits on, happy listening to the music, bobbing her head from side to side as she listens.

Kaji looked over at where the music was coming from and pretended he wasn't annoyed by it. As he searched he found Naruto 3 and a free loader disc, "Yes finally," he said as he started it up on the gamecube and started to play it smiling proudly.

Another song comes on, and Akame hastily puts her drink down, and stands up to start dancing. This one she sengs along to as she dances.

Akame comes back in, looking a little harried. She grins when she sees that the playstation is now unused, and wanders over. She unplugs the player 1 pad, and plugs in a dance mat. She puts DDR into the console, chooses a dificulty when prompted, and starts playing, stamping on the directions on the dance mat in time with the music.

It was one o'clock on a beautifully sunny Saturday afternoon, and yet Aria found herself dutifully dragging her backpack down Haven's windowless halls, as she'd promised to herself last night. It'd been a week since she'd arrived in New York, and it was probably past time for her to be making an effort at aquaintances...which was difficult, at best, when she holed herself up in her little apartment, far from the rest of the world.
At least this place as good lighting... she thought unconsolingly to herself, entering the library and computer room. Since the room was empty, she unslung her pack and let it drop onto the nearest table with as loud a thump! as she liked, then sighed and started digging around in its chaotic depths, pulling out a laptop, a memory stick, and a thick and forbidding-looking textbook. Carrying all three things over to the nearest armchair, she sat cross-legged on its wide cushion, balanced the book on the arm of the chair, and set the laptop on her legs.
Aria'd had to kick her boots off --sturdy black ones, and not the chunky, decorative, gothic kind-- to sit in the chair, and now they listed to one side on the floor in front of her. Her black vest had been dumped with her backpack, leaving her with only a black, boatneck shirt made of some clingy material with a modest neckline; a fine silver chain glittered on the pale skin of her neck, disappearing under her shirt just in time to hide the pendant. However, she managed to pull off an air of subtle elegance despite her jeans and boots; she was thin and delicately-boned, her smooth hair braided and pinned into a circle on the back of her head. It was of a light brown color, though with a curious smokey sheen, and appeared to be quite long from her hairstyle. Her nose saved her from any kind of classic beauty, as it was quite snub --almost flat. But when you combined it with her rather rounded face and large, slanted eyes, it gave her features a slightly Asian cast, though her coloring was entirely European.

Krii'Ouse put his cigarette out in the storage room, also known as the entrance room to Haven. He slid down the ladder, and waited for Liora. When she arrived, he lead down the halls to the entertainment room, after stopping in his room, which he didn't let her into on purpose, retrieving his movie, and leading on to the entertainment room.
he slid the DVD into the player, and powered up the TV. He plopped down onto the couch, hoping the woman didn't ask him about his sercrecy about his room. It was more of a mess than usual.
'I love this movie, and the second gave me mind-gasms.' he said, using his very strange suffix as he always did. His life may have been in shambles, but he was going to enjoy himself damnit!

Liora grinned at both his strange suffix and Krii'Ouse's abrupt change for the better in the mood-department. She set her carrying case off to the side, leaning it carefully against the wall in plain sight. If she were to neglect her items again, Liora would be very angry with herself. Ricardo had been nice enough to look after her things the first time. The second time, someone might decide to relieve her of her personal effects for good. Liora discarded her extinguished cig into a trash can before plopping down on the couch opposite Krii'Ouse.
"It is a great movie." she agreed, nodding her approval.
Her mind shifted back to the discovery she'd made earlier. Though it was a perfectly logical concept, Liora had not anticipated for there to be rooms within the actual complex of the Haven. The idea of having a room here was worth entertaining. Her current apartment was designed for two people, and Liora had long since closed off a few of the rooms out of spite and grief. Perhaps it was time to move out, to let go of the past, but Liora wasn't sure how to go about acquiring a room at the Haven. For all she knew, it could be a leaders only affair.
She was so distracted by this 'discovery' of hers that she failed to notice how secretive Krii'Ouse had been about his room. Such blatant ignorance was probably for the better, given Krii'Ouse's rough day.

Krii'Ouse smiled, and pushed the play button. He leaned back as the movie started. 'Do you dislike speaking through movies, I know a few people who would throw boots at you if you speak during the movie.' he said plainly, as the movie began slowly. He was glad she hadn't asked about his room.
He sensed she wanted to get a room here as well. As far as he knew, he didn't have that power, but he assumed William wouldn't mind if he did. Krii'Ouse was pretty sure there were a few empty rooms in Haven. He'd ask later.

Liora shook her head and projected her indifference into the air with a hand. Before she spoke, Liora crossed her legs and shifted into a more comfortable position on the couch.
"If it's a movie I've seen before, I do not mind talking at all." she replied.
Her golden eyes were rivetted on the screen, but her body language suggested that she was perfectly willing to talk. She'd watched Underworld countless times, after all. A few missed minutes would not confuse her, as they were things which she'd seen before.
"However, if it's something I am completely unfamiliar with, I do have a penchant for flinging boots, " continued Liora. Her gaze shifted from the screen to Krii'Ouse's face for a moment. "I've seen Underworld many times before. I think you may have already concluded that from my mind."
Her last comment was a masked warning to herself. She could not forget that Krii'Ouse was a telepath even though he was her comrade. Liora knew that he was respectable enough not to pry into her mind, but if her secret thoughts drifted to the surface like an unchecked bloated corpse, what then? Liora herself could not deny things which were presented to her, and she doubted Krii'Ouse could either. Such was the nature of man and his...'relations'. For now, she'd have to keep some things secret. She'd have to stay on her toes. ((Edit: I'm out for the night, and I'm not entirely sure that I'll be around tommorow night. If you don't feel like waiting, just say Liora fell asleep or something. sweatdrop I'll be able to get at least one more post in for the morning.))

Krii'Ouse chuckled at her joke, and her following comment. 'Please, you think I'm constantly listening to people's thoughts? I know better. I can only really hear thoughts which are at the surface of your mind easily. If you're concentrating on the thought more than others, that's the one I hear most easily. You seen Bruce Almighty? It's kinda like how he hears prayers, but only that bad in a crowded room.
I've learned to hold them out most of the time. If I'm really curious what you're thinking at the moment, why you're gloomy, why you're so happy, chipper, why your face is in a pensive position, I'll read up on it, but I won't intentionally delve into your mind. You'll feel it, be in pain, and hate me forever.
Only when people are unconscious can they not feel my prying in, and I olnly do it then to figure out what happened, and then enter their surreal mental universe to help them out. I've done it a few times.' He took a while to exlpain all of that, then moved on.
He sipped his Goose Island, and turned to the movie. 'You are thinkign about getting a room here though. I heard that much. You were thinkgin about that for a few seconds.'
He chuckled. 'I'm pretty sure there are a few extra rooms available...' he said, looking down in dissappointment... 'One extra now...' he said, remembering Skiaska having left. He didn't know if she was returning or what. He'd leave her room here for her though, should she ever come back.

Liora nodded solemnly as she heard his talks on his powers; it was as she expected: Krii'Ouse respected her privacy. In turn, it was her responsibily to keep her private thoughts, well, ah...private. However, she already nearly messed up this goal. He'd heard her thoughts about her piqued interest in the rooms at the Haven, but he hadn't seemed to hear her other thoughts. That was promising.
However, much to her surprise, Liora felt a subtle shiver traverse her spine initially at the mention of a room. Moving into the Haven would be the next big step for her; it would be the equivalent of twisting the prison door key on the enclosure that had become her life. If she were to purchase a room, she would be tossing aside her past, her previous relations, and her old means of life. She'd come to feel a certain...affection for her room, yet Liora knew this to be illogical: it was more of a prison than any other place could be. It was a welcome thought, getting a new room. No longer would she have to smell blood of months past upon entering her room; no longer would she be able to cast a weary glance at the closed doors and mourn over what had occurred on the other side of them. Moving out would be a healthy choice, even if she liked to believe that her health really didn't matter.
"I'll take anything but that 'one extra' room you spoke of," replied Liora. She wasn't sure whom Krii'Ouse was referring to when it came to that room, but Liora assumed that it was related to the grief he'd been stricken over recently. Abruptly, her mind brought a comment she'd overheard from earlier to her mind. His girl had left him. Ah, everything fell into place. "Assuming that it's quite alright. I'm fairly quiet, so I shan't disturb anyone."
So, she'd prepped herself from taking the 'big' leap away from her previous life. Liora deliberately crossed her arms and tucked her hands underneath her upper arms. Her hands were trembling slightly from a mixture of both anticipation and trepidation. Why must the most obvious and mundane of choices be so intimidating? Every part of her wished to escape her former den with the exception of the portion which still hadn't grasped that she was Lycan and still clung feverishly to her life as it had been.
