Storyline Centuries ago, a dark chaos was spread throughout the lands of Rome and eventually over took the lands of middle Europe. The war was the result in a thirst for more power by four warriors who started out trying to bring Rome back to glory from its untimely ruin. But soon, the warriors grew corrupted by power and transformed into beings that are hardly human; Hael became a Vampire, Tristan became a Werewolf, Xantha became an Enchanted Priestess, and Ria, the New Queen of Rome.
Sadly enough, they were once all companions, but the thirst for power changed them. The four warriors built their own armies and sought out to conquer the lands for themselves under a new era. For many years the battles coninued, wasting many lives and with no side gaining very much of an advantage. Finally, their conflict came to ahead and all four sides marched an assault upon the land where it had all started, Rome.
The chaotic battle lasted for days, the battle not going in any direction of victory for neither army. The Four Warriors finally agreed to meet in secret as they always did, guilt weighing heavily on their shoulders, hoping against hope to find a solution that would prevent more bloodshed and end the dreadful scourge they had created; A light from the heavens shone down upon them, turning them into four amulets and scattering them into different directions throughout the land, hidden, and only to return when found by own of their own kin on a full moon.
When the event happened, each race blamed the other for the disappearance of their master and continued to wage war many centuries afterward, giving themselves names for their clans. The Vampires became known as the Black Hand. The Werewolves became known as the death Dealers. The Witches were known as the Order of the Rose, and the Humans who fought back called themselves, the Day Walkers. Unfortunately, the new modern age bullets don’t prove effective against any of the inhuman races, old age weaponary seems to be the most effective. (ex. Swords, crossbows, feel free to add an interesting spin on them)
It was until the late twentieth century that the amulets were recovered by each side. Now they plan to resurrect their fallen leaders and finally put an end to the wars, once and for all. Which side will prove victorious? That is up to you.

Expectations [L]iteracy: I understand that sometimes a neccesary length to a post can inhibit people and cause writers block as i too suffer from the condition very frequently. However, please avoid one liners because they make my eyes twitch. [R]omance: If this story does not have at least some romance in it I will probably shoot myself in the head! Romance is encouraged and expected, however, please try to keep it realistic to a point, don't make your character a whore or easy! Create some sore of relationship. Also, this thread is open to all typrs of sexual orientation, go for it! [V]iolence: There will be blood. End of story, action is the key to keeping people interested in the story line and I don't want this rp to get boring. I'm sure a lot of it will be NPC battles and such between factions but I leave you to your own judgements in a pvp battle. But remember, your character is not god, if I feel like you are overstepping on your abilities, you will be removed with a sharp kick to the arse. [D]rama: These factions HATE each other. There is bound to be arguments and all sorts of fun mumbo jumbo, but lets try to avoid OOC drama. We're all adults more or less here, your old enough to settle petty squables maturely, but if you need a mediator, talk to me. [A]:Unless either We've elected someone to be a moderator or someone has requested to be one, Spoof's and my words are law. What we say goes and if we must, we are subject to change any of these rules at any time. We also reserve the right to remove anyone or to delete posts if I feel they are preventing the roleplay from doing well. [F]inally: Please enjoy yourselfs! We want to have a fun roleplay here, and while We may sound like We're being total jerks about these rules, We have seen so many of our threads end before they even begin and We're getting very tired of it. We'd really like to follow through on this one and not have it end because of something stupid.

When engaged in combat, Shavas wears a red jacket buttoned about half way with a beige collared blouse underneath. She wears a dark brown tie with a sliver skull pin and a silver tie clip. Most of the time, she wears square heeled combat boots with black lace, knee high stockings. She never takes off her brown gloves and wears a eyepatch even though she has excellent eyesight. A silver chain wrapped around her waist keeps her two, slim, one handed blades in place. Both are wrapped loosely with thin white cloth and have the words "kyuuketsuki" and "tsumibito" written on them which translate into "bloodsucker" and "sinner"] + --- [ I really dislike... ] - [ Werewolves. She despises them and their messy nature. Shavas hates anything she considers "primitive" or "barbaric". She's also a bit aphephobia (Yay Psych class lol). She doesn't like to be touched or touch things with her bare skin, but she won't have a panic attack if she is touched. She'd simply rather avoid any contact. She also dislikes imperfection, though she is not a perfectionist. If something is out of place, she will fix it, of course, but, as said before, she will not go into any sort of panic. She can't stand clingy people or those who insist on talking. Shavas, however, fears being alone.] + --- [ My sexual Orientation is... ] - [ If she ever decided to enter a relationship it would most likely be with a male. + --- [ My heart belongs to.. ] - [Shavas has never had any kind of romantic feelings for any person, though she was once betrothed. She takes interest in very few people, though she does find others attractive at times. She wants some one That would give her a bit of a reality check. Someone very down-to-earth and passionate about whatever it is they do. She needs someone mature and experienced with life, willing to be with her when she's at her worst. A kind, gentle person with ambition and charisma. She wants someone who will except her as she is.] + --- [ Description! ] - [ Shavas has always been the strong silent type. She's a bit selfish and with drawn from others, even her own kind. She had never grown attached to anyone or let herself get too close to others. Most of the time, she's polite and conservative, though quiet non the less. She socializes when the time calls for it, but she's still very distant and uncaring. Cold, some would call her, heartless even. Others would say she was just a bit shy. The truth is, no one knows what's going on in the mind of Shavas Yamagata.
Shavas was born and raised in Rome. She belonged to the aristocratic Yamagata family and was the child of Kaelene and Celio Yamagata. Being of "noble" birth, she grew up in a very sheltered environment. Everything was done for her, even her thinking. She had no opinion as a child. She was not creative nor curious as most children were. Her father was a very controlling man. Nothing was to be done with out his consent. Even his "beloved" wife was kept in line at all times. Kaelene, however, was an angel in contrast to her husband. She attempted to spoil Shavas by taking her out or buying her things her father would certainly disapprove of.
To say the least, the Yamagata couple had their differences. They fought constantly, often in front of Shavas. She was usually the cause of their spats. Both thought they knew what was best for her. For her father, it was isolation and for her mother, it was freedom. Unfortunately, Celio always won in the end. Until the day he died. At the age of forty- five, Celio Yamagata died from a stroke, but not before making one more decision for his now eighteen year-old daughter. He arranged her to be married and for once in her life, Shavas stood up for herself. She ran away and never looked back.
The details are hazy, but somehow the young woman was turned and became part of the Vampire army, as if act of rebellion against her deceased father.] + --- [ Got anything else to share? ] - [ Shavas looks at the world as an art critic might view a painting in a museum: pretty, yes, but hardly useful and filled with flaws. Its an intangible thing to her, merely another rest stop on the way to that lovely thing known as death. She tends to be fickle in her loyalties, often flitting back and forth between one person or idea and another. The only thing that is final in Shavas' life and opinion is the end of that life. All things die, for that is how the world works. It is the only thing she believes in and trusts. That isn’t to say she rushes toward it or forces others into it; actually, she believes the idea of death to be wasted if we haven’t been through the hell of life yet. To her, death isn’t a bleak and dismal inevitability—it is a release. And no release can be truly appreciated if we haven’t faced hardship and difficulty on the way toward receiving it. She is one of those strange people who truly cannot be classified as either good or evil. She sits on the fence, directly centered in that mysterious gray area. Shavas goes through life with the intention of enjoying it as much as she can. Although she doesn’t have any sort of “live life to the fullest” idealism, she doesn’t see the point of simply floating through life listlessly. If she is going to experience this step on the way to death, she wants to truly feel it. This want and need drives her to aesthetics. However, she also enjoys experiencing the grim and horrifying. She can find equal beauty in a sunset and slaughter, show appreciation for both the ocean and a drowning victim, or express simultaneous joy at a birth and a grisly death. And always with a disturbingly acceptance that many find too macabre to bear. ] + --- [ Who's pullin' your strings? ] - [ Faithofthefallen ]The order of the Rose-[The Spoof]- + --- [ Hi, my name is ] - [ Tsuki Nekage ] + --- [ My Race is ] - [ Witch ] + --- [ Age.. ] - [ 22 ] + --- [ I belong to... ] - [ The Order of the Rose ] + --- [ Beware of my... ] - [Power over shadows (rare, she's the only one in the Order who has it), she uses the usual 'ninja' tools, has a dagger or four hidden, etc. My usual selection of weapons. She also has a staff that separates into different parts that once put together is very difficult to take apart again unless you know how. She does have a moderate ability with a few larger weapons (sword, spear, etc.) but she never uses them and is out of practice, she doesn't own them either. ] + --- [ I really dislike... ] - [ The sun, people who won't stand up for themselves, alcoholism, people who think fighting fair is the only way to fight] + --- [ My sexual Orientation is... ] - [ Bisexual.] + --- [ My heart belongs to.. ] - [ A strong person, she appreciates a beautiful person whether they are male or female. She prefers either very long hair or very short hair, not much in between. She would like to be taller than her partner, and she is a dominant presence in a relationship. ] + --- [ [bDescription! ] - [ She had a normal childhood, or as normal as one can get in present Rome. The disputes between the factions stayed fairly far away from her home but her mother was a member of the Order of the Rose. She died in a conflict when Tsuki was 10. Her mother was the only other known shadow-user in the city and she left her daughter all her notes and compilations on the application of said powers. Her father is a normal human, he is still alive today and she occasionally goes home to visit him when not on Order business. ] + --- [ Got anything else to share? ] - [ Tsuki can be excessively paranoid, and usually only travels by shadow. ] + --- [ Who's pullin' your strings? ] - [ Spoofeh! ] ~*~{Hi my name is} Elara Wicken ~*~{Age}20 ~*~{My race is} Witch ~*~{I belong to} The order or the Rose ~*~{Beware of my} Elemental powers, and ability to shape shift into an barn owl. she uses spells like flair, shock, chill, and gust. she can also fly on her broom. ~*~{I realy dislike} cold tea, spells that backfire, werewolves ~*~{My sexual orientation is} Strait ~*~{My heart belongs to} no one at the moment. but she is infatuated with vampires. ~*~{Description} ((working on it)) ~*~{Who's pulling my strings}E.P. [L]ocations Okay, This is very simple. The setting of this Rp is in Rome, Italy. There are four cathedrals that surround the city. Each Cathedral is the base of one of the Clans.
The Black Hand: The Cathedral to the west of Rome. They have many weapons and blood banks stored underneath the cathedral in a sub-basement. There are many rooms with a victorian style attire. They also have most of the technology that modern humans do, as well as a well rounded library, so its very unwise to underestimate this cathedrals resources.
Death Dealers: The Cathedral to the South of Rome. This is one of the more destructive areas of the city. The Cathedral isn't in the best shape possible, mostly because the Blood Hounds only use it as mean of Shelter. They hunt for their food, but they are not completely unorganized. They have an assortment of deadly weapons hidden in their home.
The Order of the Rose: The Cathedral to the East. This is one of the most exotic and beautiful cathedrals of them all. Very well taken care of and is really modernized with furniture and clothing styles. However, inside there are many alters and there is a giant library of books of spells and deadly potions. The Cathedral is also protected by a long brick wall and one-way entrance gate.
Day Walkers: The Cathedral to the North. This building is packed with the best technology around. They have many training rooms availible in the basement and they also have an assortment of old age weapons. It has a tough security system to get through unless you're a Daywalker.
Central City: Technically neutral ground although this is where the majority of the battles take place. This is where those who have no side dwell.
Rome: This is the city, all the rest of its contents are a battle field for the races. Most notably the Celestial Courtyard (Made up). Its where the battle has taken place many years ago. If you can keep the center of the courtyard occupied, you'll definately win the battle.

Tsuki Nekage sat on a bar stool, waiting for her contact to meet up with her. Having no idea what said contact looked like, or who they were at all, she was spinning a silver coin across the knuckles of her left hand, which was the signal for her contact.
She scanned the bar, swirling the coin a little faster in her impatience and holding her head up with the other. It had only been about 10 minutes, but she was an impatient person.

There had been a time in Shavas' childhood where she had not believed in werewolfs and vampires, in magic and ancient warriors. But that time had passed when she'd reached adulthood and stepped outside her father's stifling home for the first time in her life. Two years had passed since then and she couldn't feel better.
The streets were eerie at night, something she had grown accustomed to over the years. Street-lights glowed almost defiantly against the night that threatened to extinguish them, but only dimly mind you The Bar was just up the left side of the street, flashing neon lights proclaimed it was open, and the grubby drunken men leering at her from the benches outside clearly indicated that it was doing quite well buisinesswise for this early in the evening.
She stepped inside the bar with a wary glance around, her hand resting casually on the hilt of one of her swords. A flash of silver caught her eye off to the side of the crowded room. Despite the oath she had sworn to her coven to abstain from violence her lips curled in a feral snarl and her grip tightened on the hilt of her sword, Sinner, at the sight of the young witch. But it was for a good cause, she reminded herself, the downfall of those disgusting werewolf freaks off to the south.
Recoiling absently from Tsuki, she sat next to the woman on the barstool and pulled at the end of her nose, the return signal.
"So what do yuo have for me?" She whispered in her slightly accented voice.

Tsuki looked at the woman who had appeared next to her from the corner of her eyes. She observed the apparent disgust the woman had for her on sight. Great, she thought sarcastically, this would be fun.
"Hm. Nice try, what's the code phrase first?" she said in a bored fashion, still rolling the coin around in her hand absently. Their interaction was covered by a brawl that had broken out almost as soon as the second woman entered the bar. Idiots, she thought with contempt.

Her eyebrow quirked at the brawl that broke out near the front of the room. How droll, she thought, rolling her eyes.
The woman's statement irritated her immensely, she glared at her for a few moments before proceeding. "Pudding cup!" she announced primly, while motioning for the barkeep to pass her a drink. She would never drink it of course, she thirsted for something much more satisfying, but she needed something to hold onto besides her weapons.
she tried to focus on something besides the fact that she was sitting very close to a mortal enemy. Almost too close in fact... their arms were almost brushing together, she scooted her barstool away from the witch o couple centimeters.

Tsuki was glad for the extra space between the two, she was uncomfortable sitting next to one of the blood suckers. Her mother's memoirs had contained many warnings against vampires, a witch's blood was more potent than a normal human. There were several spells within her book that had been for making her blood taste as revolting as possible to a vampire. She had never had the experience of being a victim of a vampire, (only some drained their victims dry, the running theory on that a dead human doesn't produce more blood later) but knew some people... "That's right. Well then...the flea-bags have been gathering in large packs lately. It's strange, since usually they live in mini-gangs of four to seven. Too many more and the males all get uppity, and the pack usually breaks apart from all the fighting. They've found a rallying point, apparently. "I gave you some info, now it's your turn; blood sucker."

(-grooves- CANT READ MY, CANT READ MY, NO HE CANT READ MY POOOKER FACE!)
Shavas nodded, it was nothing she didn't already know, she hoped the witch had more information than that if she expected to recieve the amount they'd agreed on.
"A dog by the name of Killane has managed to gather quite a significant base of power, or so we understand... He claims to have found the... Amulet."
She disclosed this last part rather hesitantly, the amulets were a rather touchy subject between the races. A drunken human chose that moment to stumble right next to her, spilling his disgusting drink into her lap. She leaped up with a hiss, and grasped his puny neck in one gloved hand, fully intent on relieving the world of his pitiful existence, but one glance at the witch stopped her in her tracks. Killing this human would start a brawl that would involve the both of them. Shew as unsure of his allignment. If it was a daywalker..... A confrontation between three of the four factions, definatley not a wise decision. With a disgusted sigh she thrust his as far away from her as she could manage, which was pretty far, and sat back down.
"I absolutely loathe humans..." she confided to the witch privatley, "No offense intended," she amended with a toothy grin.

((Poker face, pa-pa-pa-poker face)) Tsuki shrugged, not particularly caring about the life of a drunken idiot. Whatever faction he was from, she pitied them his existence. "Yes, we had heard rumors of the Amulets coming into play as well. The name is a new fact though, for that I thank you." she continued by rattling of some more information ((that I can't be bothered to think of at the moment)). The man from before apparently realized his drink was gone, because he got up and turned on her instead of the vamp who had shoved him, and demanded that she buy him another drink. "Hah, I think not. You came over here and spilled your swill on my...companion here. Get lost, pig." she ordered.
