A small olive colored pup lay amongst tall grasses, his eyes were closed as he slowly chewed on a mouthful of berries. Their sweet taste filled Gluttonies mouth as they burst on his tiny yet sharp teeth. Their taste was succulent and he slowly opened his eyes as he swallowed,"aaah yummy..." he smiled snuffling around gently through the grass looking for other berries. It seemed he had run out and so he slowly rose his tiny plump body and waddled through the grasses.

Miso quietly stepped through the brush with Shiru at her side. It was a lovely day out and she enjoyed the warmth of the sun on her fur. She stopped as she heard a small rustling near by. Shiru's fur immediately bristled as he too stared around him cautiously. "Now now," Miso murmured to her companion. "I'm sure its nothing too bad." she slowly advanced through the tall grass and peeked through to find a small pup. She immediately smiled, "Why what are you doing here young fellow?"

Gluttony's stomach grumbled quietly as he looked up with surprise, "uh hello," he smiled before spotting another berry, he waddled over to the berry and licked it up, "mmm." Distracted by the sweet flavor playing over his tongue he almost forgot about the adult and he glanced back seeing only the food. He tumbled over to her, "I'm eating of course," he mumbled talking as he chewed his eyes locked on the food on her side.

Miso frowned, concerned, "Do you have enough to eat? Should I get you some more food?" Shiru, however was not pleased. He stayed by Miso's side as he stared at the young pup warily and growled under his breath. "Oh come off it Shiru," Miso glanced at the small familiar. She turned to the pup and said, "Would you like me to go kill a rabbit for you little one?" she was quite curious to see how such a small pup had such a large appetite, but then again, they were pups. They needed all the food they could get to grow to be big and strong.

Gluttony nodded not paying attention to her words just focusing on the food, he would've started drooling if it wasn't for the dragonflies friend's growling. He snapped out of his trance and blinked, "uh yes? no?" he shook his head not knowing what he was even responding to, "kill a rabbit?" he tilted his head, it was strange that someone was offering to bring him food, "sure i... don't care."

"Well...I don't want you to starve, your parents might worry..." she swiftly ran past him, darting into the forest, called behind her, "Shiru. Stay there and watch the pup while I get him something to eat!" Miso finally reached the forest and slowed down so potential prey wouldn't run away from her footsteps.
Shiru grudgingly nodded and stared at the pup. He sat down keeping a close eye on him. He felt quite uneasy and suspicious of the other.

Gluttony nodded "Starve?!" he squeaked with worry that he might run out of delicious food before tilting his head, parents? he had completely forgotten about his parents... or did he have any at all? Maybe he had eaten them or got lost following a trail of berries, or maybe he never had any in the first place. Parents didn't really matter to him in comparison to food anyway.
The pup's eyes slowly drifted over to her companion and he waddled over towards him wondering if he was edible.

Miso peeked behind a large bush and to her luck found a rabbit. 'How fortunate...' she thought as she quickly pounced onto it snapping its neck quickly. She nimbly walked back to where she had left the pup and Shiru. 'I hope he didn't run off...' she thought worried.
Shiru held his ground eyeing the advancing pup warily. Why was it coming closer to him?

"Huh," Gluttony smiled looking the dragonfly's companion over and latched his teeth onto Shiru's leg, this guy wasn't very tastey it seemed but his friend did have food on them and he frowned, maybe it got better as you chewed? The pup started gnawing on his leg happily, it sure wasn't as tastey as those berries he thought with a frown and slowly released his leg.

Shiru immediately recoiled as the pup chewed on him. What was it thinking?! He swiped at its head with its paws growling and snarling at it.
Miso sprinted back hearing growls, 'I hope nothing bad happened!' she thought wildly. It wouldn't do to have such a small baby hurt! She peeked through the grass and inwardly sighed with relief to see both were unharmed. Shiru worried her, because he was growling and spitting at the pup. She dumped the meat in front of Gluttony, neatly cleaning it up for him. "Thankfully I managed to find a rabbit just as soon as I looked around little one." she said to the pup. "Enjoy." she smiled at him waiting for him to eat.
Shiru immediately went to Miso's side peering at the pup with distrust in its eyes. He wondered if Miso would ever realize this pup's true intention.

Gluttony pulled back surprised and he frowned his eyes widened as he stared up at the not tastey companion of the delicious looking dragonfly. His eyes watered slightly before he spotted the yummy dragonfly again, "yum!" he giggled carrying his pudgy body over to the meat before eyeing it warily, it looked like it might be delicious but he wasn't sure after the bad taste he had gotten from trying to eat Shiru. His stomach grumbled again and he was pulled from his thoughts and he bit into the carcass making quite growling noises as he tried to rip off a small piece, too preoccupied with the food to remember to thank her.

Miso watched, surprised at the pup's desire to eat. "What's your name?" she asked politely. "You shouldn't eat so quickly...you might choke." Miso said, getting worried that the pup's enthusiasm might be dangerous. Meanwhile, Shiru still stared at the pup growling, "Oh Shiru!" Miso said exasperated. "Why must you be so mean to the pup? I'm sure he meant no harm to you!" she glanced at her companion sighing. There was no way to get him to trust people was there?

Gluttony swallowed quickly, "um Gluttony," he said quickly before going back to the rabbit carcass and tearing at another small chunk, the meat was delicious, a foreign taste upon his tongue that he savored, much better then the bad tasting one. He glanced up with a frown as he chewed, "he doesn't like me," he said speaking with his mouth full his eyes watering again slightly but he was too easily distracted by the food.

"Gluttony?" she said quite taken aback. 'Well it does suit him,' she thought, 'it seems like all he does is eat.' However, she felt quite accomplished. She managed to get food for this pup, and managed to look after him since he was alone, wherever his parents were. She looked at Shiru, "He doesn't like you?" she sighed as the familiar looked distrustingly at the pup. "He doesn't really like anyone..." she smiled at the pup wishing to comfort him.

Gluttony nodded as she said his name, he chewed slowly thinking about the way the taste played on his tongue. He glanced up from the food as he swallowed and turned to look at the bad tasting one, "he likes you though," he said a tiny piece of chewed meat falling from his mouth onto his chin as he spoke, which he then attempted to lick off. He glanced around, "not that I blame him though," he blinked, "not many people that look like that like me much, but most of them are yucky anyway," he grinned before ripping off another chunk of meat off the bone.
