i am fed up of seeing cheap goggles tutorials on the net, made with beer can 6-pack wrappers, etc.

so, instead, i checked around what i own to find materials for my own pair.

so far i have found:
- a faux-leather belt (it is an age 12 belt, and im 16, so it no longer fits me) (this is perfect for the head-strap, nose-peice, and the interior of the eye peices, so that it comfortably fits my face)
- two Wine measuring cups (the sort you get attached to the lids of some wine bottles) ( these are perfect for the eye peices with some of the belt cut to fit the shape of my face on the interior)
- an old pair of sun glasses (the frame broke, so i can make use of the lenses) (for the goggles lenses)
- some fine chain, nuts-and-bolts, and a gear (for the details)

Note, the Eye-Pieces were painted with Citadel Miniatures "Mithril Silver" Paint. as i was fed up of the boring grey plastic that they were before.

i made this thread this morning, it has the remains of what happened to these goggles when i found that the strap was too short (it fitted a month ago...)
