Crosscurrent's post: It had been slow going, even if it seemed longer due to the lack of real sight. But guided by the Wavedancer used to the darker depths the trio made better time then not. The first head was Fathom (light blue tinted with white) who moved to let the other two that followed past. Next was the blinking face of Crosscurrent (blue tinted blonde), who hoisted himself up out of the water. A pause before the black hair styled unusually arrived to signal Tidalwave's presence.
By then Crosscurrent was looking around with an assessing green gaze not at odds with his small smile. Body tensed as he sensed the Glider moving about although he refrained from more then a wary glance upwards. Looking for Dancer while part of his attention kept an ear to his tribemates and a side-awareness of the Glider.
----
ooc: this seemed the order of their arrival. I tried not to god-play your Fathom or Tidalwave. Feel free to add in.

Savith drifted over the rest in Llune's Cave, then flitted down the shaped stairs to the underground cave with the pool that opened up into the ocean. The meager fire from above flung precious little light down into the cave from above and silently heralded Savith's arrival as clearly as if he had blotted out the sun.
Unable to pierce the darkness, Savith relied on his hearing, trying to pick out the sounds of wavedancers breaking the surface of the water over the steady soft murmur of the ocean outside knocking on the wall of the cave. He paused just at the bottom of the stairs and settled himself to the ground, where his boots whispered softly on the rock, echoing in the otherwise silent space.

"Of course," Crosscurrent with a mix of sigh and amusement as he stepped towards the faint hint of light. He was very close when he noticed the figure on the stairs better. Settled in wait, as if he had always been there despite having just arrived.

Fathom peered up out of the water. Once the glider showed up she pressed herself against the pools edge on the far side. She was sure Crosscurrent was in for a fight and so made ready her powers. *Take care my chief.* Her worried send filled the air. Then she looked past the glider to the stairs. *Minnow, are you well?* She sent openly as she couldn't pin point Dew's mind just yet.

Water sheeted silently off Tidalwave as he came to stand behind Crosscurrent. The black hair falling to one side as he studied the posturing between the glider and the wavedancer. His tall form just a dark outline with hints of features from the secondhand light.

Dewpaw had made it to the top of the tunnel when Fathom's send reached her. "Well enough" Dew called down the tunnel, not trusting herself to send that little bit just yet, not sure if her mind would register it as a lie. She walked slowly down into the tunnel, leaning heavily on the railing and staring at the stairs as she went, waiting for one to move evily away. *How have you been? Was the storm bad under the water?* Dew was hoping to turn the subject to something else, so no questions would be asked about why she didn't send her answer. She looked up to find Fathom in teh darkness, her eyes having no trouble seeing, and she didn't like the fact that Fishie and Savith were face to face. She remembered, vaguely, that Fishie didn't like Savith. And Fathom had warned Dew to beware of the Glider. *You aren't still worried about Savith, are you?*

Savith schooled his features into passive interest, masking the ill ease he felt at not being able to see clearly. A flicker of a smirk danced across his face a split heartbeat before a light frown took over and he once again schooled himself.
"Crosscurrent," he greeted aloud, in a respectful nod of his head. "It does the heart well to know you weathered the storm. I had been out skimming the water's surface, hoping to find you. We all owe you the greatest of thanks for your warning. After seeing what such a storm can do first hand, I doubt we would have faired well without it." As he spoke, the sends flitted about, and his mind heard them as one would hear the conversations going on about them. Dewpaw's question to Fathom, however, caught his attention, and he glanced over his shoulder in her direction. He quirked a brow, then half turned to reach a hand to her, a silent offer of help.

With his customary smirk to the Glider's masked expression, Crosscurrent replied, "True friends are worth everything. And it's her I came to see." Taking advantage of the Glider's shift in posture, that pause before his words would get a reply, he moved around the far side of the Glider to reach the stairs.
A smile at the Wolfrider youngling as he saw her. Not hurt by any of her reactions: nearly strangers, and Crosscurrent rarely interacted long with the small tribemates like his brother did.
Then, because he didn't trust Savith near Fathom he continued with, "But come and walk with me since you skimmed over our waters." Very polite. Partly uninterested. And to those ears that could decipher 'adult tones' there was a slight edge of emphasis in there. "I'm sure there are other words besides thanks you wish to share."
*/Why is the Glider here and you are not?/* he privately Sent to Dancer with some of the disappointment to this unfair (in his mind) trade. That wish to see her coloring the thought.

"Truer words never have been spoken," was Savith's softly murmured reply to Adin's first comment. He turned as Adin moved around him and made for the stairs. When bid to walk at the wavedancer's side, the glider nodded and turned fully, his back to the other two. "There are," he stated simply, noting the emphasis on walking. "But to your friend first, we shall attend. Since our last encounter, it's been discovered that she is a Healer, and it has cost her much energy to see to the injuries our small group has accumulated thus far. Hands touching would no doubt do her good." There was a faint pause before he continued, voice in much lower and softer tones and he murmured softly to the elf at his side, "And if you were as shaken as I was from said encounter, she may try to fret and see her new found touch used on you."

Green eyes shot to the Glider.
"Then hands shouldn't touch. Healers, especially new ones, can over-reach themselves on even small things." Crosscurrent was not over-joyed to learn of his friend's magic since he doubted she'd have another to keep her safe. Now more then ever he needed to keep an eye on her.
Shielders and Healers were common enough in his family.

To the words, Savith nodded, the frown blooming on his face. "All too true. She pushes herself too far too often for far too little need, in my opinion," he stated.

More firelight opened the world to Crosscurrent's sight as he keep going up the stairs. It wasn't long before they reached the top and he could see his friend blinking in some sleepiness by the fire.
He was quick to abandon the Glider to crouch near Dancer, although he didn't touch her right away.
"I hear you've been reckless with your new magic, Dancer. But it is good to see you only in need for more sleep."
(This is now moved to the upper part of Llunes cave home thank you)

Once the glider left Fathom popped her head up out of the water. Her eyes bright in contrast to the darkness of her surroundings. Smiling as she saw Dewpaw make her way down the stairs she said plainly, *He is a thief of family and friend. I am sorry little minnow but his kind has good reason to be distrusted.* The send then cheered up as she also shifted the subject, *As for the storm it was little more then currents shifting and cold water. Still finding yet another of our kind was a blessing from the High Ones.* When it seemed like all was clear Fathom pulled herself from the pool to sit with her tail to the side and slightly in the water still. She fussed a bit with her hair them said quietly, "I have a gift for you from the depths if you like."

When Crosscurrent and the glider went up the stairs Tidalwave looked to the youngling on her way down them. He said nothing but watched her as she passed. His heart longing for his own daughters bright smile and bringing a weak smile to his face. The violet eyes then pulled back to the stairs and he started up them.

Dewpaw accepted Savith's helped and quickly moved to the pool, staying out of both Savith's way and Fishie's as she did. She really didn't like him. She said nothing to him as he passed her and went up the stairs with the Glider, but to Savith she sent a light brush of support, happy no arguement had started between them, yet. And they seemed fine, if not stressed, talking about Dancer. It was something she figured they could agree on, if the only thing. She then turned her attention back to teh otehr two wavedancers, waving happily to both of them, not sure if their vision was like hers. She knew Savith and Peyote and the other non-Woflriders couldn't see in the dark as she could, but she didn't know about the wavedancers. *Glad you're okay. It was boring stuck in this cave. I waited for you to come back, but I guess you were gone for a reason.* with that she looked at Tidalwave just as he was passing her, and she gave y et another grin. *Hi, I'm Dewpaw* she sent to him, but she wasn't sure if he payed attention, as he was heading up the stares. With a shrug she turned back to Fathom, *A gift? but I didn't get you anything. I know, i'll bring you something from the trees or the forest! Something beautiful that you haven't seen!* Dew was excited to have her friend back again, and to have her headache slowly leaving her.

Fathom smiled watching youthful excitement. She did so enjoy the young ones and tolerated things from them more then she did elders. She beckoned Dew to sit next to her with the wave of a webbed hand. "You need not give me anything minnow. I am glad to see one so spunky and full of fire again. " Her voice was light and joyful. Light laughter left her hearing how bored the poor youth was stuck in the cave. Recalling her and her now chiefs explorations of various places in the area while the storm moved on. "Let me fix that mat of short hair you have and then you will get your surprise. As I do that you can tell me all about your boredom and how the others in your group were little entertainment to you." Again she chuckled and waited for Dew to sit.
