Long story short, I'm on track to get a distinction (top marks) in level two web design. In the back of my mind I have always had this thought....to make my own website specifically for EEW!
Gaia's kinda like a good homebase, but it's restrictive. I'm undecided on a few things, at least until I know whether it is worth doing or not!
I would create a site with a proper roster page like you would see in wwe.com or tna.com for each individual wrestler. I would include all the usual stuff like show results, top five etc.
For the shows, matches and promos to take place, I'll need to find a web forum I reckon. If anyone wanted to create their own shows, maybe the EEW territories could be brought back too!
So, after all that, is anyone interested? Would you sign-up and join a forum outside Gaia specifically for EEW?

That is such a moving idea Cartwright, and it would lead EEW in the right direction. This is a long time running show, and deserves every opportunity to get better and better. I would most definitely join, after all this time I've been going back and forth of the wrestling industry, I've finally been able to stick to it this time. And coming back to such great news as well as all these main events I'm being put in. I would work hard towards the show and try my best to make it worth every day on the roster.

Will be sad to see this place go inactive, but it'll be a radical positive note if EEW gets it's own website 3nodding

I would join, it's a cool idea.
If we were to move on to that website, we would just continue with the storylines here, right? If people who didn't know about Gaia joined, they'd be a little confused because they wouldn't know the backstory unless there was like a history page.

I'd probably forget about it. Since I'm on Gaia a lot, I can always remember to post here... If it went off Gaia, I'd really forget, and such. So, personally, I'm against moving the matches and such off Gaia.

What would be the perfect move for me is that everyone joined and all storylines were transfered to the new site as that way everyone still has something familar to get into, so that not everything is too unknown and, dare I say, scary? Maybe not realistic if some members think like Miro but that would be perfect!
Yes Mokoto, there would be a history page for certain so that new members would know what's been happening here! I would also keep the title histories and maybe have a section for some of the awesome promos that have been posted in the past! It would be a shame to lose promos like the Bloody Reich Reunion, TapOut Mafia formation, Jed vs Joey etc!
Another of my thoughts is, with the right advertising of this new site, it would bring in new members unique to the site making it even more interesting! Maybe other RP websites could be contacted about posting a link to the site for more veterans of other sites etc! I have some big ideas like that! cool
DJ, spammers would be banned from the forums as they would be here, simple! mrgreen
