In the chapel, there are several statues made of bronze. Each stands for a fallen hero. Some people come to lament their saviors, others come to the chapel for another reason altogether.

In the basement of the cathedral is a vast circular library. Each tome as ancient as the sands of time and hold the worlds darkest secrets. Under the power of the twin moons, Diana and Artemis, one can step down a corridor that leads to an alter, which may bring the dead back to life once after a death of unnatural causes, and, if the body has only been without its soul for twenty-four hours. Only here, can resurrection be preformed, and only at the grace of the two moon goddesses. Two dragons coil and spiral around the entire room before their two heads combine, Half from one, half from the other. The face beetles outward, as do the fore-claws of each serpent, which hold a gem, their talons acting like prongs on a diamond ring. The gem is the only portal to the afterlife and can only be activated when the two goddesses are in sync on the day of double moon. Their face looms over the gem in protection and represents the double full moon, which happens once every three months.

The two brazen bodies of the goddesses spirals, and lines the walls leading to the alter. The detail of the sculptures are acute, and inscriptions on the walls behind show the cycles of each moon, Diana on one wall, Artemis on the other.

Perched rigidly on the head of a fallen bronze hero, Moby the Jester leans back and forth with an imaginary wind blowing through the chapel in his head. According to his thoughts, magic captures the tangible moment. His tunic flutters and his bells are brought to a mischievous jingle.
His posture momentarily becomes alert as his comically induced trance is broken by the scraping of the chapel door against the stone floor.

Aurora pushed the door open to find a comically dressed man dancing on one of the alters. She frowned slightly but made to ignore him as she strode past and headed down the stairs to her private library and her mother's alter. Aurora had seen stranger walking through the woods than this man. The tip of her staff tapped the floor as she walked. She held it loosely and really had no care to pull it off the tile to stop the racket.

Moby, maligned at the ignorance of Aurora, wills the arm of the statue bent and slides down it as if it were oiled, somersaulting in the air and striking the head with his rod on the way down.
Thrashing around to muster threats from his bells, he slinks toward Aurora, ready to kick the staff from under her with a pointed toe.

Aurora stopped as she heard the bells and rolled her eyes. She hated it when noisy people bothered her and this man was new to her on top of that. She turned to face him dropping her staff to the ground with a surprisingly loud clatter and folding her arms as she watched him move forward.

" You're wanting an audience, I take it?" She asked in a tone that revealed her impatience. She pushed her silver hair out of her eyes and looked upon him with a indifferent stare. " You put on a very amusing show atop one of my god's alters. I am not sure I am happy about that, but I fear that if I do not give you my attention, you might interfere when I need to be focusing on something very precise. I was on my way to do that, but it can wait if it will get you out of my hair"

Moby fixed himself and became as frigidly still as the stone floor. His bells continued to jingle merrily, under the benefit of nothing.
He stood for a moment in surreal statue stagnancy, his bells all the while jingling in rhythm to his eyes as they shifted from corner to corner in exaggeration.
"Why yes, madam," he said, "I do enjoy a large audience, and you're certainly a full house."
Moby relaxed and flopped his arms about disjointedly into the pockets of his tunic. After a moment, he pulled a pack of cards from one and began to play it as if it were a flute. At every note, a card flew from it and orbited him haphazardly until the pack was spent. He then cupped his hands in front of him and twirled about as the cards were drawn into them.
He fanned them.
"Would you like to see a card trick?"

Aurora watched him, not knowing whether to be insulted by the mention of being a "large audience" or choose to take it within good spirit. Unfortunately she didn't have much of a good mood left in her after the events of today. She watched his odd behavior, her eyebrow raised but her arms relaxed at her side. She was skeptical at the card trick but agreed reluctantly.

" I suppose. "

Moby the Jester grinned with mercury fangs. He slowly, seemingly out of habit, parted his teeth and ran his tongue across the top row, then withdrew his tongue into the recesses of his maw to say,
"Pick a card, my dear Aurora!"
For a brief instance, his eyes darted diagonally and met with the copper cataracts of one of the statues.

She ignored the fact that the knew her name. Her nose scrunching up to his behavior. Never before in her life, had she met such a strange fellow. She pulled a card upwards from the rest, but not completely out of the deck, before grabbing it and pulling it free.

"So what now, Jester?" She asked, surveying his attire again, nose still scrunched in distaste.

((Lookit, I'm being my momma! Le Gasp! ))

"Place your card back into the deck, my dear. The finale is soon to come!"
The Jester fanned the cards once again, tilting them toward Aurora so she could slide the card back into the deck.
Upon doing this, he quickly squared the deck and threw it high into the air. The cards, by a snap of his fingers, exploded in a fifty two firework display and each fluttered down to the ground to form a perfect circle around him. With another snap of his fingers, he waggled his tongue at Aurora and giggled as the ace of hearts broke from the circle and hovered in front of her face.
"The most sensitive heart always leaves the circle broken, my dear."
After a silence of understanding, he added,
"It isn't so impressive when magic is familiar, is it?"
He cackled at his own bitter insight and doubled over as the corner of the card flicked Aurora's scrunched nose, causing a slight cut from which blood trickled.

She blinked as the card hit her nose. No doubt she was impressed by his display. The ghost of a grin flittered across her face as she watched him laugh at himself. She caught the card between the tips of two fingers as she realized blood sliding down the bridge. Her irritability had returned, but let out a laugh, honest, despite her attitude.

" It was rather showy. You certainly know what you are doing...Now, if you would excuse me, there are several tomes I must destroy before a wretch of a creature grasps them in her hands. I don't want her learning magic. "

"Ah, my dear, the finale has hardly arrived! I lament and regret that you must leave, for the show has jus- tomes, you say?"
Moby looked around, surveying the chapel hall with an expression of sincere helpfulness painted upon his face. He stuck out his tongue and bit it in concentration. Finally, he said,
"Oh, it appears I'm standing on top of several tomes. haha. The most elusive things are always right under one's own nose!"
Surely enough, Moby stood elevated on top of several ancient, flesh bound volumes. He took a short hop and the entire stack phased through the stone floor as his feet impacted the uppermost volume with a tinkle of breaking glass issuing from his bells.
"THE FINALE! LET THE THING BE DESTROYED!"
A careful card tower stillness was erected in the room as all four bronze statues became castles of bleeding heart aces.
The Jester disappeared.

Stig entered the chapel with one thought in mind, he wanted to study the crystal housed within as well as several tomes containing choice magical inscriptions. He didn’t however expect to see anyone except the normal priest or a member of the grounds keepers. His eyes surveyed the area his eyes showing in eerie detail the decay and degrade time and weather has caused to the building. “Beautiful,” he mutters running the finger tips of his left hand against the marble.

Pulling his mind from his current distraction he finishes entering the chapel just as a strange man disappears leaving a surprisingly decay-less woman standing there. She didn’t seem as old to his eyes as he expected almost like she was at least partially immune to the passing of time. His eyes narrowed in thought as he pondered the possibilities. ”Only one way to find out if she is immortal or not,” he though reaching behind him with his left hand and pulling out his pistol. Whipping it forwards he fired off one shot with a loud crack from the escaping gasses. Grunting after realizing he missed completely lowered the gun. “Your not normal, explain yourself?”

It was fun to observe the ignorant masses in their foolish lives but none were more entertaining to watch than those who tried to enjoy their pitiful existence. One such man expertly clad in the attire of a clown, or was it a jester? Either way this man was desperately trying to enjoy life to its fullest by entertaining a strange woman. It almost caused a chuckle to escape the vocals of a creature attached to a stone wall. His presence was that of a stone and such his skin matched the color perfectly. Crawling along the mass of architecture the man slowly made a path towards the large double doors. He wanted to join in on the festivities.

He snuck past another man, one that appeared to have his foot half way through deaths door. Dropping down a couple feet without a single sound he landed in the doorway. Standing erect his body shifted in a matter of seconds to take on the appearance of a normal human male. He let his existence be known as such a male and no longer stone before entering into the chapel. Such fond memories this place once held, and such memories will forever stay within the males head.

Um. Excuse me. Are you by any chance a priest of this place?” The male asked as he walked up from behind the man clad in black, portraying a person who knew not of the shot fired moments before since he supposedly(But obviously not really) arrived after such acts were committed.

Aurora, already fuming at the fact that the Jester had left with her books, and that her Mother's alter had been turned to a tower of ace, pivoted, now livid at the man who'd fired the shot. He'd asked for an explanation, Aurora. You should give it to him With a roar and a slam of her staff a spike of stone wedged itself up from the ground near his feet and she barred the entrance to the library with a stone slab. What useless books remained would not be touched.

" How dare you fire a shot on hallow grounds!" She roared. She slammed her staff again, and she... too vanished.
