A rustling wind makes the towering trees shutter and creak, their leaves turning upward, as if praising the heavens. Beneath the canopy lie several rivers and streams, all of which lead into the main river, Curra, which is the source of Winter. The waters are always frozen over and it is always Winter here. When the seasons change, like a front, it spreads to the entire country, and even to the wastelands. All of the seasons spread in such a manner when it is their time.
If one climbs the mountains to the North, they will find several rivers of hot springs. This keeps the forest in check, and for most of the year the forest is mild. Rain storms happen regularly because of the steaming vents and springs. The mountain range is volcanic and is the source of Spring.
In the heart of the forest, the deepest inward, is the source of Summer. Here the river Curra does not cut and the vegetation is thick and lush. It is muggy here, and flowers are always in full bloom. Naturally growing fruits and berries can be seen on the trees and vegetables grow where passing travelers have dropped seeds. Moss is plentiful on the rocks and Spanish moss blows in the wind.
The edge of the forest is the source of Fall. Its leaves always colorful as if in full change. The river Curra is nearby as is the mountain range so the confused trees are always pressed to a perpetual show of vibrant color.
These four areas make up all of Terrain Forest, and each season that affects the wastelands and the few other forests all come from here. The fountain of youth is said to flow here, though it has never been found. Creatures that have never been seen, nor dreamed prowl the forest floor.
To the South of the forest is a town, and it is here that the scarred earth of the wastelands begin. Here you can find a bar, Inn, stable, and various shops that would aid a weary traveler in need of fresh supplies. The town is named Conflagration.

Nather stood near a river that was frozen over. It was cold and not a normal cold it was a bone deep cold. But Nather did not flinch from the icy wind that blow over him. "this is a very interesting place here." He said as if someone was nearby. But there was no one near him. Or at least no one he could sense.

A trickling of a brook whispered in Aurora's ear as she sat on the mossy ground. She was in the heart of the forest, and the muggy bliss mad her yawn as she listened to the frogs and crickets croak and chirp.
"Gosh what a quiet day." She muttered, speaking to her clydesdale, Clay. Indeed it was a quiet afternoon, and Clay shook his head, rustling his main as if to agree.

Nather looked at the water the was frozen infront of him. He smiled and then looked around. It one direction it grew more green and lush, another it was warm but had tree's with many different colored leaves. Yet still in another, there was heat and over grown plants." I think I should warm up some." Nather said to himself again. Then he slowly made his way to the warm overgrown area in the distance.

Aurora had picked a honeysuckle vine, which was in full bloom, and chewed on the blossoms for their sweet nectar. She stretched out and lied down amongst the moss, her silver hair licking, and curling into a still, scattered position as her head rest itself on the ground. Her crisp red eyes scanned the area as the crickets quieted. The sun beat down between the thick canopy of the trees and spotlighted various areas of the ground, as if expecting the leaves to get up and preform a theatrical show.
Aurora hummed to the silence. Her song content and light. It was just after midday. Her dreamy state of mind, further comforted by the heat, allowed her to slip in and out of a doze.

As Nather walked he soon found himself in a area that was much like summer would be. Then soon after he entered the area he heard a humming sound it was a calming sound. Nather decided to follow the sound and see if he could find someone who could tell him where he was. As he drew closer he saw a woman laying on the ground. From what he could see she had long silver hair and piercing red eye's. " should not disturber her." Nather said as he sat down next to a tree. After e few minute's he could not stop himself from playing along. Nather pulled out a flute and began to play along with the woman's humming.

Aurora's eyes opened wide, wide awake by the presence of another. She heard his song and lept to her feet in an acrobatic manner, grabbing an arrow from her quiver and setting it before even bothering to look around. Her ears honed in on the location of the sound and she turned her head to look at the man playing the flute.
"Who are you?" She asked in a cold tone. Her eyes observed him, taking in his body type and what he would most likely be wielding, weapon-wise.

Nather stopped playing and put the flute away."I am Nather." Nather smiled as he looked at the woman. She had a cold look in her eye's but behind it he could see a kindness as well." I did not mean to scare you. I was wandering around when I heard your song. I could not resist playing along with you." He said holding up his hand. But he made sure to keep them away from the large claymore on his back. The sword was aleast 6ft long and 1foot wide.

Kasumi scowled, her wings arched, ready for a quick escape should he pull a fast one, but she slid her arrow back in the quiver at her thigh, and slung her bow over her shoulder.
"My name is Aurora... And I don't typically like strangers who sneak up on me." She eyed his weapon before meeting his eyes again. "And, your a fighter... "
She took a few steps back before thinking, her silver hair falling in her face softly as calculated a defense. " His sword is large, I'd need a stone wall, preferably granite, to shield from it; a foot or so thick. Claymores are crushing swords, not slicing weapons. So, if he attacks, I'll be ready."
She smiled at him a little, pushing the hair from her eyes and letting her wings relax.

Nather bowed gracefully before Aurora."I am truly sorry. I meant no harm to you." Nather said placing his hands at his side's and taking a cautious step foward. He did not want to fight Aurora if he did not need to. He sized her up using his periferial vision. She seemed to be a quick kind of fighter and not someone who would do good in close hand-to-hand combat."I am not a fighter . I am meerly a traveler." Nather said this with a kind smile.

[[ EDITED:: No large images in posts. In fact, no images in posts at all. All references are to be posted with your character bio. You also need to proof read your posts before you send them. I have edited this one, but I won't be lenient on the next post.]] Kazuo Kawada, a teleporter to nowhere in particular.
Kazuo walked through the forest, twirling his retractable staff. He didn't really walk, he more or less teleported a few feet or so, getting him to places faster. a small black stripe that looked faintly like smoke appeared every time he teleported. That's because he was breaking the space continuum. He couldn't go back or forward in time, though. Oh well, it would've been cool to see a few dinosaurs... He shrugged, teleporting a few feet forward again, still twirling his staff, now a bit more than a foot long now. His worn suit had a few cuts in the fabric, but he didn't mind, it gave off more of a 'rocker' vibe about him. He continued walking to nowhere in particular.

Aurora watched him for a moment. She could tell that he sized her up too. She grinned and sat down by the brook again.
" So Nather... why have you come to this place?" Aurora asked, pulling an empty canteen from her hip, and filling it with the stream, before drinking from it, letting the excess water slide down her chin and neck, before wiping it away, and filling her canteen again.
"This forest is bountiful..."

Nather looked at Aurora then walked over to the stream and knelt next to it. Nather then said a prayer in a foreign language and pulled a drinking horn from his belt. Nather placed it under the water and watched as bubbles came from the horn."I was wandering. Following my feet where ever they may go." Nather pulled the horn from the stream and drank from it not spilling a single drop. Nather then stood and looked at a small plant that seemed withered and dieing from lac of water. Nather smiled and walked over to the small plant and poured what was left in the horn onto the plant. "There you go little guy. I bet you just needed a little help." Nather stood over the plant smiling at it.
