I want it to be cold here as well. Though they did forecast cold weather for tomorrow. But I'm ill so I won't be going outside in it anyway. D: It was -35C in Lapland a few days ago, I was jealous since it was only a bit below 0C where I am. I need to move further up North.
It sucks that school's starting again next week, I recall you beginning at around the same time I do. Travel safely.

It's been -25 F and lower in parts of northern Minnesota. Luckily, I don't live in the northern parts. sweatdrop Though -15 F isn't much of an improvement...

I'm told it's about -26F at home now, if you count the wind chill factor.... makes me quite happy I'm on vacation in Arizona until Feb 11th. You should all join us. Been 70s in the day time, probably 50s at night.

Gravechylde Where's global warming when you need it? Global warming does does more then the name says. Its caused by the atmosphere being eaten away so that means if gets hotter in the summer and colder in the winter, as well as what Mana said, it also gets colder in places that shouldn't be and warmer in others.

I love how people are so quick to attribute a natural phenomenon that's been occur for billions of years before humans were even on the Earth to us. We've only been keeping records of temperatures for less than a couple hundred years, and to assume that all of the sudden we made such a drastic change is ignorant. Back in the 70's they attributed our carbon admissions to global cooling, and said that global cooling was causing the spike in hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis and such. But history shows that the Earth heats and cools in cycles. And as the temperature increases, carbon levels increase in proportion, and then when temp. tops off, carbon dioxide levels are close behind. And the Earth has gone through several ice ages before humans even existed. Are we gonna blame that on carbon levels in dinosaur farts? Just wait a few years and when temps start to drop again Al Gore's gonna come out and say we did too well and now we're cooling the Earth or some s**t like that. stressed

I never said we were responsible, but denying the fact that temperatures aren't rising in some areas and decreasing in others more and more every year, as well as the polar ice caps melting and the ocean rising is just plain old ignorance. We may not be to blame, but global warming sure as hell exists.

It happens.

Of coarse it is a natural cycle but most of humanity can't survive during these extreme climate changes such as the hotter heat and colder cold. I think were argueing over the same thing here, so I quit.
