The latest and greatest news in DD news is that they are playing at a inaugural party. The details are in the blog on their myspace (Or is it just Amanda's I'm not so sure.) Though I may not be an Obama supporter I can still see how great this is, Amanda and Brian up on stage, together <3. Details below:

the dresden dolls are going to be playing in washington DC on the very historic night of barack obama's inauguration - january 20th, 2009 - in washington DC.

the event is going to be held at the 9:30 club, one of our favorite places to play EVER.
we are going to be on a bill with michael franti, talib kweli, the honey brothers (with adrian grenier), and jamie burke.

that is totally awesome!!! I wish I could fly out to see them!
We're having a special schedule on tuesday because we're going to watch the inauguration at school. It's odd I know, but at least I have the possibility of missing some classes!!!

Anubis - Obama doesn't excite me, hardly, I think he will give the last final crush to hope in the US of A. BUT! After the little youtube comment mix up, I have to say, it's nice to see them performing together again, (aside from new years) (God I'm scarily obsessed.. or maybe just bored enough to read the blog almost every day)

They played together fine on New Years, maybe it will, but who knows, maybe some of the chemistry they have will remind them of why they play together?
