Stalking through a close by area a male dragonfly watched a small herd of deer gazing without real care. Grinning to himself he would change their ways quickly. Having slept most of the day away he was more worried about catching a meal then anything else around him. He stopped on a rock not from the herd and kept his head down and body low to the ground before going back to stalking.

Grinning darkly as one of the deer stepped away from the herd a little bit the hunter slowly stalks closer to the herd and the deer who moved away. Once he thought he was close enough he pounced fangs first into the Deer killing it on contact. Looking up as the other deers bolt off he grins as blood drips from his jaws before digging into the dead deer at his feet. Flicking his blond tail slowly as he ate he listened for any sounds of something that would dare to come near him to take his meal.

Hearing something out of the normal to him he looked up and around, but not going far from his meal for the time being. "Maybe the wind is playing tricks." Shaking his head he sniffs slightly then returns to his meal to finish it quickly. Once the meal was gone and bones were left he stood and licked off as much the of blood from his muzzle as he could. "Alright. I heard something or someone a minute ago. Who's there?" He growled slightly slowly walking the area the sound had seemed to come from.

Hearing the hissing again he looked up to the trees for the source. Searching the branching with icy blue eyes he listened for any sounds. It wasn't long before he spotted the source. ".... Well well. Look what I found." He grinned slightly as his tail twitched slowly as he stood there looking up at the amber eyed dragonfly. He didn't fully remember the cat like dragonfly, but a part of him did and was telling him what it wanted to do which he was ignoring.

Tilting his head slightly to the side he shrugged. "I can go where I please. The world's big enough for me to do so. I can also stay where ever I please. Got a problem? Too bad." Twitching his tail calmly he kept his eyes on the other. 'Why do I remember her? Cause you harmed her a long time ago. You again? Didn't I lock you away in a cage? You can't truly keep me locked away forever. I will break free again and the world will know it. Your annoying shut up and sit in your cage quietly.' Ignoring his darker side he shook his head and rubbed a paw over his head like in pain.

Dodging the broken branch he watched her calmly. 'I didn't plan to hurt you again. You lie through your fangs. Silence you! Your the one who hurt her!' Closing his eyes he let out a almost whine slightly as he ran his paw over his head again before opening his icy blue eyes which revealed a slight dark blue glow for a minute before disappearing in the sea of ice. Standing he turned and headed off. "I....I'm....My ears are ringing....." Heading off into the grass the herd of deer bolted off again just incase he was hunting again.

Once back to the place he was calling home he curled up outside the entrance before rubbing his ears again. "Why can't I remember what my other side has done? Damn my ears and head hurt. Your not breaking free! I won't give you freedom!" Growling slightly he knew his darker side was testing the mind cage again trying to get out. 'Your afraid of your own abilities your afraid of me. The other side of you. Your a killer! I do remember that much! I remember how many times you....well you are a part of me no matter how much I dislike you. You caused me a lot of trouble! You enjoyed it though didn't you? So your no better then me minus you don't want to kill as much. I'm ignoring you now. Your giving me a headache too so shut up.' Standing he shook his head quickly and flexed his claws. "My life is messed up cause of my darker side. Oh well I need to learn to live with it then since trying to change isn't easy." Sighing slightly he walked over to the small water source that was near his home to drink and clear his mind.
