Dazzle Surprise giggled as she raced through the snow. The purple mare ran and ran, pushing snow up and flying behind her as she went. The weather may be chilly but nothing could damp Dazzle’s spirits. All this snow was fun to be in! You could do so many things in it. Like yesterday, when she tripped, she rolled and rolled and rolled. It was scary at first but after getting to the bottom, it was fun. Regardless of her klutziness, Dazzle had tried the rolling again and again till she grew too dizzy and had to rest. This morning also provided a new activity, she had been running this morning when she had slipped on a patch of ice. Slipping and sliding the mare had went until she crashed into a snow bank.
It had been a rush of fun! Over the next while, Dazzle had practiced walking and gliding on the ice. It had been extremely difficult for the mare, her hooves were so wobbly she slipped and slipped landing either on the ice or in the snow. However, it was good fun and so Dazzle was all right with her constant falling though it did hurt after wards that she had to go back home briefly to rest before heading back out.
Dazzle stopped in her tracks, chest heaving from all the running she had been doing. She gasped, taking in slow breaths of fresh air. What else could she do in winter? Her light green eyes looked around. Her eyes caught the glint of something and the mare titled her head to the side, wondering what it was that was shining.
Heading over, Dazzle looked at the crystal like things that hung from certain tree branches. They were so shiny! And tasty! Well they looked tasty! Dazzle walked around, looking at them. If she just reached up, she could get them. She froze. Something prickled at the back of her neck, as if she shouldn't lick it. Dazzle backed away from the tree, her green eyes eyeing them curiously.
So tempting.

Serenity: *She didn't know what to do but watch, and so she did. She watched this very strange mare act as if she was a kid. All the while she remained hidden behind a bush.
Those dual colored hues focused on this mare, she'd never seen an adult act in such a way, it was actually very strange to her, she wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing and a few times the expression she saw on the mares face almost gave away her hideout as they were so ridiculous they made her giggle, but fortunately she'd held it in long enough not to give way her position.
She wasn't frightened so much as just with out experience in what to actually do to respond to this mare had she seen her. After all how did one hold conversation with a clown? not that she'd ever seen a clown or knew the word but the same concept was behind her thoughts right now. You could like something a lot but still not know how to interact with it. So she did what she did best, She watched.*(sorry it took so long, been really busy.)

Her light eyes were still locked on that tree. It might be fine, getting them off the tree, they looked like ice, now that she thought on it. She sneezed. Yeah, that was it, her warning signal. Dazzle stuck her tongue out at the tree and backed off. Sneezing definitely told her something was up! A prickle at the back of her neck or a shiver throughout her body was a warning signal too, but sneezing......it so freaked her out. Okay, sure she did it usually when the sun was bright as well as other times but when she wasn't supposed to do something, she sneezed!
What could occupy her now? Dazzle had hoped the ice thingy could entertain her for a while but now that she definitely couldn't go after it, she had to find something else to do. But what? Looking around, Dazzle pouted. No one was around, it was awfully lonely. Spotting some bushes, Dazzle grinned. Squirrels lived in bushes, right? Or was it up trees? Dazzle tilted her head from the left side and then to the right. She had difficulty remembering. Though, Rain Curl had once told her most animals hibernate through the winter. Whatever hibernate was. Dazzle so needed to pay more attention to things. She might miss something important!
Sighing, the purple mare shook her head once and grinned. Well, only one way to find out. She began heading towards those bushes. There may not be any squirrels in there but if there were, they'd be her buddies. Her winter buddies for the day! Dazzle began to walk faster. Oh, she hoped there were squirrels in there.
