Valentines Day

Intro
Alright! This is our first and annual contest in this new year and our very first contest in Endless Time! biggrin This contest is all about Valentines Day, so show me what'chu got wink

Note!
There might be some changes underway and during the entire time of the contest, so keep an eye out! Anything can be altered.

Time difference is or can be a problem if you're not aware of it ^^ Since i'm the one in charge of this contest, it'll be running in +1GTM time zone smile

Rules
It's a creative type of contest, so you're more than welcome to draw, paint and digitally create an art. This means you can make a wallpaper, animation, comic strip or anything similar.

The theme is Valentines Day, so don't create something that has to do with Christmas or anything unrelated. Ask yourself this; what does Valentines Day mean to me? That should be of some help to get started on your creativity.

That means it's all about love, not sure if creating something "dark" would fit the picture, even though you might be someone who hates Valentines Day. Keep all that dark negative energy in store for Halloweens 3nodding

In order to enter the competition, you must write down your name and the type of art you wish to create for the contest. Just write it simple such as; wallpaper, animation, picture or similar. Don't want you to give away all your information to your opponents wink xd

Now to the serious part, when you've decided to enter, you MUST follow the rules! If not, you will either be disqualified or not get the chance to win.

Please remember to add credits and copyright to your work. You can't google something and use it as your own. That's stealing and a copyright violation. For example; do you find a picture you wish to incorporate into your art, add the http:// address! Don't stoop so low that you're entering an art that is clearly not yours. It's a shame and it ruins the fun of it all.

Voting will consist of a few days before Valentines Day. The winner will be revealed on that day. 1st place - 3rd place = prizes. If you're not in the Top 3's, then don't be a soar loser. This is supposed to be fun and exciting so that we'll all be hungry for the next contest. So please show some good sportsmanship ^^ Each individual will vote, those who're in the competition may not vote on their own art! All the contestants will pm Mulie (Guild Mule) with their votes, while everyone else votes via the Poll.

Guidelines 1
These guidelines are for the contestants only! These do not apply for everyone else.

1. Decide whether or not you're going to join the contest. - Once you join, there's no turning back. Either you make it or you don't.
2. Make up your mind with what art you wish to enter with. - You're not allowed to change your art subject. You're stuck with what you chose.
3. Write your name and art type. - Example; The Dung Master, Animation.
4. Start working on your art. - Hopefully you'll be able to finish in time.
5. Remember to go to the toilet if necessary. - Just joking around xd
6. Make sure to add credits and copyright if you took something from the web. - If you forget or "lie", then kiss your prize goodbye.
7. Post your final result when the deadline is over. - If you don't make it in time, just submit your art anyways ^^
8. Vote for you favorite art piece which isn't yours of course and send it via a pm Mulie. - Example; The Dung Master votes for Mr Cookie.
9. Do not vote in the Poll! - I'll be counting who's been voting and making sure non cheat. Since you sent Mulie your vote, there's no need to vote again.
10. On the final day, we'll reveal the winner. - The final contestants votes will be posted here and thereby adding all the votes together to see who wins.

This is only for the non-contestants! These do not apply everyone else.

Okay, now it's time to join the fun and i hope a lot will take part in this ^^

The contest begins this Sunday the 18th 2009.
Post here in this Thread to enter the contest.
The contest stops on Sunday the 8th 2009.
Voting will begin that day and end on Thursday the 12th 2009.
The Poll will be available Saturday the 14th 2009.
The Poll will last until Wednesday midnight 18th 2009.
On Valentines Day, i'll check Mulie for the pm's (votes from the contestants - whom are not allowed to vote in the Poll)
On the same day, the winner will be declared and there will be prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The winner of this contest will have their art subject placed in the "Hall of Fame" Subforum. And if possible, on the frontpage as well.
Depending on how many will attend, there might be a "bonus" involved ^^
