Welcome Suma ^^
I hope to make friends as well
Ah, that's quite interesting you've gotten published already
What is it you're working on now? More specifically than non-fiction I mean..
I don't think I could do non-fiction. My mind wanders too much lol

currently i am working on a book still untitled but it talks about the meaning of Life coming from the point of view of an aspect of spirituality, also i am working on a book called East in West being Indian in the Western world.

I was also wondering in post your work subforum can i have one thread with different posts of different works or does it have to be one story per thread?

Ah, that does sound interesting -nods-
And I'm not sure, I've not gone in there. In the work subforum, I'd just go by the previous presentations done there by the members. If you could get ahold of one of the mods or the owner to ask they'd probably know.

yep just made a thread of my work in the post your work subforum, i find that my personal experiences draw me into writing, our life experiences is something that is so precious and why not share it with all, i also do fantasy writing but i tend to be more drawn to non-fiction.

*Moderator pokes up* Yeah, you can post more than one work on the thread. If it's wrong, the moderator for that section can easily sort it.

Welcome to the guild and I hope you enjoy it here. We are currently trying to haul everything back into working order so everything should hopefully get busy again soon.

Hm I see, I hope to be able to take a peek at some of your work then more as you're here ^^

It's really cool that you've been published before! How exciting! I know that feeling of starting something new. Just when I'm working on getting one thing finished up, when I really need to pay attention to it, I will have this crazy urge to start something new!

Ok now i am back terrible glitch gaia has been having ended me being booted out of this guild for some reason cry

My writing has been coming along very well you can check out my works at www.suma-kaur.deviantart.com I have been posting a lot of my works up there more recently.

Getting published is very exciting especially for newspapers as that was where i was published twice. I also have the urge to start something new when i think of something neat to write about, mostly there short stuff definietly not in the fiction or fantasy genre at the moment but more personal and autobiographical aspects.

You were published in the newspapers? =o how awesome..
And yes, that was weird.. I hope more bad glitches don't happen as right now Gaia is trying to rewrite the guild system to make it fit in with the rest of the site

yes in 2002 i was published in India Abroad Newspaper. I wrote about my experience suffering from depression and its stigma of getting help for mental illinesses within the Indian community. The second one was something very similar as well.
