Kaname was in a clear area not too far from his home. It was dark out, but he much preferred the dark over the sunlight. The sun bothered his eyes and made his fur coat far too warm. Stretching out of the long grass, he shut his eyes. He had told the others not to bother him, and he was quite happy that they'd listened. Now it was just him and his precious veil of black covering the moon. There was nothing but silence to keep him company, the way he liked it.

Quietly, Kawe walked through the forest, the occasional twig cracking under a velvet-soft, but steel-hardy paw. Kawe was mainly an outdoor Kit, preferring the noise of nature to the noise of the city. Anyone who said the forest was silent lied. There was the beauty of the whisper of the wind, which whistled so slowly through the leafy canopy of the trees. A solitary squirrel in the tree above him, it's heart beating faster than a rabbits, pumping life around it's tiny body. A cricket, chirping it's mating tune, as the moon, so heavy with the weight of lovers stares, made it's appearence into the silken black of the night sky, peppered with tiny Kawe's, the glows of light in the sky that gave him his name.

Silent footsteps walked upon the grassy grounds of the forest. Slender pure white paws found their way through the area as if the owner knew exactly where she was going. With each footstep new greenery fluttered to life for a moment leaving a fresh trail of new life before dispersing once more. The one responsible for such a sight? None other then Ameratsu herself, of course she referred to herself as Ammy and asked others to call her the same. As a being reflected by the sun itself it was a little odd to see her out so late. Then again she was normally so busy during the day that the night was the only time that provided her with some peace and relaxation. Ammy tilted her head a bit to the side her eyes meeting another's not to far off from herself. It was dark out, and normally it would be hard to see, but thanks to Ammy's flaming disk on her back which she used to protect herself in dire situations the path was dimly lit. "Hello there, enjoying the scenery tonight?" Ammy questioned to to the kit who seemed to be enjoying a nice nighttime walk much like herself (Kawe).

Kaname's ears perked up. Not too far away, he heard a low voice. Who was that, out so late? Silently, he decided that he should find out. Stealth as he was, Kaname jumped up into a tree, leaping from branch to branch until he got close enough to see the two. 'Who are they...' He asked himself. One was as black as the night with bright colors on him. The other seemed to be white, and a bit of red. Seeing them as no real threat, he jumped down gracefully. An air of authority hung in his eyes as he stood up straight and tall.
"Address yourselves." He spoke to them, eyes shifting back and forth. He felt if they were getting even a little close to his home, he should know their names. Regardless of how they seemed, they still may pose a threat.

Kawe opened his mouth to reply politely to the other Kit, when a white-clothed Kit appeared, jumping gracefully, as if he has all the winds of the world on his side, from branch to branch. Kawe blinked, and without thinking gave his tail a small thump. His face then colored with a blush, but with the coloring of his fur, it was impossibly to see. When the other spoke however, his face dropped into a scowl. "Surely it is only polite to introduce yourself first. But as you seem to lack manners, I will. I am Kawe, named for the markings as bright as the lights in the sky." And indeed, in the night, his markings were bright and easily visible, standing out against his dark silken fur.

Ammy couldn't help but blink in slight surprise at the sudden arrival of another kit. This one seemed clothed in white, and despite his almost gentlemanly look his sudden declaration to speak their names proved such a thing wrong. Ammy didn't mind however, she was laid backed and was the type of Kitsutora to look at the positive side of things.
Hearing Kawe speak of manners then say his own name Ammy couldn't help but giggle softly. Her brush like tail swished behind her, "While what Kawe here said may be true, it might be us who are intruding without knowing. I'm sorry if we disturbed you, I'm Ammy. Pleasure to meet you both," Ammy stated sweetly, her voice holding an almost warmth to it and she bowed her head to the both of them. "Now that's we've both introduced ourselves, how about giving us something to call you by as well?" Ammy questioned not quite sure what to call the other Kit right now.

Kaname observed Kawe first. He didn't miss the tail thump nor the way his black fur had shifted color slightly. Although Kaname wasn't surprised about the scowl. "I do indeed have manners." He replied calmly. Giving a short bow, while never letting his eyes leave them, he added "I apologize. You must understand how cautious one has to be sometimes." Kaname let his eyes wander a little too long on the Neon kit. He was certainly polite, despite how rude Kaname had been.
Kaname's eyes snapped back to Ammy, not wanting to be caught staring. "It's alright. Your excused." He said. "I was only resting, but my home is near by and I probably over reacted, as you too don't seem much of a threat." When asked his name Kaname offered a small smile. "I am Kaname Kuran. You are only to call me Kaname though." He nodded at her, trying not to seem to offensive. He was used to being in control, but he figured getting these two angry wouldn't be in his best interest.

Kawe tilted his head to the side, accepting his apology. Green eyes, pupilless pools of a green so vibrant it seemed almost unreal, studied the kit in front of him. "Yes. Caution is never to be underestimated." Odd. He didn't seem the cautious type ususally, his owner would have said. Kawe was more polite than anything else. His paws were usually pristine with cleanliness as he entered the house, his tail was perfectly fluffed when guests arrived. He was everything his owner wanted of him. Except, that when she bought him, she expected him to be slightly more..lively. It was if he was detached, passing through the world with as little emotion as possible. Sometimes she wondered if a better name would have been Ghost.
"Homes are important." Kawe stated, a tiny bit flustered by the way Kaname had held his gaze on him. "So, Ammy, Kaname, what brought you out to the beauty of this cacophany tonight?"

Ammy smiled lightly at Kaname hearing him apologize. She understood one's need to be cautious however, and sometimes even found herself doing the same. She didn't find it surprising in the least. It was like a second nature to the Kitsutora's to be that way, espeically if they were indeed near Kaname's place of residence.
"Now, that wasn't too hard was it?" Ammy said sweetly, her voice not at all taunting or abrasive when she finally heard the kit say his name. "It's a pleasure to meet you Kaname," Ammy added. Hearing Kawe speak this time the white and red kit turned her head towards the shimering black coat beside her. "Me? Oh I was just enjoying a nice nighttime stroll. I usually don't have much time during the day," Ammy stated as she sat having grown tired of standing for so long.

Kaname gave a small smile at Kawe. "Yes, indeed. Even if the one's in your home aren't always to your liking." With that, he answered the kit's other question. "My home contains people who do not listen to me when I need my peace. So I left to relax in the night without them. And why are you out so late?" He then turned back to the other kit, offering her a short smile as well.
"It is nice to meet you to, Ammy." He then followed suit and sat down, keeping an upright posture about him. "It seems that you two are ones who enjoy the night like myself." He didn't show much emotion when saying it, as if he didn't truly care and was merely observing.

Kawe stayed standing, enjoying the feeling of the breeze ruffling his fur. "Don't I know how that feels..." He murmured, thinking of his twin, who shared the same name, but was far ruder and impolite, and so annoying. A flicker of distaste crossed his muzzle, but it was soon replaced by a small smile.
"The night is beautiful, it's song sings to my heart, the way it brushes oh so cool, across me, every part." Kawe had a habit of speaking in poetry when moved, and he was indeed moved by the beauty of the night, which he far preffered to the day, when his black coat meant he became unbearably hot.
[Ack short. Braindead, sorry.]
