The Start (Background)

A group of friends is on a road trip they are heading from Texas to California and hope to have a summer filled with teenage fun (parties, sex and drinking…none of which was know by the way by their parents) What they got was something very different form anything that was expected by them …

With their course mapped out very carefully and with the same amount of care and attention to detail these young traveler food and money had been taken in to account. It was all set up for each person to have their own adventure/wish. You see each of these eight people going on that trip had there own idea about what they wanted to do for the summer. So one of them suggested a trip to see “Colleges” and which was really to go on each adventure/wish that they each wanted. So the money was saved up the (about $4500) The G.M.C 12 passenger van that would doubled as home for them for the next 3 months, was prepped and repaired. It was in fact put in to better condition then when it had been bought back in 05 from the used car guy Cheap Chuck.

All the plans and packing were completed the night before. The eight 17-20 years-old freshly graduated young men and women are sitting in the 2000 G .M.C van that is parked in the driveway of Sam’s house. They are lessening to Sam’s parents giving her that same old lector for the thousandth time about not speeding and keeping the van on no less then a quarter tank and how every one had to bucked up at all times. It was 9:30 before the Thompson’s finally let the group get on the road. Sam smiled at her friends from the drivers seat they were about 200miles from there first planed stop and Sammie was just happy to be on the road. She did not see it…It was a warp in the dimensions. It was in the middle of the road about 40 miles up on the back road that Sam had taken…

(Now why the warp was here and why the warp opened to Corgon is still a mystery to all of them but now they are going on a different type of trip)

At the Jump
The van was running at about 55 down the back road toward what Sam and the other thought would be the first leg of there journey to California... Sam looked back at her friends and smiled. She was so excited about their trip. It was just as she looked back at the road that there van came in contact with the warp in the dimensions! It is here at their jump that there was a bright light and pain (Sam said later that the jump from one dimension to the other is like having ones skin ripped off and then put back on all at the same time) and she could here someone screaming, someone else yelling to “watch for the tree!!!” and then nothing……. She woke up sitting in the driver seat of the van. Her head felt like it was on fire. She had to blink a few times to make her eyes focus she saw that the van had run in to a tree. it was steel on and the air bag had gone off. She knew that she had a cut some where she could smell her blood but her only thoughts were for her friends so she unbuckled herself and began to check them…

Corgon
The world of Corgon is a world of half breeds, and nightmares, elves, and demons. It is where the things of this world that we think are pure fantasy are real and very dangerous. It is here that the group will end up… it is here that they must band together or never see there home again…

The landscape

Landscape is that of a forest in early spring just coming out of the morning frost when the friends awaken in the van. They are in a small rocky clearing with thick vegetation around it. The clearing looks as though it has been used for a camping ground very recently. There are what seem to be paths leading out of it in several different directions. And there is a brook near because you can hear it clearly.

Bio: Hollice jumped at the chance for this trip and wouldn’t take no for an answer when it came to her parents. Only having lived in her new town for about year or 2 hollice met everyone A little while back when she was still new to town and they welcomed her with open arms. Shes been loyal to them ever since.

She can fix almost anything… Sam and her meet in a chat room about fixing computers (Sam had the question Leena had the answer) Sam started talking to her first then it became and every day thing.They talked online and later on the phone for about two years. Leena really likes talking to Sam because Sam dose not judge she lets her talk out what ever she is feeling or going throw. Leena has never really had a friend like that. Sam told Leena about the trip to Cali and it was Leena’s idea about every one getting their own advancer. So when Sam invited Leena on the trip she had to say yes plus they had never met in person Leena lives a state over from Sam and flew in a week before the trip to stay with Sam’s family. (Leena smiled the frist time she saw Sam in person)

Alex awoke, his head pounding, he could smell the iron in his blood which was now pouring freely from a wound on his left leg where am i? what happened?he thought to himself. he looked around and noticed that he was in a clearing that appeared to have been used recently for camping. he felt different, he felt like for the first time in his life he was truly himself. then he realized that something more was different, for some reason there were feathers protruding from his back.
