THE FOREST FIELD!
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to BUG type attacks.This field also reduces damage from FLYING type attacks by 25 HP.

Zinnia walked noisily into the stadium, making sure that the large red R on her dress was visible. On her shoulder sat a gray zubat, so small that it almost blended in with her clothing. This would be Zinnia's first battle, but she was confident. After all, she was on Team Rocket! Nothing could beat that.
Zyk shifted uncertainly on his trainer's shoulder. He still was a little nervous about fighting, due to his past. He used to always get pushed around by the other zubats of his colony, but he was determined to protect Zinnia. He had to be strong.
Zinnia peered through the trees and finally spotted the trainer that was her opponent. She dramatically pointed a finger at them and chanted her challenge:
Team Rocket, the brave, the strong!
With our pokemon, we can do no wrong!
We are the toughest and the best!
In our battles, we beat the rest!
So heed these words that I say:
Give up now or you shall pay!
Zyk then flew out, ready for battle.

Today, the cubone had oddly decided to walk out to the stadium with her Watcher, Choppi. Happily wagging her tail as she marched beside the short trainer, she smiled and waved at the crowds a bit with her little paw. Choppi giggled into her hands, her blue pigtails bouncing with her movement. Hannah was getting used to the battle field. It was cute.
"Forest Stadium my dear." She smiled at her pokemon partner, and she nodded in return. They'd battled this field more than once, so perhaps it would be just the usual kind of...
Choppi paused briefly, spotting the large red R on the opposing trainers chest. It was proudly worn and displayed by members of Team Rocket. Something told her then, this was not to be the same old type of battles she and Hannah were used to fighting.
The girl was younger than her, but for that matter, looked like her! The differences besides her clothing and affiliation with the infamous group, was the confident smirk on her face. It had a hint of darkness inside it. Everyone had a twin she supposed, something about the way the world worked, but it was something that made her shiver today of all days.
"Hannah, watch your back." She knelt and whispered to her beloved cubone warrior. Then with a pat on her head Hannah hurried out onto the battlefield.

Hannah eyed the opposing trainer and zubat with extra caution, and even Choppi wasn't going to take any chances. Something about this girl, something was different. She'd seen many Rocket members before, but this one made her shiver.
"Hannah, use Rock Tomb!" Choppi called, pointing to the mad-flapping Zubat. Battling something without eyes was a little like fighting yourself blindfolded, because you couldn't read his face.
Rocks began to pile from every-which corner of the forest floor, and from their gathering point at Hannah's feet, she began to hurl them. Rock after rock was trying to pelt the bat to the floor. It was hard to aim with all the trees, but hopefully Choppi's nerves wouldn't effect Hannah's own.

Zyk was small enough to dodge most of the rocks, but it was difficult for him. He had to use echolocation in order to "see" the missiles coming, and it took time for his squeaks to bounce off of the rocks and back into his ears. Because of this, he was hit several times with rock shards, one almost knocking him out of the air.
"Grr!" Zin said loudly. "That's not fair! Zyk! Attack them with... Um... Drain... Um. Giga Drain! Beat them up!" Zinnia's ignorance and lack of experience was apparent.
Zyk shot a green beam from his mouth and onto Hannah and attempted to suck some energy out of her and back into himself.

Choppi tilted her head, listening to the opposing trainer. She...she was new to this...to battling, even her pokemon, he was evidently new. For that matter she didn't even know his basic moveset! Lips almost forming a smile, they just twiched in the end. 'I'm not counting her out. She's still a Team Rocket member.' The watcher thought to herself, eyeing the Zubat who's attack just missed.
"Hannah, go for it!" Choppi cupped her mouth so make sure her words got carried across the battle field. Hannah winked.
"Cuecue!" Her small fist gripped the bone tighter as she knocked away the energy balls from reaching Zyk. Feeling no energy truly leaving her, she sent that energy flashing suddenly into the bonemerang. It was a hard move to master, but learned it she had.
Now crackling, completely live with the power of her 'Thunder Punch' attack, the boneclub was hurled through the canopy towards the flapping opponent above. Would it strike the bat however, that was the question. Things like this were always up in the air, forgive the pun.

Zyk squeaked loudly as he was hit, then tried to fly higher. It was hard with all the trees, and he almost hit a branch once. At last, he managed to find a perch, where he clasped the thin branch with his claws. Zyk folded his wings and hung upside down, still squeaking at intervals to "watch" Hannah's movements.
"Stop that!" Zinnia said loudly. It wasn't fair! Zyk was getting hurt! They were so mean...
Not hearing a new command, Zyk shot down another Giga Drain.

The bright glowing energy reached him, without quibble from Hannah. That second try had hurt a bit, and she'd been stopped in her tracks out of just sheer suprise. Giga drain was a strange attack.
Choppi just folded her arms and watched. Hannah could take it from here, but she wanted to watch the Rocket member closely. Her long blue ponytails stuck out from her black hat, and bobbed with her every move. Choppi shook her own head, and her twin ponytails wobbled. This girl may have been different in a completely other way then she'd originally thought.
More rocks gathered back to her, and in one forced motion flew at Zyk. Another rock tomb was getting ready, just for him. Debris made their way through the air, but would they hit?

Zyk did his best to fend off the rocks, but to no avail. He felt tired already... But the energy stolen from his last attack helped a bit.
Zinnia didn't like what was happening! If only they could stop that Cubone from attacking... Oh! "Use... Um, Supersonic!"
Zyk opened his little mouth and began to emit squeaks so high-pitched and fast that it was almost inaudible to human ears. He directed these annoying sounds at Hannah and hoped that they would properly Confuse her.

The squeaks bounced back off the trees, and the sound was no more than a passing annoyance to the cubone. The forest had been too much for the zubat to compensate for in it's weakened state.
"One more time Hannah!" The rocks rolled towards her and by the time they gathered, they were in the air once more. The trees made it hard to aim, but perhaps with the skills she had, there would be no problems.

Zyk was hit hard once again. Using his remaining strength, he struggled back to Zinnia and collapsed in her arms. "Zu..." he sighed, fainting away.
Zinnia's lip trembled and tears came to her eyes. "Look what you did!" she shouted. "You big meany!" With that, the young girl fled the stadium.

Hannah came hopping back to Choppi, holding up a 'v' sign the whole while. Choppi let out a little giggle, as she patted the cubone on the head. Looking back she watched the Rocket Member flee away, and she just stared.
That was not going to be the last of her. Choppi knew it.
((I don't always. x.x I wish this battle had been longer though. XD Thanks for the fight.))
