I'm encouraging storyline ideas from the members.
Here's how it's going to work:
You the members post your ideas in this thread. If I like the idea I will discuss it with you further and hopefully it will become and official storyline for the guild.
Some things to consider:
Races involved. We want to try and involve all races, fair enough if one race can't be involved. But please try.
Can you nominate people to pioneer your storline... If that makes sense. Like with previous storylines we've had the mods kick it off. Eg - Zei 'killing' Kinikki.
Will there be a real resolve? Will it come to a clear concluision or will it be left open ended so it can be revived later on.
Has it been done? Is it predictable?
Is it plausable (I know it's a fantasy roleplaying guild, but hell.. We're not having all hell fire and damnation opening up and destroying the world.)
Does it affect the mortals? Will it lead them closer to finding out that they aren't alone in the world?
How is it going to affect the guild in general?
I'll leave the rest up to you.

OK I have a storyline I'd like to start and I need some help. New to the guild so I don't know many ppl. If you'd like to help please PM me. Moderators please let me know if this idea is sanctioned after discussion and review.
I've already requested a place for intel collection; Illusions Cafe, and have already cleared a new thread to entry; Laguardia Airport.
Here's the idea:
I want to create a NPC called "the Dragon" his stats are as follows:
Vampyre Lord: Ahmet Ra
Age: 1000 or older
Appearance: 30, very attractive (think Antonio Banderas in Interview witha vampire) long black hair, crucifix scar over his chest, 6'1" medium build body.
Powers:Can read minds, manipulate minds, call fire, wolves are his animal and minor telekenisis; summoner.
Focus: wipe out all impure immortals, lycans and humans not into the ideal of an empire of night. Wants to seal the demon doors to all demons not under his explicit control. He wants to return to the old days when one ruled all and all subjected to him. Wants to destroy all mediators of the races to start global open war and force the races into open conflict. I need moderator help or someone to play the NPC part time to help me keep the purity of the character. I don't want to be tempted to change anything for personal character glorification. He has connections with all races that believe in his cause (they think they do anyway. He has told them that he wants the annihlation of their enemy race). His idea of peace is like Hitler's. He believes that the world has become decadent and lost. He believes only under him will peace be restored. He believes he is infallible, and regards himself as the right hand of God on earth.

Storyline will be fluid. I'd like a real resolve and am looking to throw in major curves to bump up the active members and recruit new ones that will remain active. I want to change some of the mass hunter population either Lycan or Vamp to even out the race numbers. That doesn't mean it'll happen, just want to have a few change overs if Rikku and other Race leaders approve.
Has not been done before, or at least that's what I've observed by reading the threads.
Is it plausable: yes, This will take serious underground RP, trying to keep it out of the public eye as much as possible and the use of influence over mortal justice and or vamp powers to keep the events in public under subjugation, if the storyline becomes visible to non-invovled humans.
It will influence the mortals greatly if the races thru RP cannot keep it under wraps, secret and or cannot properly use the tools they have equipped themselves with. Every race will have to control their Martyrs and crazies, and try to protect their interests. Without mortals there is no food, no control, and no true power. They are the most valuable asset the races have; the pawns.
I hope to change the numbers in the guild by recruiting ACTIVE members, change the numbers in the guild for those that can change alliances (race). This will weed out the hunter population and help boost other numbers.

An unknown someone has abducted the alpha male and female's baby. For the reason, no one knows. It is possible it was a hired job.
Several small dens of lycans have been destroyed as of late, but by no plague...vampire strength has been on the rise and they are prime suspects of the kidnapping...
the hunters are getting more and more reports of dead people on the street with blood drained and some people mauled to death....which wasn't as noticable when so many were dying left and right...but more crime has immerged.....

Leon is not getting involved, in any storyline other than he's their Son. He's an NPC. I mean, for Gods sake, he's with his parents constantly or under guard. When he's with his parents, he's in Club FM. When he's with his Uncle, noone knows where the hell he is, apart from in Texas. Its a big state.
He is in no way, going to be kidnapped, murdered, affectionate with, involved with or talk to any other characters unless he's roleplayed by myself or Kinikki. Doesn't that say something to you people?

I have the urge to post something about three half breed NPCs, but since half breeds aren't allowed, I can't. T__T Maybe if Rikku says we can allow half breeds just for this?

Painfull Memories
Recent reconstruction work in parts of the city destroyed by bombs, flood and the chaos that these cause, vampires that were long ago locked inside a crypt, by old coven leaders of new york, rise. Some aging back up to a thousand years, ravenous and quite insane, they seek to destroy who they see as thair captors, the current coven, the lycans who they see as scum. The hunters would, of course, play a big part in quelling them, and if they so wished, the demons could lend a hand.
Races Involved: Everyone but demons (Nothing to stop the demons getting themselves involved, but it doesn't realy directly affect them)
Protagonists: The Elder Vamps, any vamps sired in America. NPC Ancient Vamp 'ringleaders'.
Resolve: Kill the big bad vamp the others fall in line or fall to force, so yes. Resolve.
Origional: It's based on things I've seen and heard here and there, but I don't think it's been done, here at least.
Plausibility: As far as I know it could happen. Any faults, just PM me them and I could straigten out the idea.
Mortals: Entire construction crews would go missing, and perhaps when it is all cleared up, their bloodless husks would be found in strange cryps, which have no formal place in the history of new york, the skeptics would have their theories and others will believe what they want, but there will be no hard evidence of the races, but a greater suspicion of vampires for a little while.
Guild in general: Give people a bit of combat, add a little political intrigue, spread a bit of doubt in the minds of younger vampires, doubts about their elders wisdom.

Storyline.
((Heh, heh. Don't think it's been done before, but then again i came to this guild a few months ago soo. On with it))
Lately the humans have gotten a new leader. His name is Joseph Logan. This man is running to become mayor of the city. He is a very spiritaul man that knows about the existence of vampire and lycans. But, what he dosn't tell people is that he wants them all dead. He is inciting major riot throughout the city, these people are killing any possiblie suspects. They are killing anything that is different and may be a vampire. While the army has been called in to supress the riot, it is not working and the levels of violence is rising. There have been over 100 casualties up to date and the number of recruits that Joseph has is rising.
Races Involved: All
Point of the story: To actually make the races work together for a short little while as they are all in danger.

The hunters start making their vampire kills look like lycan kills (if that's possible), trying to incite greater violence between the lycans and the vampires --after all, the best way to destroy your enemies is let them kill each other, right? Or we could have the vampires framing the hunters for lycan kills, or the lycans framing the vampires...whatever people like :3
OR we could have a small group of radical (for example) hunters framing the lycans. The point is, there's intrigue (figuring out who's behind all these killings) for those who like intrigue and violence for those who like battles. And all the races would probably get to be involved.
I honestly have no idea if there'd be any real resolve, I haven't the foggiest who might lead this, but at least there'd be plenty of action for everyone. Just throwing the idea out.

This just came to me after re-reading the homepage out of boredom. It says we would not want the FBI to investigate, well how about they do start to investigate because of somethings found by workers during the construction. Like I said I just thought of this and wanted to typ eit before it slipped my mind maybe someone can build on it maybe that is already the idea idk.

While I'm not sure how we could use the above story line as it is without everyone doing stuff to their characters, I love it so I've got a somewhat altered idea of how it could be applied to DNY. It could go something like this:
A new gov't agency is created, with the intention of covertly hunting down and destroying as many immortals as is possible. The come to NY and open war on all of us, snubbing the hunters as vigilantes, and killing anyone they can get their hands on, unless they feel information can be forcibly withdrawn from the person in question. They might also bring the Mutagenixx drug with them, however to make things a bit more interesting, it could be rather unstable and its effects somewhat erratic
Shortly after their arrival, they begin testing of the Neurostim weapon, probably on NPC's.
I don't know enough about demons to see how'd they fit it, but the threat to them being the shuting of gateways is a good idea.
Meh, this is just a thought.
