Aiko skipped through the aisles of the rather large flower shop as Emilie spoke to one of the workers for help. She had given up on asking for Aiko's opinion on things since the girl thought everything was pretty. Aiko didn't mind, they were talking about soil types and other things that Aiko wasn't that much interested in. She wanted to know about the flowers and why they were colored like they were and why did some flowers have thorns. Were the thorny plants scared? Scared they might get hurt by another plant? That didn't make it okay for them to have thorns, they could hurt somebody that didn't mean any harm!
Aiko stopped at the register at the front near the entrance. She stood on her tip toes staring at a rather plain, rather bizarre looking plant. Or, at least, in her opinion. It was tiny and in a tiny pot that Aiko really liked. It round and was close to the bottom of the tiny pot, sticking out of the soil and sprouting open like a mouth. It had two sides and there were little feelers at the end that resembled teeth which made the whole plant resemble a mouth even more. The words "Venus Fly Trap" was written on the tiny pot but Aiko couldn't read it.
Staring at it with wide fascinated pink eyes, Aiko lifted her hand and gently graced the feelers of the plant with her finger. Immediately the plant began to close and Aiko grew closer.
"Oooooooohhhhhh~!" She said as she watched it steadily close.

Yanamari yawned widely, wings drooping at the tips as she was pulled along by her sister. When they entered the store, she squinted slightly against the artificial light before amber eyes came into focus, and she found herself watching the inside of a flower shop. She blinked a couple times, curiously, before she actually started looking around at all the potted plants around the inside of the building. Her twin sister, however, was the first to go away from all of the things that were inanimate- that didn't talk or move, and chose to steer both of them toward a brightly coloured girl that made Yana's eyes hurt.
"Hi!" Persephone exclaimed happily, a bright smile on her face as she waved toward the other girl. Immediately after her twin had started speaking, Yana pouted gently and hid behind the short-haired girl, amber eyes wide and a little bit frightened. Why couldn't they have just come in to look at the flowers? It was a flower shop after all, not a daycare. It would make more sense for them to look at flowers, right?
Sephy, however, didn't seem to notice the hiding of her long-haired twin sister, given she usually hid in the presence of other people. The two hadn't been meeting enough recently, though! Maybe if Sephy started conversations with more kids their age, Yanamari might actually start talking to someone besides her. Even so, Persephone was starting to wonder if her sister had forgotten how to talk. Sephy's purple wings fluttered softly behind her as she extended a hand toward the other girl. "My name's Persephone, and this is my sister, Yanamari," she introduced the two of them, before waiting for a handshake and the girl's introduction.

Aiko was waiting patiently for the tiny plant to open again but it didn't. She stared at it for a few seconds before turning her head to see a girl about her age. She had auburn hair, amber eyes and purple wings that were rather pretty. She smiled at the girl, "Hello!" She said with a slight bounce as her tiny pink wings fluttered as a hello. The girl gave her name, Persephone, such a pretty name! And Yanamari? Aiko turned her head a little bit to see another auburn haired, amber eyed girl. She had sea green wings though that were just as pretty as Persephone's. She smiled at her and waved, "Hello to you too!" She said as she took a step to the side so she could see both of them.
She wasn't exactly sure what Persephone's offered hand meant. Aiko had seen Zach do the same thing once and the other person grabbed it and shook it. Aiko grasped Persephone's hand and shook it roughly, a smile on her face. "I'm Aiko and....this is the moving plant!" Aiko said, feeling that it was only fair that she introduce herself plus another like Persephone did. She didn't want to come off as rude.
She pointed to the tiny Venus Fly Trap in the tiny pot near the register with her free hand. She released Persephone's hand soon after and leaned up against the desk and took the plant down. She held it to Persephone and Yanamari to see. The plant slowly began to open up again.
"It's leaves look like a mouth like this." Aiko opened her mouth wide, doing her best to imitate the plant. "And then I poked it and it went like this." Aiko said with her mouth wide. She snapped her jaw shut once she was done speaking.

Sephy couldn't help but laugh when her hand was shaken roughly, but she matched the strength of the shake happily, wings fluttering a bit. At the description of the plant, her amber eyes brightened and she smiled over at it, waving a bit, but before she could say what she wanted to, her sister -quite a surprise- spoke.
"Rully...?" Yanamari replied, amber eyes wide with curiosity as she slowly crept out from behind her sister, sneaking toward the plant as though it was going to attack her. She watch patiently for the plant's mouth to open completely again, before she poked it gently with the tip of her finger. Immediately, it closed around her finger, and she squeaked happily, wings fluttering behind her and letting off a flurry of sparkles that disappeared before they hit the ground. However, as soon as she realized what she was doing, she shrunk down a bit, though she kept a smile at the cute little plant. It was quite a nice little thing, she thought.
"That's so cool!!" Persephone exclaimed in awe at the little plant, sneaking up beside her sister and standing on tiptoe to look over her shoulder, smiling at the girl who was standing in front of the two of them. "Are there any other plants who do stuff like that...?!"
