Lailah Nacht: The sky was clear and the stars and moon were bright. It was another crisp night. Lailah's breath could be seen slipping out of her lips and into the air where it would dispirse. Her wings stretched out and then folded down against her sides. As she moved along the pathway the night was silent, only a few crickters off in the distance. She hadn't been able to learn how to fly.. well she never flew as a foal and now...Shaking her head she looked over toward the river.

Vatican: Vatican looked out over the land before returning his gaze to the sky. The night goddess was happy and she showed it through her cloud less sky. Shaking his head slightly Vatican moved throught the woods heading towards the closest clearing his movements slowy made to streach his muscles. An extremely rude heathen bear had taken over his normal day time cavve and the one that he had spent his time in had been ratehr cramped. But it had kept him from the horrid light of day. Blood red eyes blinking Vatican let out a slow breath before stepping into the clearing letting the moon light wash over him, he turned his face skyward murmuring a soft greeting to the night goddess moon companion.

Lailah Nacht: It was jsut after that the stallion emerged Lailah was moving closer. Her ears finally taking in the distant sound of anothers movements. She raised her head to see if she could tell who... Well did it really matter? She hadn't really met anyone around here yet... She had always been moving but soemthing pulled her to that river spot. The clearing was a decent size, she closer to the stranger then she had thought, enough for her to speak and him to hear... She wondered if she should take he rleave for another field... but it was as she drew closer she saw his eyes at the sky. Maybe he was worth trying to talk too. "It's a lovely evening, yes?"

Vatican: Vatican turned his gaze to the direction in which the other's voice had come from. Smiling softly he nodded slightly. " The night goddess is very pleased she has made her sky unclouded with worries" Licking his fang Vatican glanced skyward again. He wondered if this was yet another heathen so many seemed to have no idea of the church of the eternal night but it mattered not he would change that soon enough. The night goddess was well deserving of the praises she gathered and if he could bring her even more then she would reward him later.

Lailah Nacht: She raised a brow, ehr ears twitching as she listened to him. Her silver eyes watching his body. "The night goddess?" She repeated and smiled a little, to looks up. "Certianly one way to look at it." She herself had never given the night a gender or being form. So it intriqued her that another did. Though the look about him was something itneresting in itself. She tossed her long and heavy mane

Vatican: Vatican nodded once again. A heathen.. Atleast this one sounded semi interested. " Years and years ago both soquili and two leggers believed in many gods and goddesses ruled over the lands. There were gods and goddes for everything. From the daylight to the night sky from the summer to the winter and every thing else inbetween. And not in lands were the gods or goddess the same some lands had the same gods or goddess with different names or one land would have a night god not goddess. Now many it seems have forgotten the old ways. Back then many did believe in more than one god or goddess but dedicated themselves to one above all else. I am dedicated to the night goddess and her eternal night"

Lailah Nacht: Lailah let her eyes glance to the side as the stallion spoke. It was nothing like she had ever heard before. Or was it? Was it something that she should be itnerested in? But the more she listned, the more she turned to look at him, and the more it seemed familar. She pushed her hoof into the ground alittle, trying to figure out where exactly it was that she heard it but... she knew it wasn't all that new. "Oh I see. That does make alot of sense. And the lands had the same being, but different names because of a langauge barrier yes?" She asked him, the metal circlet on her tial would shimmer for a momenet as she moved her tail so she didn't step on it.

Vatican: " In some cases yes it was the language barriers some time it was simply to lands grew to not liking each other and one changed the named of the god or goddess to better aplease their god or goddess over the land they disliked." Tilting his head foward quickly Vatican flipped his hat and mask off catching it before it hit the ground. Shaking the hat slightly to get any wrinkles from his fabric mask the stallion turned his head reaching behind him to set the hat and mask on a the set of spikes coming from his back.

Lailah Nacht: Lailah blinks at him and nodded some. Lands that grew to dislike eachoher. It was such a horrid idea and thought, but it happened.. and many thought it wasbetter that way. She smiled with a soft sigh, watching his little trick with the hat. There was something jsut a bit creepy when it hung it off the spikes on his back and she shook her head some. "I see... It;'s a shame such things had to happen... It oeuld have been nice to hear the orginal named."

Vatican: Vatican sighed softly giving a small nod." Now there are so many different names for the night goddess Zoeya Vechemyaya, Zorya Polunochnaya, Nott, Kuk or Kauket, Breksta, Nyx, Ratri and so many from other landy and that is not even the male forms of the night goddess."

Lailah Nacht: "Thats a real shame..." She shook her head some and looks up. "I think there should be one name... But you know.. thats just wishful thinking. "She glanced at him. "So then, I take it that you worship her? The night goddess?"

Vatican: " Yes I worship the night goddess. And yes it would be nice if she had one name had one name to call her at all times.: Glancing skyward Vatican sighed softly. " the night has always been good to me since I... Eh she has always been good no matter what changes my life has brought"

Lailah Nacht: She leanred forward to graze at some of the grass, falling silent. It had to have been nice to alteast have somethingto beleive in.. She didn;'t have anything like that. Maybe itwas time for her to find things to start having faith in... She swallowed what she grazed on before she tossed her mane from her face. "How does one come to beleive in this kind of thing?"

Vatican: " For each its different I believe. The night has always been good to me but long ago being my change, I was not based in dedication to one god or goddess. But now that I have stayed and watched her beauty I could not see any other to believe in"

Lailah Nacht: Lailah nodded some; and sighed a little. Well she figured it was then something she would haveto go and look into herself, but she didn;t know anyone that could help her. She watched him for a few minutes in the moonlight... Was it ironic? The first person she really met might change her entire way of thinking?

Vatican: " There are other of course who worship the night goddess and live in the day lightl Each case it different in its own way. And each reason for one following a different god or godess is different for their own personal reasons

Lailah Nacht: She nodded at him some and laughed a little. "Well to each their yes? I'll have to look into this more. It's very interesting. I'm afriad I know very little. Though I think When i was younger this elder would talk about them... but i was so young then... I can't really remember a thing."

Vatican: Nodding Vatican glanced around. Before shaking is head in a slight disguest. " Do excuse me mad'am I have been rather rude this fine night. I am known as Vatican. And the night goddess is always for more to join the shadows of her eternal night."

Lailah Nacht: She smiled at him. He certianly talked as if he were a creature of the night. She boxed gracefully to him. "I'm Lailah Nacht. It'sa pleasure to meet you, and your goddess." She smiled again before standing back up. "You are a very interesting individual."

Vatican: " Its come from a long life of being interesting places. Lailah meaning night or born at night in muslim and Nacht german for night yes? The name is very befitting you reflect the night goddess at her greatest."

Lailah Nacht: Lailah tilted her head some a blush coming to her cheeks from the compliment, not that he could see through the black pelt. She looked over at him and nodded some. "Mhmm... thats right." The idea of that made her wonder if this was fate in itself. "Its a strange cionsidence, is it not?"

Vatican: "Cionsidence or fate one can never tell with the gods and goddess they do things very different and for the oddest reasons." A light smirk played across Vatican's face nothing more than a soft whisper but the small action exposed his fangs more than he normally did on his own.

Lailah Nacht: She nodded at him a little. "That makes alot of sense.. its in own way." She laughed some and then her silver eyes caught the fang, and she raised a brow some. "Interesting things indeed..." She looked around them to see if anyone else was near by. "Do you mind my asking, what brings you here?"

Vatican: " I usually spend my days in a set of caves. " Turning himself Vatican pointed in the direction he had come through the forest. " Just beyond the forest that way. This past morning when I went to the cave i normally spend my days in I found a rather rude bear heathen in it and could not get him to leave so I had to move into a smaller cave to spent the day and after such a long time my muscles needed a stretching."

Lailah Nacht: She nodded at him a little and laughed softly. "Oh goodness.. well bears do tend to spend more time in the caves thaen I would think a horse would... but.. seeing asyou don't seem to like the sun a cave is suiting." She shook her head taking note ofhte caves.

Vatican: "The sun is rather harmful to me at times. And caves are the best place to get away from sunlight during the day time. I can stand the light for small amounts of time during both dawn and dusk but not even a bear could force me from a cave in full day light."

Lailah Nacht: She blinked at him and raised her head and shook it. "Thats good to know. So never visit in the day time. Got it." She smiled at him a little. "Its a bit of a shame... though; there are some lovely things in the day light."

Vatican: " They are still there during the night time"
