Wait, what? They're doing a fourth one?? eek
Well, considering how popular the movie series is, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised...

Any word on what the storyline is? If it follows Will or Elizabeth, I think I'll cry. Although one on Barbossa would be ok, if done right. And that be a big if

If they did one that focused mostly on the secondary characters (who I actually better than the main people for the most part) it might be alright, yes.

Zephyr wants one without Will Turner or Elizabeth, cause they've killed their own roles by now! As long as it doesn't have them as big characters in the new one, Zephyr will be happy! Oh! And as long as it's not all about their kid! That'd be so LAAAAAME!

Whether we like it or not, he's gonna be a major part of the story.

It wouldn't necessarily have to be bad, but, well, this is Hollywood we're talking about-- and I can just picture them handling the whole thing so poorly it'd make you want to cry. neutral

Melnoli I'm still holding out hope that it'll move AWAY from the will-elizabeth storyline....but I think it's just a fool's hope! A fool's hope is better than no hope. Besides, fools are the people that really get anything done around here... I personally, think they should have left it at three movies, but since it is Disney, they must milk the idea for every last cent it's worth and completely kill, mangle, and maim what started out as a good series. They should definitely turn away from the Will/Elizabeth storyline, though. It would be interesting if they made a "prequel" of sorts about Sparrow/Barbossa/ and Becket.

And anyway, "liked the best" is usually pretty relative in my case (since I hate most movies-- even the ones that I'll admit are pretty good.)
