Winter Frost was playing outside in her favortvie weather. The snow. She was as happy as a munk could be. She rool around and toss the snow up in the air. But one thing was on her mind that mad her feel sad.
"Oh, Wouldn't be just lovely, if someone like the snow as much as me. Not many munk come out in this weather to play. It so lonely."she said with a broken smile.

The snow was gently settling into nice piles all around the forest. Burying the forgotten leaves, as it was transforming the land into a wonderland of white. Fai was at home in this cold, his warmer-than usual chipmunk coat kept him toasty. Ears perking up, he snuggled into the nearest mound of the white stuff. He was so happy right then.

Winter Frost look around when she heard something move. "Hmm, It must just be the wind. No one would be out here expect the munk that like snow and there not a lot of them. Well I guess I should go back to my tree since it no fun when there none else out here." She said
She started to scamper of until she didn't notice Fai and fell on top of him.
She look up and saw him. "Oh my, Another munk here, this is a shock! I'm really sorry the I fell on top of you."she said with a soft caring smile

Fai looked up at her with one eye closed, snow all over his face. Giving a small smile he shook the snow off his head, he chuckled. "It's alright my dear." Fai couldn't help but be amused by seeing another out in the snowy weather. Usually everyone hibernated around this time, he never was one to worry about it though.
"What are you up to out here all by yourself. You should be asleep, and inside." He tilted his head in question at the munk, who seemed to be dressed for the weather oddly enough.

She giggle, she was just thinking the same thing. "How could anyone sleep in weather like this! I love it out here. I come out here everyday by myself to play in it, but it get kinda lonely because no one else is out here with me.." she said sadly.

Fai's eyes seem to fade a bit back into memories as he nodded at her. "I know what you mean, all too well." Then after a moment he shot her a smile once again. "My name is Fai. What's yours?"

Winter look into his eyes as he gaze back into his memory. She stare in them knowing like what was going through his mind. Winter tilt her head poleity smile back at him. "Oh! What a fun name! Dose it mean anything."she said giggle. She love his name it was so fun to say and she love fun. "My name is Winter Frost, but you can call me Winter, but if you don't like winter you could call me Frost, or both if you like.
She was full of energy now because she found someone that was out in the snow just like her. She couldn't take it anymore and had to ask. "Will you marry me and then we can play all day long!"she said giggling.

Fai smiled at her and let a chuckle slip out. "Miss Frost, while I have to decline your offer of marrage..." Slowly he stood and snow fell off him, revealing his ice spiked tail. "...I can comply with your offer to play."
Then, digging his paws into the white fluff, Fai took off across the snow. "Race you to the frozen pond!"

Winter started to tear up a bit. "Oh but...." but before she could get all of her though out he was running to the pond. Winter forgot all about that and ran after him. No way was a guy going to beat her.
"Oh, you better be pretty fast to beat me Fai!"She ye
all as she caught up with him.
"See! I'm great at running in the snow! That all I do."she said as she pass him.
She giggle, her competitive side was getting to her and was not letting go.
She ran to the pond and touch it. She started to giggle.
"See, I told you!"she said as she got a pile a snow and threw it up it the air!
"Whoo! This is soo much! I haven't had this much fun since I was a little."she said with a big smile.

He had to admit that Frost seemed like she could last in the snow, the cold not really effecting her. Hopping over a snowdrift with ease, Fai landed on the ice, skidding out further onto the flat expanse. "Want me to teach you to make a figure eight, Frost?" His ears perked up a bit at her enthusiasm in the snowy wonderland. Fai wagged his chipmunk tail a bit, and slipped more off onto the slick surface. Ice was fun.

Winter jump up and down when she saw him on the ice. "O, that look like so much fun Faifai!"she said giggle
"Oh may I call you that Faifai?"she said throwing up more snow. She jump up and hop onto the ice. "Wheee! Come! come! Show me please."She said as she trip over herself. She giggle. "I'm not to use this things!"he said as she trip again. "I'm more use to the snow!"she said giggling again! she trip and flop onto her butt and slid on her rump. "oo this is fun!"she said giggling again.

Fai looked at her with uneasy eyes. Ice could be dangerous, she needed to be careful. "You can call me that I suppose, just please..." He skated closer and steadied her a bit. "Be careful, ice is wonderful, but also dangerous."
The cold water below wouldn't hurt him with his thick fur, as much as it woul hurt Frost. Once she was steadied, Fai slid back a few steps.
"Now, put your paws apart from each other, and balance!" He demonstrated. "Like this! Easy."

"Oh thank you Faifai!"She said as she giggle.
"Ok! I'll be extra careful, Faifai."She said. She just love saying his name and try to said it as much as she could.She put arm out unsteady but did just as he did.
She skate a little and giggle. "Oh this is soo much fun! Faifai!"she said. She skate over to him and held both his paws. "Please teach me more. Faifai. Please, I would love it so much."she said.
She blush and look like a pink rose. She had never held hand with a guy before and started to giggle.

Having all four paws on the ice now, Fai skated a bit from side to side around her. "Take your time Frost. Watch your steps, and keep the movements fluid."
Leaning gracefully from side to side, he easily turned a few circles into a marked '8' on the ice. Claws of the chipmunk helped of course, being such light creatures.
"You try."

She giggle. "Ok, Faifai, I will do just as you do!"she said smiling. She drop down onto her four paws and wobble. "O, this is going to be hard."she squeak. She shiver in fear because she never been on ice before with all four paws. "Um, ok...I think i got....it."she said. She was very frightened but move around in a circle digging her claws into the ice. "Look Faifai I got i..." before she finish her though the ice gave away. She drop into the water because of the circle she had made. She splash and kept moving her arm around failing. She hate the water and didn't know how to swim. "Faifai Please...."she said in faint voice before she went under again taking in more water. She bobbed up again and yell"Faifai, please help!"as she went under again.
