You know, when you think about it, things in the store are moderately priced. Most expensive item is 40k which is pretty easily obtainable. You could probably go for getting 2k a day for a month and you'd get it.
The reason why OMFG, Penguin Slippers, Chain Wallets and etc. cost so much is because they're donation items or they're rare items that you get from events. They're in limited quanity and the older they are the more in demand they are when more people join Gaia. And the price for those items are not determined by Gaia Online's Admins or Mods, but by people like you and me.
Isn't Free Market Economics grand?
