This thread is basically a place where you meet someone to help you learn a new language in exchange for teaching your language. It's a great opportunity to not only learn a new language and meet someone new, but to help with your social skills as well as teaching/learning skills.
So, first you would post in the thread what your native language(s) are and what language(s) you wish to learn.
Then someone will find you who wants to learn your native language and you teach each other and hopefully become friends, too!
Sorry if that doesn't make sense, but hopefully you'll get the gist. wink

Basically the same as English, right? Except with a few differences... What are some of the basic rules? Haha, sorry for the load of questions, haha. Hilf mich?~ ~Noir PS - I'm UBER-jealous you live there! I've always wanted to visit Germany (TwT) ~ and live there. Hahaha.

Salut! Je m'appelle Lexa et je sais beacoup *<----spelling.....* Anglais et je sais un peu Francais. Je suis triste, mon ecole.....uh....*yeah my spelling is atrocious so I'll just jump to English*
Hi! I'm Lexa. Yeah, obviously I speak English better than French. I'm currently learning french at school, this is my third year but I'm sad because my school doesn't offer it next year, so I am hoping to take concurrent enrollment next year. Anyway, yeah I absolutely suck at spelling but I can speak much better than I spell, in French anyway. I'm hoping to learn a lot more french and perhaps study abroad during college. Or something like that.....I'm just barely figuring out the accent marks on my keyboard so until then just bear with it. If anyone can help me with French *since my spelling sucks.....* let me know!

I'm happy to see people have been posting! biggrin
I think maybe I should say what languages I wish to learn/am learning/speak.
So the language I'm fluent in is English, I speak (and use) British English. I speak French at a secondary school level (I learnt it for 3 years). I know a little German, Dutch, Spanish, and Portuguese, but I don't know much.
I'm currently learning Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean. I'd like to relearn French.
