Wasn't he also the one who made some particuarly disgusting racial remarks about african-americans and fried chicken while Hank Aaron was working for ted Turner?

Couldn't say if it was him, but if my memory's right, I wouldn't be surprised if he was that guy.
Oh well, the HoF is there to celebrate the wrestler, not the man. (If only they could see it like that for Chris Benoit)

I think it was, I remember reading about it in at least Ric Flair's book and I think Jericho mentioned it in his. I'm just hoping someone can confirm or deny this for me so I do know who it was behind this legendary (and funny as hell) story
And I agree on your last comment, despite how he spent the last few days of his life, Benoit was an awesome wrestler and should be respected for at least that

ยค It'd be hilarious if Vince canceled his invite because he made this public.

I dont think that would be funny at all. The HOF is about the persons contribution to wrestling not their personal life. I agree that I wish they would see that for Benoit, who more than deserves it.

WTF has he done for wrestling?

Let's just hope they settle the score this year and induct more people who actually did something for wrestling. As I think of it, there could easily be Lance Storm, Terry Funk, Trish Stratus, Yokozuna, Bam Bam Bigelow, Davey Boy Smith, The Road Warriors, Ted DiBiase and suchin the HoF. I just hope to see at least 2 of those I mentioned in the HoF.
