Have you tried google video? When you download the available ones, they won't be in .avi format, but in mp4...
You could try vixy.com to download youtube videos...though it somehow seems to not work on my computer at the moment - for some strange reason.. :S
Or you could try limewire...or eMule. They're good at downloading things but takes some time. Or you can try and download/install bit torrent, and download the desired torrents and 'unzip' them to watch them later..
