I was wondering if anyone had advice on cosplaying as a Dragon Knight character. I'd like to be Raseleane, but because in Dragon Knights, no one really has a set outfit, it's a little tricky to make the right costume that relates to that character.
stare Everyone is always getting new outfits. If anyone could suggest a particular dress of Raseleane's that'd be wonderful.

Okay, say I did have a Thatz costume... would anyone even recognize it? I wouldn't mind doing it, though.

Well, when I cosplayed as Thatz, very few people recognized me, much to my extreme dismay. But I went in his first outfit (seen in books 1-3). I decided on that one since 1) it was easy 2) he was in it for the longest period of time (at the time I made the costume) 3) it was early on in the series.
I should have pictures around here somewhere, if people are interested in seeing.
twisted Oh, though I did carry around a sack with Nadil's head in it.

=D I'd LOVE to cosplay as Nadil! I even like his clothes. >w> Gimme some of hsi wardrobe! XD;;;; And Cesia and Shyrendora's, of course.
Come to think of it... I DID sew a skirt that Raseleane once had, in the book where she, Ruwlak and Alfeegi first find that shrine/tomb beneath the Dragon Castle. >.> Well, ALMOST liek it. XD Because I couldn't do that part that looked like metal work so I did an easy, high/long waist instead. ^^

Because I remembered you'd left some pictures in another guild of DK (not sure if it fanwork or not). So maybe that's why you can't remember which thread it is, it's on the wrong guild. Oh, I wanna see pixs too!! mrgreen

My one big problem with Dragon Knights is a lot of th characters kind of look th same... (at least, when they are drawn without color on the page). And also, yeah, no one would recognize me if I went as one of the characters ^^; My friend went as Thatz once, and the only one that knew who the heck she was, was me.

Actually, it only held cotton that I stuffed it with. Easier than trying to get a severed head (or roast beef, for that matter) xd *thinks of all the annoying otaku who invade AZ* Actually, maybe it wouldn't be that hard to get a severed head. No one would miss a stray annoying fanboy. twisted twisted And Kamikits, I certainly don't remember seeing any pictures.

Fanboy? It wasn't even fangirls? Oh god I pity you, it must have been awful.
XD But somehow I think it a bit impossible for you, Koneko-chan to chop somebody's head off. *thinks of herself dressed as Nadil holding a big sword* .... Er, ok... I'm dead meat but that thought continued on to me chopping off KHarl's head... (I did have purple colored hair and red linses though) Don't ask me what that thought came from... I like Kharl. >.>;;;;
(back on topic) *thinks* Raseleane isn't seen so much in the later volumes... Unless you want to make it easy for yourself and trip around in her nightgown. XD Hahaha! So I would suggest a dress from the earlier books, but nothing too hard. Damn it that I'm not at home, I left most of my DK manga at home.

Maaan, I'd love to cosplay DK ... but for one thing, most of the costumes are kinda complicated. And no one would recognize it ><
You would really think DK would be more popular ....
