Well, now that I finally have Photoshop back- and have resumed using that blessed program xd - I will be posting some of my work here. I've always enjoyed using Photoshop, and I will tell you that everything that I do is done in PS7.0. All effects, distortions and editing of arts that I happen to have is done with it. Again, though, this is only going to be where I place some of my artwork. If there is something that you'd like to see me try, let me know.

Well, here's the first bit of work that I've done. I actually started this last night, and I think it took me something like 3 hours to do the whole thing- including over an hour of aggravation to get the head copied due to PS trying to do something while I was in the middle of selecting it. Anyways, if you click on the picture itself, it will link you to a larger version of it- though it still isn't the full size (which is 1440x900). The weird triple-triangle thing that I have in the upper-left and lower-right corners are out of Northern European mythos; they are call valknutr, which, translated, means "knot of the slain warriors" and is one of the symbols for the god Odin, also known as the All-Father. If you want to know more about them, look it up on Wikipedia. The symbols in the upper-right corner are Norse runes; the name of each room is underneath the corresponding symbol. Another thing that I noticed with the picture is that the creature in the bottom-left of the picture only has one eye exposed (the right eye). In Norse mythology, Odin pulled out one of his eyes for the sake of gaining more wisdom, and it's usually depicted as being the left eye.

Well, this one originally started out as something that could be used for a signature, but- as I found out after I finished it and had it uploaded- Gaia's TOS state that signatures can't be any bigger than 500x500 pixels, and this runs at 600x250. I'll be condensing it some soon so that it fits, but I still like this one enough to get it posted here as well.

Also, since Josh has asked me to make a banner for the Fangs, I should be getting to work on it fairly soon. If I remember, I'll be looking around for some kind of decent image to base the rest of it around; hopefully, that will be the longest part of the short job. I'll edit this post once I actually get started with it, and post the finalized image once dealt with.

Finally, after a VERY long wait, I've opened Photoshop back up for uses other than saving high-quality screenshots from Oblivion.
Here's what I've done so far tonight (and if it stretches the page, I do apologize; I accidentally overwrote the original file, and I don't want to upload it to Photobucket right now to mess with it):  Basically, these were done because I wanted something else for the image on my MSN. While it's only temporary (and quite simplistic) it was basically me messing around with different filters in Photoshop using one, standardized brush across the whole thing. The face that was created was purely accidental, but I liked it enough to not distort it at all. The second one, by the way, is the one that I re-sized for use on my MSN account.
I'll probably get to work on coloring in a picture for Josh here pretty soon once I make sure that it's the type that he was looking for.

Unfortunately, the image that I want to update this thread with will cause the page to stretch unless your monitors are set at at least a 1024x768 resolution. Assuming, however, that most people use the standard 800x600 on their computers, I won't be posting the actual image to avoid the risk of stretching the page; instead, I'm supplying you with a link to the image. There's another image that I'm working on finishing up, but I won't be posting it due to the content (though I may post a link to my DeviantArt account soon so you can take a look anyways; I just won't be posting any direct links to the image as a safeguard against violating the ToS, though I'm fairly certain that even a direct link wouldn't violate it).
EDIT: I decided to use the "thumbnail" image that DeviantArt provides to post it, so the link at the bottom of this post will be replaced by that instead.
Anyways, for a quick description of it before I actually give you all the link, I did not draw this! It is a work that I had commissioned based off of the avatar that I had submitted into the Avatar Arena at the beginning of the year. The same artist (MistressMatsumi here on Gaia, for those of you curious about it) did some art for my girlfriend- that's the one I'm still working on coloring- and I decided to ask her to do this piece for me. She accepted, and the art turned out incredibly well, I think; bear in mind, though, that I did have one artist turn it down because the idea behind it disturbed her. The title of the art should tell you why as long as you take it literally- all I can say is if you are easily offended or the idea behind it disturbs you as it did the first artist I tried to commission, don't click the link. I'll be commissioning her again, for sure, most likely to do my character Eliae for Josh's RP here (which I'll probably end up having a "Gaia-safe" copy for).
Without any further delay, here's the linkimage to The Devourer of Children.  Again, I'll most likely be posting a link to my DeviantArt account sometime in the near future, most likely once I get at least the art that I'm still coloring finished, though I may wait until I have one more done as well.
Unless one of the images ends up violating Gaia ToS (and some of what is allowed on DeviantArt can), I'll be posting images like this from now on.

Alright. I used the picture that I'd last posted here to make a background (after removing the white space, of course). I also ended up having to edit the other picture that I'd been coloring and switched out the images to conform with their ToS as well; aside from that little bit that I had to modify, the drawing was otherwise safe for Gaia. Seeing as how that ended up working out, I'll be posting "thumbnails" of both in this post to link you to the full-size images.
EDIT: Only the background will remain up due to safety measures being taken by Matasoga and I.
Though I know that the background isn't quite as extreme as my last one- not nearly so, in fact- but I was really wanting something else for my background and that image didn't seem to really need a whole lot for it to still look good. All of the colors used for the background, by the way, are all colors used on the art itself.
Also, I can't recall if I'd mentioned this before, but I'd be more than happy to make a background, signature or banner for one of you without any problems. All you have to do is ask.
First, the background, which was given the same name as the art that was used with it:  And now, the other image that I'd colored, named "Pet Spork," as that's who commissioned MistressMitsume to do the art:

Nice work, just as I said before...I hate to be the one to ask you, for as anyone can tell you, few people detest censorship more than I, but for the sake of the safety of the guild, I feel that I am forced to ask that you increase the size of the white circle. It would probably be best were the whole hand concealed. Additionally the mouth...The breasts, while concealed still...As much as I hate to do it, I think I may have to take this one down, but I encourage you to talk with me later about how we make it a little more bullet-proof.
To reiterate, I detest having to censor you but I would hate even more to have the guild disabled over this.

Hrmmm... Well, I find it unfortunate that it needed to be pulled, and I detested censoring as much as I did as it is. Nevertheless, I'll not be questioning your decision, as you're probably a bit more familiar with the ToS than I. I am, however, going to note that I'll most certainly be reluctant to censor it anymore already. Though I placed a strike-through over it in the first post, I suppose now would be as good a time as any to once again say that it may be a better idea for me to post a link to my account as long as that, too, won't be a violation of ToS.
