"Daddy, where are we going?" Lironax asked his adoptive father as the pair walked up the stairs to the large apartment building that was so much prettier than the one they lived in. The toddler toyed with the strap of the raggedy backpack Silas had given him, filled with some of his clothes, his toothbrush, and his teddy bear. He looked around in mild amazement when the two entered the lobby, delighted by all of the fancy stuffs that were glittering around. Smiling broadly, he looked back up at Silas. "Is dis Rusha, Daddy? Do we get to shtay here?"
Silas, who had been reading a directory kind of thing on the wall, glanced down at the toddler in mild surprise, then chuckled and shook his head. "No, Lir, this isn't Russia. But you are going to stay here for a little bit. Just until I get back though. C'mon, it's this way." He took his son's hand again and lead him to a posh-looking elevator, pressing the button for the fourth floor as he did so.
Lir was confused by his father's answer, and frowned slightly before asking another question hesitantly. "But-but... if Daddy hasta go to Rusha... and I gotta stay here.. and here isn't Rusha..." The boy blinked and looked up at Silas with frightened eyes, suddenly just realizing a terrifying possibility. "Daddy, am I gonna be alone 'till you gets back?!"
To his son's mild consternation, Silas chuckled again and shook his head. "No, Lir, you won't be alone. Listen, you remember your friend Adhi, right?" Lironax smiled broadly and nodded, wing fluttering happily. "Well, she and her dad live in this apartment building, so you're going to stay with them until I get back. Is that okay?" Like he had predicted, Lironax was delighted with this news, and bounced lightly up and down on his heels, suddenly all smiles.
The two exited the elevator, and after a brief stint of being lost in the corridors of the building, they finally were standing in front of the By'arre apartment. Or at least, that's what Silas had said. Lir looked up with wide eyes as his father bent down. "Remember your manners, okay? We don't wanna cause them trouble, right?" Lir nodded sharply in reply, and stood expectantly as his father knocked on the door a few times. "Hello? Anyone home?"

A harsh growl sounded from the small boy that had only been living in the apartment for a few days now, after being at Guinevere's house for a full week. It seemed that he didn't like it much here, and especially didn't like the fact that Noah was trying to make him behave properly. He did behave!! He just wanted things. A lot of things. All the time. As such, at lunch that day, he'd practically been eating off Adhara's plate the entire time, even after being repeatedly scolded by Noah, himself. Father? Puh. This man was most certainly not his father. They didn't look at all alike, and he knew at least a little bit about the way reproduction worked.
"NO!!" the child shrieked shrilly, taking the shirt Noah had tried to get on him and throwing it into a pile of shirts that he would probably try to make something out of. Or he could just hoard them... Noah growled under his breath, rubbing his temples irritably.
"Aludra, please. Can you at least get dressed? We're expecting company today and-" That was when Noah was hit in the face with both Aludra's pants and his underwear. Oh, it was stress through the roof now, though that wasn't very abnormal. "Aludra!!" He got up and tried to race after the boy. However, with the spawn springing forward on four legs, he was quite a bit faster than Noah was.
Adhara, for once entertaining herself with a book, since her reading ability seemed to have gotten better after her growth spurt, looked up at the knocking. She blinked a couple times, before shrugging a bit and opening the door, smiling brightly at the sight of Lironax once again. However, his father was... someone she was a little worried about... seeing. She pet Niita, trying to keep that tentacle occupied, while Reena was holding her place in the book. "Good to see you again, Lir. And, um, Lir's dad," she said awkwardly, smiling a bit.
"My dad's just trying to get Aludra ready, but-" She was going to finish with 'I don't think it's going to well'. Unfortunately, that was rather obvious when the toddler sprinted down the stairs on all fours, stolen halo in his mouth, skidding to a stop and still managing to run into the back of Adhara's legs. The pre-teen sighed softly. No doubt the pair would be gone in an instant, now.

Lironax blinked confusedly at the pretty young woman who had opened the door to the apart-a-ment. That didn't look like Adhee or a daddy at all. However, when he caught sight of the two tentacles and the big wings, he finally realized that this was Adhara. She had just gotten really pretty all of a sudden. Smiling broadly, he hugged her around the thighs, which was where he could reach on the girl right now. "Wow, Adhee, yoo got a lot bigger! And rully, rully pretty, too!"
Silas, who had been busy gaping at the now-with-curves version of the bright little girl he had met just recently, nodded slightly at his son's statement. He regained his thought process quickly, however, and smiled gently at Adhara. "You can call me Silas, Adhara. It's fine." He blinked in confusion at the mention of an Aludra, as he had never heard of anyone by that name. "Wait, who's Alud-"
But his question was answered prematurely by the sight of a small naked child darting on all fours, rather like a dog, and hitting the back of Adhara's legs, a halo in his mouth. Silas' eyebrows raised at this, but chose not to comment. It was certainly weird, but this was the single place he could leave Lironax where he was sure nothing... too bad would happen to him. Glancing down at his son, he rolled his eyes and batted him very softly on the head. "It's not nice to stare, Lir. Hey, wait, Lir!!"
For even as Silas has reprimanded his son, Lironax had scooted through the door and walked around to stare at the boy with the halo. He looked at his pink hair and horns curiously for a moment, before remembering his manners and holding out his hand. "Hi dere. I'm Lironax, but yoo can call me Liron. You're 'Ludra, right? I like your pretty lil' ring-fing."
Silas sighed and grumbled to himself, then looked up and smiled ruefully at Adhara. "Well, that takes care of that, I guess. Where's your dad? I have to talk to him for a bit."

Adhi smiled at the slow recognition of the pair, surprised that she had really changed so much. She felt a faint flush rise to her cheeks at the compliment given to her by the little boy, Reena and Niita wrapping around him to hug him back, given they were closer than her arms were. She gently patted the little boy's head with one of her hands, before her attention was grabbed once again by Silas. She winced at the child who crashed into her legs, Reena and Niita easily letting go of Lironax now that they'd decided he was too young to grope at as of now. "Actually, um, Aludra is my little brother," she said with a faint smile. "The Facility basically forced him on my godmother when Noah- er, daddy was out of town. So... he came home with us." She chuckled lightly. Honestly, though, the child had been wreaking havoc. At least it gave her something to do at night, though- clean. And clean. And clean.
The only reply that Lironax received at first was a glare from those bright green eyes, teeth biting down on the halo in his mouth, wincing when it hurt his teeth. He looked the other toddler over, before he slowly stood up, tipping his head at the other as his tail flicked from side-to-side curiously. "Mine..." he murmured softly at the comment about the 'ring', after removing it from his mouth and clinging to it tightly. That was when Noah appeared, right after 'the nick of time', as usual.
"Aludra..." he mumbled tiredly, holding both the pants and underwear atop his head for the time being, until he noticed that they had company. Immediately, he dropped his hand, still holding said clothings, and then went down the steps to his son, grumbling a bit irritably as he pulled the boy's pants on after his underwear. Right as Aludra was about to tear them off again, he made a gesture for him to wait a moment. "Aludra? If you keep your clothes on all night, then I'll buy you a new toy tomorrow, alright?" he bribed the little boy, who glared up at him, arms crossed, before looking away in defeat. Bribery worked quite well on the little Greed demon...
"Oh, Silas, right?" Noah asked nervously as he stood back up, walking to the door and offering a hand to the... boy? Brown eyes blinked a couple times as the man took in everything about the kid who looked like he couldn't even be past his teen years. Trying to ignore that as well as the weird appearance of the other, he continued with speaking. "You needed to speak to me?"

Silas raised his eyebrows at Adhara's explanation, surprised that the Facility would be.. allowed to do that. That is, it was obvious that the By'arres would be able to take care of another child, if the state of their living quarters was anything to go by. It just seemed like a cold thing to do. But then, the Facility had never really been the homiest of places, so he simply shrugged and rolled his eyes. "Geez, I bet that went over well."
By chance, as he rolled his eyes, the young man caught sight of an older man, allegedly Noah, with... Oh. That's where Aludra's pants were. The sight was ridiculous, and he covered his mouth as he smirked, especially once Noah realized he was there. Silas watched with an amused expression on his face as the older man dressed the little hellion, but quickly tried to disguise it as he was offered the hand, which he shook politely.
"Yup, that's me. Nothing too important; just some stuff about Lir. He has this obsession with being able to fly, you see, even though... well, he obviously can't. So one of his past-times is... eh..." Silas trailed off a little here, trying vainly to think of a way to make it sound less weird than it was, until he gave up and continued. "Jumping off of things. Anything he really can. So, just watch him and get him down if he's too high, alright?"
Meanwhile, Lironax was a little scared by the growl his polite introduction recieved, and stood back a little as 'Ludra's daddy came and dressed him. Reflexively, his tentacle rummaged inside the backpack and drew out his bear, clinging to it tightly. Once Noah had gone to talk to his daddy, the toddler cautiously approached the other once again. "Um, I w-wasn't gonna take et. I just fink it's pretty." He paused uncomfortably for a second, wondering what else to talk about, before he sat down and asked a hesitant question. "Yoo don't like pants much eiver, 'Ludra?"

Adhara laughed a bit, smiling at Silas' reply. "Yeah... daddy wasn't too happy about that. He was all angry that Guinevere just took Aludra, even though she was yelling at a tech for a while 'cause they were being all annoyin' and stuff," she replied, blinking a couple times when her father took her spot in talking to Silas. She shrugged to herself and wandered back over to the couch, Reena holding up the book for her as she flopped down, mostly ignoring the rest of the people in the room. Being with Aludra and his fits for only a few days had gotten her quite a bit better at blocking out damn-near everything.
Noah chuckled softly upon hearing about the little boy's want to fly, and glanced back at him. Yeah, it was obvious that he wouldn't be able to do such a thing very easily. "Alright, I'll remember that. Adhara used to do... something similar, though without jumping off of things... except once. I'm thankful that she actually can fly, though," Noah replied with a bit of a smile, remembering back when his little girl was only a toddler. "Anything else I should know about? Allergies, food preferences... necessary sleeping arrangements?"
The wings on Aludra's ankles fluttered uncomfortably, covered by his pants and not liking the squashed feeling. He dropped into a sitting position, folding up the bottoms of his pants so that the small wings wouldn't be smashed against his scaly skin. He glanced up at the cautious toddler's question. "Pants..." he mumbled to himself, memorizing the pronunciation of the word before shaking his head. "No like. Why Lir not like?" he asked sloppily, glancing up at the boy. He wasn't used to speaking to people, mostly because they never bothered to listen to him.

Silas smiled up at Noah, happy and a little relieved to hear that he would be able to cope with Liron's little fixation. He chuckled softly, and glanced fondly over at his son. "Yeah, there are some days I wish that he could, too. Anyway, other stuff, right. Umm..." The young man hesitated for a bit, wondering if there was anything else crucial he needed to tell the other. Honestly, the jumping thing had been highest on his list, and he didn't really have any time to think of any other warnings before now. "Well... he doesn't like sleeping alone. Well, actually, he never has, so it'd probably be best to put him up with either Adhara or... the other one. Oh! And he doesn't like orange juice, either, so don't try to feed him that... And-and remind him to brush his teeth; he usually forgets. And- And-" Silas was now fidgeting thoughtfully, convinced he was forgetting some crucial detail. "Jeez, this is harder than I thought it was going to be..."
Lironax smiled a little wider at the growlless reply he got, and shrugged his shoulders. "I dunno. Dey just feel funny. I ask my daddy to get me dresses when we go to deh clofing shtore, but he always just gets me dese." He shook his leg pointedly, showing off his shabby pair of overalls. "Dese are okay, dough, cause dey got losta pockets." He smiled gently, unsure what else to say, and slowly reached out with a tentacle to softly poke 'Ludra's ankle-wings. The toddler had never seen wings like that before, and was intrigued to say the least.

At the comment about setting Lironax up with his daughter, Noah smiled sheepishly, glancing over to his daughter, where she had Reena holding up a book and Niita reaching out to get her cup of soda for her. Oh, that's right- he and Aludra had gone shopping the other day, hadn't they? Shaking his head to get back into the moment, he smiled a bit at Silas. "I'll probably let him sleep with Aludra, then. Adhara... is getting a little too... 'mature' for me to let a toddler sleep in her room," Noah replied nervously, trying to ignore the slight flush creeping across his cheek.
It wasn't her fault, after all!! Reena and Niita had started to become more lusty recently, and Noah had the unfortunate incident of walking in on her when... he shouldn't have. Luckily, though, in most situations, she was able to control them well enough, and they were starting to become more helpful than they were annoying. Noah couldn't help but laugh at Silas' nervousness, and smiled a bit. "Don't worry. I think that after Adhara, Lironax will be nothing. Oh- one last question, though; assuming that his appearance means that his sin is Lust, what is his virtue?"
Aludra blinked large green eyes a few times as he listened to the little boy ramble on about dresses and clothing and other such things. That was when he remembered the clothing that he'd somehow convinced Noah to let him buy, as well as some old dresses that Adhara still had saved from when she'd been a toddler. Gesturing for the other to follow, Aludra went up the stairs on his hands and feet -it was easier that way- and led the other boy into his room, which had been bare until only the day before. Now, however, it was full of a strange variety of things. Piles of clothing, marbles, board games and, most curious of all, an entire bookshelf that was covered from top-to-bottom in different kinds of lotion.
Closing the cloth curtain-door-thing -Noah didn't believe in letting anyone younger than a child have their own door- he grumbled to himself a bit, fighting his pants off before tossing them in the pile of clothing that he didn't like in the least, but would keep anyway. Taking one of the lotions off the shelf, he squirted a handful of it into one of his hands, and rubbed it over the itchy scales covering his legs. That was when he remembered his guest and nodded a couple times, going to his closet and pulling out the bottom-most drawer of his dresser, revealing several different dresses, all that would probably fit Lironax. He tossed out one after the other, each one hitting the toddler almost perfectly, covering him in girlie clothing; first came the corduroy dresses, one orange with two big, magenta pockets on the front, and another in the same design, but blue with magenta pockets, instead. Then there were just tons of other ones, black and white, pink, blue, pink and blue, many of them with sashes, some without, and one that was one of those classic lolita dresses in white and pink- that one had been his sisters.
Finished rifling through his drawers, Aludra flopped down onto his bum and stared at the other boy for a moment, not really seeing anything amusing about the fact that he was covered in dresses, whereas many other people would have found such a thing hilarious. "Not keep," he commented in regards to the dresses; they were his, after all, even if he was a boy, and had no use for wearing such things. Which brought up another question... his eyebrows knitted in confusion, and he tilted his head, pointing at the spawn in question. He'd assumed the other was a boy, but... "Girl?"

Silas frowned a bit when Noah said that he would probably have Lironax sleep with that Aludra than Adhara; at a glance, he would have trusted the older girl more. However, at the others explanation, he understood Noah's logic. In fact, it struck him as funny, as did the blush that was creeping steadily across the elder's face. Once again though, his smirk was hidden behind his head as he listened to Noah's question, nodding until he could regain control of himself. "Heh, yeah, he's a Lust child. His virtue is Patience, though, so he's pretty placid. J-Just, don't tell him to wait and then forget about him, okay? Because he will wait. Until you say he can stop. Like, for hours."
The young man chuckled semi-sheepishly, and then dug into his pocket and withdrew a crumpled sheet of paper with a phone number scrawled on it, which he handed to Noah. "Well, here's my number; call me if things get out of control. I'll be back for him by the end of the week, if things go well." Smiling, he turned to the room, looking for his son, but when the toddler was nowhere to be found, he shrugged and waved casually towards the other guardian. "See you around, then. Tell Lir I said goodbye." And with that, Silas was gone, off to the airport and then Russia.
Meanwhile, Lironax was both surprised, confused and delighted to see that 'Ludra had so many pretty dressies in his possession. He flailed a little with wing and tentacle until his head poked out of the pile of cloth, smiling broadly and glancing eagerly at the pile around him. With some difficulty, he wiggled his way out of the pile and, dumping his backpack unceremoniously, began looking through the pile. "Wow, are all dese yours, 'Ludra? You're rully lucky; I don' get anee dressies unless Miss Sarah lets me barrow one." As he spoke, he drew out a white and black polka-dot dress with a big bow on the back. Immensely pleased by his find, Lir quickly kicked off his shoes and removed himself of his pesky overalls, folding them nicely like Silas had said and placing them beside the dress pile. Then, with a little difficulty, he began squirming his way into the pretty dress.
As he did so, Lironax looked over at Aludra, and thought for a little bit about the question before shrugging as well he could and shaking his head. "No, I don't fink so. I mean, Daddy alaways tells me dat I'mma boy, but losta people we meet fink I'mma gurl at furst." Finally, he managed to pop his wing through the tentacle-level hole in the back, although with some tearing of fabric, and spun around happily, delighting in the swooshy feeling the material had. "Wow, dis is rully nice, 'Ludra! Fank you! Do I look prettee? Miss Sarah says I alaways look prettee in da dressies she puts me in."

Noah chuckled slightly upon hearing that the child's son was a Patience... child. That was an awkward thought, but he tried to shake it off before he attracted unwanted questions about what he was thinking. "I don't think that I'll really need to tell him to wait; after all, Adhara is a Diligence child, and couldn't stand sitting still for more than a minute; I've gotten used to hyperactive kids, so a placid one will be a major relief," Noah commented with a bit a laugh. It was true, after all: As much as Adhara was a fairly well-behaved child, she never could stand sitting still, and always had to be doing something.
Noah took the crumpled piece of paper and flattened it out as best he could, barely able to make out the number amoung the wrinkles; it looked almost like it had gone through the wash. Shaking his head, he folded the paper up and stuck it in his pocket, making a mental note to write the number on the emergency list he left for Adhara. "I'll be sure to tell him that; I guess we'll be seeing you next week," Noah replied, smiling at bit as the other left before closing the door and leaning against it, finally allowing his confusion to show on his face.
Now he was allowed to ask questions, away from the prying eyes of... the kid whom the questions were about. But there was something off about how his mind was tackling them. Sure, there were the obvious things about his hair colour and eye colour and stuff, but what was bothering him even more was the fact that he looked like he couldn't be any older than a teenager. How old was he, really? How could he manage to take care of a child if he was only a child himself? How would someone let him take care of a child? Especially with how fast the kids from the Facility seemed to grow; chances were that that little boy would be older than Silas within a year, if not less. Shaking his head, Noah sighed softly, and left toward the kitchen to make some kind of dinner and write down Silas' phone number.
Adhara in the meantime, had finally grown bored of reading her book, already halfway through it, yet unable to find the lack-of-energy needed to keep reading. She sat up and stretched her arms as well as her wings, yawning widely and rubbing one of her eyes a bit. Feathers fluffing a tad, she lifted herself off the sofa and started up the stairs, picking up scattered clothing with each step. It seemed that ever since Aludra had come into this family, the apartment was in a constant state of complete-and-total-mess. She headed up the stairs, intent on finding the laundry room that always seemed to be moving, when she caught wind of the strange conversation between her brother and the other little boy. Blinking curiously, she slipped into the child's room, amber eyes widening in surprise at the sight of the other lust child.
She covered her mouth, chuckling softly behind her hands at the little one's appearance, as well as his obvious happiness at the dress. Dropping the clothes, she walked over to the little boy. "You do look pretty, Lir, but you've got it on a little awkwardly," she said in a humored fashion, kneeling behind the boy to gently pull his wing back into the dress and out the hole in the back, where it would fit better, without ruffling anything. But, without the natural balance that her own body had, the dress drooped slightly, and she couldn't help but laugh. "I guess I'll leave you boys to your fun," she said with a smile, ruffling Lir's hair a bit and picking up the clothes she'd brought up, leaving with only a small smile to her brother.
Growling at his sister's unannounced visit, Aludra pulled the curtain closed behind her, and looked back over at Lir, who did seem quite adorable with the polka-dotted dress that he's picked out. Going back to his closet, he dug out a pair of scissors and went back to the boy, cutting the second tentacle hole a little bit bigger, and then pulling his wing through once more. That done, he tossed the scissors to the side and went to another drawer, pulling out a few safety pins, which he used to sloppily close up the hole in the back, also tying the string at the top so that it wouldn't fall off. Taking a few steps back to admire his handiwork, he finally smiled, but only slightly. "'Ludra thinks Lir'nax is girl," he stated with a short nod of the head. It seemed basic knowledge, after all.
"Chess?" he asked suddenly, tipping his head to the side. He could teach the other how to play, after all. It was a fun game, and it took up the time between now and dinner. Especially because he didn't think that another child his own age would be able to pick up on the game very fast. It had taken him quite a while, after all...

Lironax was surprised by the sound of Adhara's voice behind him; after the wonderful shock of seeing all of 'Ludra's dresses, he had kind of forgotten that she was around. He grinned happily at the compliment, and stood quite still as the older girl put his wing through another hole that he hadn't even realized had existed. Giggling at the more-comfortable position, he flapped his wing cheerfully. "Fank yoo, Adhee! Yoo have fun doing your fun fings, too." That being said, Lir resumed his satisfied twirling, oblivious to the Greed boy's irritation at the interuption.
In fact, the dress absorbed so much of his attention that he didn't hear Aludra come behind him with the scissors, and he nearly jumped when he felt the metal on his back and quiet shhnk of the blades cutting the cloth. By reflex, he stood still, though he turned his head to better see what the other boy was doing. The sight brought another delighted smile to his face, and once Alu was done, he found that he could wriggle his wing even more. The boy bounced on his heels, clapping his hands at the miracle work. "Wow, yer rully good at dat, 'Ludra. Like, Miss Sarah good." The toddler shrugged off the comment, having gotten used to hearing many like them. "Okay den, dat's fine. Gurls are prettee, aneeway. Just don't tell my daddy dat, or he'll be mad at choo." Lir crossed his arms and nodded firmly at this. He had experience in these matters.
However, the serious demeanor was quickly abolished by the mention of this chess. Lironax had never heard of such a thing before, and was curious to what it was. Was it a game, a food, another kind of dressie? The possibilities were near-endless. Cocking his head to the side in a way mirroring Aludra's, he furrowed his brows lightly. "Chess? Whazzat? Is it a game?" Lir hoped it was. He was good at a lot of games. Or at least, he was better than Silas.

Aludra nodded a couple of times at most of what Lir was saying, not really paying attention up until that compliment. That was one thing that he wouldn't let go. Turning, he set a harsh gaze on the Patience child and shook his head roughly. "'Ludra not good. Don't say," he stated firmly, tail flipping back and forth close to the carpeted ground as he went back to his piles of stuff, digging through until he found one of the simpler, easier-to-understand chess sets. Blowing a bit of dust off of it, he turned and walked back toward Lironax, flopping down on the floor and pulling out all of the pieces, setting them up in order.
"Rook. 'Ishop. Knight. Queen. King. Knight. 'Ishop. Rook," Aludra told the other boy the names of each piece, pointing to them in turn and showing how each of them moved. "Protect king. King dies, you lose," he said simply, unable to find any other way to put such a simple concept, as far as his own mind was concerned. The other probably wouldn't know how to play, though. Which meant that he would have to go through explaining everything repeatedly, which would be a pain given he didn't much like talking in the first place. If that wasn't obvious by his basic speech patterns and all.

Lironax blinked in mild surprise when 'Ludra got angry at him for saying such nice things. Holding his hands up in surrender, he quickly took his statement back, albeit with a bit of confusion. "A-Alright, 'Ludra. Yer not as good as Miss Sarah." The boy fidgeted with the hem of the dress nervously as the other dug through his mess of things, suddenly feeling uncomfortable. What kind of weird person didn't like being told they were good at something? Like all questions he had, Lir stowed it away to be asked of Silas later.
The Patience boy hesitantly sat on the floor, looking hard at the board and pieces Aludra set up. He picked up his white king and eyed it carefully, trying to remember all of the fancy rules that his friend had conveyed without a word. So... the King was the most important, but he couldn't do a lot, and the Queen could do almost everything 'cept go in the L-shape like the Knights could, and Bishops could only move diagonally, and... and... He replaced the piece hesitantly, gnawing his lower lip in concern. This game certainly had a lot of rules. Noticing that 'Ludra wasn't doing anything, Lironax hovered a hand over a pawn, and then moved it one space forward. Golden eyes quickly shot up to look at Aludra. "Like dat, right?"

All-in-all, Aludra was surprised at how this meeting was going. This boy was the first he'd ever met that was similar to himself, besides Adhara. But Adhara was his sister, and was older than him, so that was a completely different story. The boy nodded a couple times at the questioning, and moved his own piece. Bit-by-bit, things scattered across the board, a few black pieces disappearing, but it was mostly Lironax's white pieces who sort-of piled up on the side of the board. Though he wasn't the type to think it was because of skill he was going to win, there was no way he was going to give-in on his relentless attack to the poor wooden pieces he loved so dearly. Listening closely, one would be able to hear him slowly counting down from about sixteen under his breath with every move he made.
Finally, he reached one, Lir moved, and he moved as well, before his red-rimmed green eyes looked up toward the boy sitting across from him, his tail swishing back and forth slowly behind him, given how deep his thought process had been only moments before. "Check-mate," he mumbled finally blinking a few times. Lironax didn't know what that meant, did he? The little Greed demon grumbled softly under his breath at the ignorance of this little boy, closing his eyes to hold back a temper that usually only showed itself when he was throwing a tantrum. He didn't at all understand why he was getting so angry around this little boy, so easy to make content. It was irritating. "Means you lose."
It was only moments after these words broke from the boy's mouth, before Noah's voice drifted up the stairs, calling the kids to dinner. Adhara, who'd finally managed to find the laundry room, sighed irritably and shook her head, stuffing the rest of her darker coloured clothes into the washer and turning it on, before heading to Aludra's room, tapping on the door frame politely before letting herself in. "Aludra, you heard dad just now, righ-"
"Yes." said child stated, glaring slightly at his sister, who held up her hands in a defensive sort-of gesture.
"Alright, alright. Make sure you come down soon, alright?" she commented, before heading back downstairs. In fact, Aludra had barely noticed that Noah had said anything, and there were quite a few times when he had completely forgotten to go down for dinner, simply because he didn't feel all that hungry, or was too tired to want to eat anything. He gestured for Lironax to follow him downstairs after standing, and headed down himself, not bothering to put pants on, or notice that it might be strange for his friend to emerge in a dress.

Considering Lironax was getting his tuckus handed to him in chess, he was having quite a good time playing with Aludra. He had never played anything that had required so much concentration as this did, and even though he occasionally spent a good three minutes pondering over a move, he still usually forgot the very complicated rules. Within a few turns a good chunk of his white pieces were gone, but the boy didn't mind, and kept playing with a small smile on his face. It was clear that 'Ludra was very good at this game, way much gooder than Lironax was. The small boy was amazed and impressed when Aludra beat him, and looked up at him with almost-adoring eyes. "Wow, dat was rully fast, 'Ludra. Can we play 'gain?"
He was waiting for an answer when Adhee knocked on the door and reminded the young pair that dinner was ready. Excited (he had forgotten how hungry he was, what with all the concentrating on chess), Lir stood up quickly and waited for Aludra to lead him to the kitchen. Once again, the Patience child was quietly amazed at the size of Adhee and 'Ludra's house. His house wasn't nearly as big.
Twisting his hips to swish his dress as he walked, Lironax smiled and waved to Adhara when they entered the kitchen, waiting to see that it was okay to sit at the chairs before clambering onto one himself. It was a little difficult, given that it was rather high, but he managed with minimal adjusting of his dress. "Hiya, Adhee and Adhee's daddee. We played chesss." Beaming like a proud parent, Lir pointed to where the Greed child was. "'Ludra wonned rully quick-like."
