I got this idea after reading "The PS 50". Powerslam is a wrestling magazine and every year they do a Top 50 of who they think the best wrestlers were of the year!
I thought it would be cool to see where other members place each other, so here we go! I am going to post my example below but you can go into as much detail as you want!
Tag teams are not included in this, everybody is rated separately!
Cartwrights EEW Top 10
1.Shadow (Burn)
Shadow has had the longest EEW World Title reign in EEW history, holding it for almost a whole year! That is one hell of a accomplishment as the competition was always very strong!
2.Johnathen Riker (Drown)
Riker also has a similar accomplishment for holding the X-Treme Championship as long as he has! Just like Shadow, Riker has had plenty of tough competition, even surviving a Battle Royal at The Birthday Show in November to retain his title!
3.Harli (Burn)
Harli is the man who ended Shadow's legendary title reign in a controversial way as EEW is famous for....by pinning Samoa Dan instead! It was a triple threat match! Controversial because it was the first time a World Champion wasn't pinned to lose his belt!
4.Jed (Drown)
Jed has shot up the ranks after his feud with Saint Joey over the EEW TV/Saints Championship and his disturbing promos involving his wife Mary! Fans can not wait to see what happens each show in this storyline!
5.The Inquisistion (Drown)
Tavarius and Esoteric lit-up the Tag Division last year with their act, title win and defences! Their feud with The Marines was extremely intense and great to watch unfold!
6.The Cardok-Saint Connection (Burn)
The current tag team Champions have been involved in some great storylines over 2008, John Cardok especially continues to improve!
7.The TapOut Mafia (Burn)
A relatively new group to EEW involving Matt Seraph, Nuke Fusion, Kai, Chris Cross and Chrono but they made such a impact that they had to be included! They turned a exciting Birthday Show into a unforgettable one with their promos!
8.Marxx (Drown)
The Party Animal has been consistently entertaining with his quality matches and promos! He's also been a big part of Speed by stepping-up as Head Teacher! He has become a huge part of the EEW promotion, well known to be trustworthy and dependable!
9.Joshua Danielson (Drown)
Also putting on quality matches every show, could his recent heel turn against old friend Marxx be what he needs to reach EEW Super stardom in 2009?
10.Travis Nightsky (Burn)
Simply put, the five seconds of hell match with Nuke at the Birthday Show is a must-read and contender for best match of 2008!
Cartwrights Predictions
There wasn't enough room in the top 10 for everyone I wanted to mention! Special shout-out to the returning Freakshow, Ryuu Sakamoto, CwP, Jacob Meyers, The Unholy Alliance, Snypa, Rhamm, Minion, Lauri Henry, Matt Shanahan, Chris Chaos, DJ, Falco and Atrocity who I predict will either continue to move up the ranks or have a great return to EEW this year!
Basically anyone who has put effort into EEW, because I intend to reward each and everyone of you for taking the time to post here and making it so much fun! biggrin
My unsung hero award if I had one would go to either the LWO or Pimp as they consistently put on great matches!
My Speed award if I had one would go to Sean Rowe as he consistently improved on Speed and was recently promoted to the Main Roster to Burn, showing that anyone on Speed can make it with enough dediation!
