This is the city of Aeropoli, also known as "City of Ares". It's found on the coast of Greece, just south of Sparta. It's the second largest town in the Mani peninsula and is a small port town.

"...And who was the damned genius that build this place? Christ, one lose rock up top n' the wee peasants suffer divine wrath! HA!" He'd fall over after his exclamation, never quite one for skipping from Point A over the other letters very well. He'd manage to get a glimpse of the sea, though, now from a new angle. He'd namely seen it from Japan, back when there was something to see. But, that was a whole other aura and life in his mind. Iceland had it's ocean over emerald fields, but it was no Ireland. This place...seemed a bit better.
"I'm expectin' monks n' peasants; who the hell am I allowed to shoot n' mug? And where the hell do I get a drink...how healthy is the water in a camel's hump? Why the hell are we HERE!?" He was full of questions now that he had no idea where he was and without a Lord to guide him, he was like a stray dog. He'd killed and stolen his way through life; why stop now? "Can't friggin' fly, but we can warp to the asscrack of the world! OH BOY!"

Shade had warped them to the roof of one of the buildings in town, near the port. "Them rocks are sturdier then your aim cowboy. Nothing come down off that cliff without some help." She moved and took a seat, not trusting her own balance as her vision had decided to mock a merry-go-round.
"This my home town Aeropoli, figured a good bed, food, and a bit of non hostile social interaction would do us both some good, plus you can catch a boat out of here if you don't like it." She moved a bit to look out over the town. She pointed to a close by stone building with lights strung around it. "Thats the local bar. Knock yourself out."

"Nah, I drank enough." That was a rare phrase from him. He'd reach into his coat and pull out a pair of earbud headphones, placing in only one. He'd remove the lil' iPod from his coat and search around before landing the selection on "Mozart: The Marriage Of Figaro - Overture" by, well, Mozart. He'd place it back in his coat and lie back on the roof starring up into the clouds.
"Always gotta be the center of attention...that kinda power just attracts it. That's the kind'a crap our Lord wants to put an end to...fat chance. Hard to do jack s**t when you're locked away with spikes shooting through your ********' temples...damn miracle even survived that. Sure, you n' me cut our ties to reality, but so'd Kain. Ain't s**t we can do to a force like that." He'd sigh and close his eyes. "Maybe I do need a drink..."

Shade nodded, not sure what could be done just yet. "Kain can't keep his guard up all the time. As bad as this may sound, I say we wait it out for awhile till he thinks we ain't comin for Setsumei. Plus, I think it'll take us that long to figure a way up there." She moved and stood up, only to go take a seat on teh edge of the roof. "I ain't capable of space travel, I don't care how dark it is."
Sitting on the edge looking down, Shade re-familiarized herself with the old streets of the city. The building they were sitting on happened to be empty, and high enough above the city where no one really walked past it. The only road in and out wound it's way down to where the outdoor market opened up in teh mornings, and then teh roads branched out to several small neighborhoods, before snaking it's way down to the port. "It's been a long time since I've been here, but as a heads up, if someone starts calling Hemera or Melaina, ignore them, and play along if I act like I don't know them."

"Ah yeah...what the hell is your name? Always wanted to ask, but somethin' usually stepped in. I'm guessin' no one's lucky enough ta get the name you got as a real name. Tell me your name, n' I'll tell you mine." He'd look to her with a smile, forcing himself up onto his elbows to look at her. He didn't want to dig into the reason she have other names...aliases maybe? No, not quite yet. Nor the reason she'd desperately avoid people...

Shade raised a brow and smirked. "You'd be the first person to ask my name since I got into Site 1, for awhile I was starting to think people thought my name was actually Shade. It's Melaina. Thats the name my mother gave me." She sounded almost proud of it, which contradicted why she wanted to keep it secret.

Sparks appeared in the air beside them, and a small circular portal appeared in the air beside Shade.
"Ah, finally!" Gil said, looking at her through the portal. "Hello, hello!" he said, almost a little too friendly. "Shade, m'dear, someone here in my Vault wants to speak with you."

Shade tensed as the sparks started, not sure what teh hell they came from. She loosened up a bit when she realized it was only Gilgamesh, she knew Kain wasn't back so that truce was still active. She raised a brow when he mentioned someone in his vault wanting to talk to her. "And who might that be?" she asked.

"A young lady by the name of Rozalin." he said with a smile, his red eyes glinting. "We ourselves have something to discuss, but I'll contact you later about that." he added, moving away from the portal.

"No offense, but I don't plan on going through that portal of yours. If Rozalin has something to say, send her through our way, and if she don't want to come through, then tell me what you have to say first." Shade said staring into teh portal for now. She was getting tired, and really wanted to do nothing more than sleep at the moment.

Now in the background, Gil smiled. "The portal will follow you, Shade, so feel free to go as you please. I promise not to peek!" he laughed as he sorted out his treasures with waves of his hands.

Shade glared into the portal, half tempted to slice through it with that nifty dagger Gilgamesh had given her. "What do you want Gilgamesh!" she asked again, her temper getting shorter as she got tired.

Shade nodded, not in the mood to put up with people at teh moment. "Tell Doc if she's got something to say, to get off her a** and come say it to me. She may have gone and changed species, but still, she ain't too good enough to talk to me face to face." She moved and pulled the dagger out that Gilgamesh had given her. "Have a nice break, truce's off when Kain gets back." she reminded him before cutting through the portal and getting rid of it. To make sure it worked she clogged the thing with a few simple shadows, sound proof and not letting a single soul out.
Shade sighed and leaned back on teh flat of teh ledge, letting her one leg hang off the edge of it. "Screw it, I ain't movin. I'll just friggin sleep here for now." she said, closing her eyes. Her sunglasses faded away as she did, not wanting to have to keep them in place while she was sleeping.
