 "Welcome, welcome everyone to our Halloween Event" says Jabir as you enter in the room. The place is decorated with several large pumpkings, all with scary looking faces and eerie glows, looking at you from every corner, skulls holding wax candles on every ragged table and stone walls, and several old looking armours standing guard Dangling bats and spiders look at you from the rafters up above, while cats and snakes do the same from between the tables legs. An occasional owl swoops over you head from time to time, whooting loudly The spooks and ghouls can also be easily found. Everything from ghosts and imps to vampires and werewolves are walking around and entertaining the guests. Some are even playing the band And in the center of the room a huge table cramming with sweets, cakes, treats, drinks, fruits and anything else you can imagine welcomes the more hungry ones and tempts the others "Please feel free to have fun, to spook and get spooked. The events have been planned and you are most welcome to join them" he points to a long sign near the door "Only a few are reserved to certain guests, but others are free to all. As for this room" he waves around "no harm will come from our entertainers... as long you don't bother them too much"

The sing reads:
October 17th to October 23rd (extended until the end of halloween party)
Trick or Treat (for guardians and Mishaps only)
- The participants must visit eachother's rooms and ask for trick or treat. The purpose of this event is to receive the widest variety of candy and sweets
- Only offered candy is valid. Buying or getting freebies for yourself(s) doesn't count
- The minishop will offer some freebies for people to give to others. And if the guardians want to participate as well an automatic door anwserer will be available during this event
Pumpking Carving Contest
- The participants can submit a picture or photo per person until the end of this date
- The winner for the most original one will be announced by the beginning of the party
- Please send your submission to the mule account
October 23rd to October 31st
Halloween Party
- An rp event where everybody can have fun. Everyone is invited and is allowed to bring guests and friends
- The beginning will start by judging of the pumpking contest and end with the costume contest
- The rp rules still apply
Costume Contest
- The participants can submit a pic, avatar or photo of the costume per person until the end of this date
- The winner for the 2 best costumes (male and female) will be announced by the end of the party and be declared king and queen of the party
- Only people entering on the party can participate
- Please send your submission to the mule account

Rabid entered the large room carefully, peering around nervously. She was dressed in normal clothing, but her usual big green shoulder bag seemed to bulge unnaturally. She made her way to an empty table in the corner of the room and gently shoved her bag under the table. She placed Malachi in an old-fashioned wooden baby walker to let him wander.
Malachi stared up in wonderment at the decorations. How awesome! This Halloween thing was going to be fun! He walked clumsily around the table, testing out his new walker. His little hands gripped the outer ring so hard his itty bitty knuckles turned white...well...white-er.

Chao poked her head into the large room, looking around with a curious smile. "Wow," she ventured, glancing at the sign that Jabir had gestured to, making note of the various contests for later before venturing further into the room, Reid in her arms, normal clothing on their frames.
Reid cooed lightly, emerald eyes flicking to different things as they caught his attention, breifly sparing a small glare Jabir's as the tall Mishap made his introductiong way before looking away firmly to the rafters. After a moment his attention fixed on one of the nearby owls, it's large golden eyes meeting his and after a moment it hooted quietly. With a grin the firefly Mishap mimicked the sound back at the bird, giggling at the way it sounded.
"Heya Rabid!" Chao called suddenly, catching sight of the other guardian and waving in greeting.

Rabid's head snapped up at the familiar voice. It took her a moment to think to look toward the door.
"Chao!" her face brightened and she waved, then electing to motion the girl over.
Malachi grinned widely when he spotted his friend.
"Reid!" he called out and began stumbling his way over to Chao. The dumb wooden thing was doing its job, but not very well. His armpits were starting to hurt, so he forced himself to hold up his own weight.

Grinning Chao headed over, placing Reid on the ground when the Mishap began to wriggle.
"Ike!" Reid called out in return, glowing warmly at the sight of his friend and crawling as quickly as he could his way.
When he neared he blinked at the contraption his friend seemed to be incased in. "Ra?" he asked, giving the wooden thing a curious look at rapping at it with one hand.
Chao spared the two Mishaps a last glance before finishing her walk towards Rabid, "heya Morbid, how're you?"

"No better, no worse," Rabid smiled and giggled at her new nickname. In all reality, she hadn't thought that Chao was serious, "How about yourself?" She gave a sideways glance toward the ceiling and saw that no owls had congregated above her head. Of course not...
Malachi rapped on the wooden thing too, his ears folding backward.
"Bah," he said before attempting a newer word, "Waaaaahk...walk! Walk."
Mummy had said that this bothersome thing would help him walk, but he hadn't remembered its purpose up until this point.

"Pretty much the same, glad october's nearly over. Halloween then in a bit it'll be november break for me," a whistful grin tugged at her lips. A week off, heaven, she was so happy for the chance to catch up on sleep, be with her family and just not go to school for that time period.
"Waaa..." Reid made a face, "wahk? Wark? Walk?" That was it! He smiled at the accomplishment, then frowned, looking at the walker again. It looked more like a moving crib in his opinion.

"Awww...I love October. So far, it's been my lucky month," she glanced pointedly around the room, her eyes landing on Malachi, "Vacation, eh? Funfun." She hadn't been to school in years...and even then, it was more of an orphanage home-schooling.
"Walk," Malachi grinned proudly for his friend. He then shifted uncomfortably and bent his elbows, grabbing the bar around him. He pushed up, muscles straining, until his feet were off the ground. He kicked a few times in mid-air, causing the wooden thing to tip over. He giggled happily and crawled out of it.
Rabid's head snapped in her son's direction.
"Damn...he found his way out. He better get used to it soon..."

"I'm stuck for a few more years," the teen was every bit as young as she looked, "well, if my brother has any say it in. No idea why I'm the one who has to go through the torture and not him though," she grumbled, hopping up onto a nearby cleared area of a table.
Reid grinned and giggled happily, clapping his hands together, glad his friend had escaped the bizarre device. "Fwra!" he chirped happily, falling into crawl beside Ike. Now they could go anywhere!
Chao laughed, "you know, that's what I said about my daughter and her crib when she first figured out how to get out of it too..." she said, a slight undertone of foreboding in her voice, kicking her feet back and forth. "Beward the power of the little and the reckless."

"Enjoy it while you can," Rabid shook her head, "Best years of your life, they are. Oh, God. Don't even get me started about cribs. Malachi's has to have 3 hidden latches. His costume won't work without that damned walker."
Her eyse returned to Chao and she raised an eyebrow, "When are we supposed to be wearing our costumes, anyway? I refuse to change in and out of mine every time." She shuddered to think of finally having to wear her costume. God, it was a pain in the arse...
Malachi smiled at Reid and began crawling toward the table in the centre of the room. If he wasn't mistaken, he'd seen candy there when they'd come in.
Nisha suddenly fluttered in the door, feeling utterly ignored. Master hadn't seemed to notice her following along. Ah, well. She'd be able to busy herself here. Seeing Master's son crawling away, she flew over to him and landed on his ear.
Malachi, as usual, didn't notice the insect's perching.
