Rachel Pateko stood calmly out in the open gardens in front of the Facility. Today he was to be teaching a student to fly - or attempting it anyway. From what he'd read in the file, the boy in question had wings on his arms which might make learning slightly more difficult for the boy. Not impossible, but still difficult.
Stretching the large hawk wings on his back, the man smiled. This promised to at least be decent. Hopefully he didn't have to threaten to drop anyone this time.

Tykier had to get out of the car, without Eve, and go to the directed place outside the building... He saw a man with hawk-like wings, who he thought was supposed to be his mentor, "Hi..."

Rachel looked down at Tykier and smiled somewhat nodding his head. "Hello. You'd be Ty then? I'm Rachel."

"Yes, sir..." Tykier was in awe at the man's gigantic wings.(I'll be in awe, too, if I saw that...)

The blonde cocked an eyebrow. "No need to call me sir. Anyway, you're here for a flying lesson then? I warn you, it might be a bit more strenuous on you given how your wings are." he explained.
(lol you'd be in awe anyway, he's hot.)

Rachel smiled and showed Tykier to a soft part of the grass. "How would you prefer to start? In the air or on the ground. I'd recommend starting down here and trying to get higher but it's up to you."

"I think, for right now, I should just start on the ground..." Ty said.

Rachel nodded and walked over to help the boy adjust himself into a proper position to get air under his wings. "You're going to have to rely more on drafts and arm strength than most other students of mine. And probably will have to beat your wings harder than they do. Whenever you're ready, you can begin."
(Warning, though Rachel knows what he's doing, Dg knows JACK s**t about flight XD)

Listening to his teacher, he nodded, and gulped, "Okay..." He flapped his arms as hard as he could, got up into the air about one or two inches off the ground before he fell.
(lol!!! XD)

Rachel decided now would be a good time to give the boy a bit of assistance. So, after helping Tykier up and prompting the boy to start flapping again, he wrapped and arm around the other's legs to hold him up for a while. "Get used to flapping and using your arms like that. I'll let you go and let you fly on your own when you have the hang of it so you don't hurt yourself."

Rachel nodded a bit and put the boy back on the ground. "If you don't get enough lift just from flapping, you may wanna get a running start." he explained.

Tykier nods his head, holds his arms out, and runs, flapping his winged arms. In just a second, Tykier thought he still had both feet on the ground, but then he realized; his feet were in the air!
He was flying! He smiled.

Rachel's large wings beat powerfully and soon he'd swooped up to stay beside the boy in the air. "Now you can't go relaxing too much up here or you're get hurt. However, you can glide a bit if you need a break or something."
