Aeolus stood alert inside the teepee. It was hard to sleep on such a beautiful night. The entrance was slightly open, and he could just see outside. The ocean waves swashed gently and soothingly, while in the dark sky diamonds flicked and glowed. He couldn't wish for any more, to just be here relaxing under the star filled sky. He closed his eyes, only for a moment, but quickly opened them again as he heard a rustle. He pinned his ears back, he knew he was right about not choosing such a place as obvious as a beach for their home to be! An enemy could find them blindfolded! Whipping Casonova with his tail he grunted, signaling that there was an intruder. Keeping a defensive position he slowly stuck his nose outside the entrance before sticking his entire head outside.
He looked around and scanned the area. No one was around... But Aeolus didn't surrender to a false conclusion just yet, slowly he lowered his eyes and looked down. A basket. He sighed. Oh wow, what a threat. Quite sure somebody had just abandoned it and was no long gone he fully left the teepee, examining the poor thing. What were they going to do with it? They couldn't just leave it here. Cas sure as hell couldn't raise a child, he surely wasn't about to, and Igohidv would probably spoil the kid to horrible lengths.((Igohidv is my Indian persona.))

Casonava snored gently in his sleep as he dreamed happily. He and Sayena were happily playing on the beach, their laughter filling the hair and love in their hearts. The pink mare had appeared constantly in his dreams the past few weeks. Rather odd, but not unpleasant. After all, she was quite a cute one. Yet it was surprising that she should dwell within his mind so much, must be her sweet personality. So cute...
A sharp pain on his side made him groan as he opened his eyes bearily and looked around the teepee. It was still the middle of the night and the dark outline of the stallion who lived with stood out against the opening of the teepee. Annoying that he, the Casonava, should be living with another male instead a group of pretty females. What would the girls think? That he was homo?
He groaned as he got slowly up and approached the entrance. What was the stallion staring at? He blinked, a basket? A smirk grew on his face as he nudged Aeolus,"Been busy, haven't you?" Of course he was joking cause that guy wouldn't get a girl for his life...not that he seemed to want a girl after all. But It was fun teasing him.

Aeolus rolled his eyes, "at least if the teepee was attacked by a kalona I'd be able to run away or something unlike you who'd probably be able to sleep through an earthquake." He glowered at him, before looking at the basket was a more softened expression. "It was left out here, probably abandoned by some mother that didn't want the burden of raising children." He sighed and shook his head slowly, "so what do you suppose we do with it? Take it in? The human will be more than happy to."
At the thought though he took a step back, "problem is though who to take care of him. I'm definitely not going to and neither of you would do a much better job raising him together." Aeolus assumed it would be a boy since Casonova had bad luck like that.

Casonava shrugged at the comment on himself. After all, if any mare was attacked by a kalona, there was no doubt that he himself should utterly destroy the disgusting beast and save the damsil in distress. But as for Aeolus...ugh, maybe if he was a in a good mood. His green eyes drifted towards the basket, looking at it clearly in for the first time. It was a chestnut brown color with a streak of white over the top. It couldn't be any of Aeolus's children, what a pity. He was hoping for something to tease the other stallion about. Ah well.
"It might be a basket accidently left here by the mother. She must be colorblind or something. I'm thinking that she was looking for its father, but then she took a peek at me, and totally forgot all about it and went trotting off daydreaming up the great Casonava forgetting all about the little one here." He grinned as he put on an air of nonchalance,"You will, won't you? Be a good stallion." He gave a little nod. It would be a nice occupation for the other stallion seeing as he didn't seem to have anything to do and he himself needed some time to flirt with the ladies of course.

"I'm quite sure if a pair loved each other they would know the difference between their mate and another stallion even if the mare was blind." But no, Cas wouldn't understand what true love was. He sighed, before shaking his head. "No way, I have enough on my plate. If I'm watching over some brat than whose gonna watch you and make sure you don't go harassing females?" He raised a brow, wondering how they ever survived living together. Though, it would be good getting a third horse in here, or they may just not survive much longer.
Thinking about it a moment longer he gave in. He couldn't trust a child in Casonava's care, he'd probably rear it up to be a misguided and very lonely adult. "Well, alright. I won't be able to rear him up as well as a true mother, but it'll be better than a perverted stallion such as yourself." He lowered his eyes, "I just hope that when he pops out of his little basket that he doesn't see both of us and think we're his parents." Bleck.
Lowering his head he began to slowly and gently nudge the basket inside the teepee with his nose. It was a little cold, and a sick foal that wasn't even out of their basket yet wouldn't fare off very well.

Casonava rolled his eyes,"Of course they must have loved each other cause if they didn't, why would these little basket be here in the first place? Or are you suggesting drugs? Yet that power of their love wavered in the light of my handsome self so it can't be helped." He paused before saying,"I don't harass them. I flirt with them. There's a difference you know...perhaps you don't know which rather explains your detachment to the opposite sex."
He snotted, the other stallion could be rather annoying at times about Cas's influence over females, but of course he was just jealous. Of course every stallio should and is jealous of the great Casanova. At least Aeolus was going to take care of the kid now,"Yeah right. If that happens, I bet he will think that you're the mama." He rolled his eyes,"Now take up that frilly apron and wait patiently until he comes out. Imma gonna take a nap." He started to trot back to the direction of the tent.

"Don't be so full of yourself, and you don't know what kind of history a child has. The derogatory term for it is 'b*****d'. Kinda, correction, very like you." He sighed, "and I'm quite sure harassment includes flirting if a female is not comfortable. Though you wouldn't know, you only treat females with a facade of respect and their merely there for personal enjoyment. Manipulation, and more than likely they wouldn't cast a second glance at you if they saw behind that facade."
Glaring at Cas he gave him a soft buck to the side with his hind leg hoof, enough to disgruntle him. "Take it like a stallion, and stop trying to fool yourself with your little facade." Grunting he lied down in his corner of the teepee farthest from Cas and laid his head down gently over the basket protectively. Geez, he sure hopes this kid was a kalona or something so they could kick Casonova's butt.
((Is it Casanova, Casonova, or Casonava? xD))

Casonova frowned slightly at the other stallion's comments. He knew that perhaps he himself was being a little but too narcissitic, but it was only a little bit, nothing much. And the way Aeolus described him, it might look like he was a horrible evil villian in disguise than the handsome prince charming which he was. As far as he was concerned, he could get a bit out of hand sometimes, but it was that much. No need to make a big deal out of it. He rolled his eyes.
"Pbbbbbbbt. I'm not fooling myself. My mind is perfectly clear thank you very much. You might want to get some ladies for yourself seeing as you are clearly suffering from a case of loneliness and bad temper. Though it might not big good if they saw the little lad there." He gave a little wink and closed his eyes, slowly dozing into a nap.
The brown basket gave a little wiggle as if the foal inside was trying to get out.
((Casonova me thinks. lD *flails* Ah well. ))

Aeolus ignored the green flamboyant stallion and slowly closed his eyes to sleep as well, a scowl on his face as always. Though when the brown basket suddenly shook he quickly raised his head with alert and surprised eyes. The child was coming out!? Already? He quickly got up, questions running through his head. Could he already speak? After all, he was still alive and listening, even inside his basket. What would they name him? And how do you even take care of a foal? What if it was a kalona of skinwalker and would try to kill them!? He stop his sedentary pacing.
Was it a false alarm? He narrowed his eyes and watched the woven shell that the foal had been contained inside of. What if it was... a filly?

Casonova twitched his ears irritatedly at the slight rustling sound but otherwise ignored it. He wasn't particularally bothered by the sound, after all, it was probably just the other stallion scratching himself or something. Nothing biggy or do be any bit concerned about. Even if the basket was going to pop, pbbbbt, like that was going to happen so soon, but if it was going to, he didn't really care. After all, a foal was nothing to be all happy and glowing about. That is, unless it was his...but he was pretty sure that he didn't have any children he didn't know about, so yeah...hopefully not, perhaps? He continued on with his dreams.
It was so dark in here. So black...darkness...can't see anything. So squished...Where was she? The little filly twitched as she pushed the sides of whatever she was in. Her eyes tried to make out where she was but she couldn't see where she was. She pushed her hooves up against the hard woven cocoon she was in. She had woken up at the sound of voices before and now she wanted to get out of this darkness and find out where she was. She couldn't remember where she was, who was she?

Aeolus watched it shake some more, and calmed. It wasn't like it was that big of a deal, a foal being born is a big deal. This, this was not. He narrowed his eyes and flicked his tail, looking over to Cas, wondering if he should wake him. Hmmmm... nah. The conceited stallion wouldn't give a care in the world unless it had to do with him and they already went over that this little punk was Aeolus's problem.
He laid down again, never blinking or taking his eyes off of the basket. Did they already have a name? And if not, what would he name them...? He glanced outside for a moment. He was born on a windy day, after the God of wind. It would be sensible to name this kid after a God/dess that had some connection to stars, right? Names were important, they stick to a person forever. He had to think carefully about this. Hopefully the kid could already speak and understand, maybe they could help him out with naming themself.

Casonova continued to snore, blissfully unaware about the event that was taking place. In fact he was dreaming about food. Candy to be exact. Prancing about in a land full of candy, doesn't that sound familiar? Ah well, lots of lollipops, some as tall as the trees and other as small as pebbles. A stream ran through the lollipop forest of melted milk chocolate and the large boulders were made out dark chocolate and the thin snow over the setting out of the best white chocolate. The beach now started here, but it couldn't be called a beach anymore. The original sand was now replaced with millions, no billion, no a lot of jellybeans. So many flavors: strawberry, pina colada, tangerine, island punch, watermelon, lemon, green apple, chocolate pudding, peach, licorice...ewww, licorice was nasty. The green stallion gave a little scoff at the black candy. Really disgusting that taste of licorice was.
He then turned his gaze over to the sea where milkshake waves crashed and then...there they were, a group of beautiful females. He pranced his way towards them and immediately began flirting with them or as that cold butterfly stallion would put it, harrassing. Ha, and you would've thought that his dreams were that innocent!
The little filly pushed harder at the side of the hardly woven prison, shaking the basket. After a few more moments of hard kicking and shoving, one hoof punched a little hole at the side of the basket. She blinked bearily at the faint glimmer of light streaming through the gap between her hoof and the hole. She wiggled her hoof slightly before realizing in dismay it was stuck. She grunted with slight irritation as she wiggled it a bit more and continued to kick at the basket with her other hooves. It made the hole bigger, but only slightly, not near big enough for her whole body to crawl through. She lifted her head slightly and felt the familiar hard ceiling above her. How was she supposed to get out now? Sure, a hoof was out but there was an unlikely chance that she could get herself out. She wiggled in her position to try and find another way. Her head bumped at the ceiling again. Another glimmer of light pasted right up ahead. She blinked, and wiggled herself into a crouch position and lifted her head, and off came the lid of the basket.
The first thought that came to her as soon as she came out of the basket was that she must have done serious damage to the whatever thing she was in and that the owner probably wouldn't like it very much. She would get scolded for breaking the thing and punished no doubt. Not good, the first thing that happened to her when she got out of a basket was to be punished, not good. Guilt swept over her as she pondered over her circumstance. The owner of the cage thingy wouldn't be mad at her...would he? He might...oh dear. But then the distant sound of crashing waves brought her back to the presnt, it was not until now that she saw that she wasn't in that dark tunnel again. Her blue eyes stared at the heaven above, at the little balls of light hanging up in the velvety black sky. Light.

Aeolus watched a little hoof punch a hole in the basket and through more struggling the lid pop off. He blinked, watching as a little foal... no, filly emerged. He mentally sighed, Cas was going to be overjoyed when she grew up. She seemed confused, no, in distress. Was she worried where she was? What was going on? No, she was just a child, she'd pay more attention to then more minuscule and irrelevant things. ...No, scratch that as well. She did see the big picture, as she was looking at the world now, the stars especially. The tender little angel resembled a little star herself. Black as night wings, a golden horn, a white streak on her face along with cerulean blue eyes. She was... perfect. If Aeolus ever did have children he would want a daughter resembling her. Hopefully no sons... (It didn't matter if Cas was such a flirt to females, Cas knew he'd be at his throat if he ever tried to touch any kindred of his).
Aeolus cleared his throat, wondering how to call her. "Astraea," seemed to slip out, though he didn't mean it. But it fit her quite well, and if not then that was okay because she seemed so enchanted by the stars that maybe she hadn't heard him at all. He glanced over at Cas, then towards some extra bedding and a blanket. Women and children first, as Cas would say, he'll wake him in the morning, right now he should probably be getting a place for the filly to sleep ready.

Casonova was still dreaming...all the females were surronding him, but then, they all seemed to turn into that one pink mare and she was shouting at him, words of his betrayel and thickheadedness. The green stallion grunted uncomfortably in his sleep, no doubt so much critisism from Aeolus had caused this mishap in his happy little dream. He strod towards her trying to calm her down going to have him swatted away. Dismay broke on his face as Sayena continued to shout words of insult as tears streamed from her eyes. The milkshake waves crashed behind him as he felt himself being pulled back with it and the sweet taste of the drink coming into his mouth as he got pulled into the middle of the sea, the mare's words still sounding in his ears.
So that was light, light. That word sounded so perfect, just like the specks of it that seemed to wink at her from above. The white light shining so brightly against the velvety darkness of the sky above. Light, that was light. A broad smile seemed to grow on her face as the little brown filly stared up at the night sky. It felt so strange, so joyous just to stare at the vastness of the darkness with the pinpricks of light glimmering all over it.
Astraea. She jumped at the sound. Astraea. The word seemed to echo in her mind as her eyes landed on a dark blue stallion with beautiful silver markings who was looking at her. Astraea. She tilted her head slightly to the side as she stared at him, who was he? He couldn't be the one called 'father', well, maybe he was but something in her told her he wasn't. Astraea. She blinked again as the word sounded in her head once more. "Astraea." The word seemed to roll off her tongue as she said it, yet the sound, the feel of it didn't live her. And then she knew, she was Astraea, and Astraea was her. Astraea.

Aeolus smiled a small smile and nodded. Good. Getting up he got out the extra supplies and made her a little bed in the most defensed against the cold part of the teepee, but at just the right angle so she had an excellent view of the sky. "Rest if you wish, or continue star gazing. That light up there is made by stars, or in Latin 'astra', which part of your name comes from." He suppressed a yawn, tired by now. "I'm Aeolus, by the way." Going back to where he was about to fall asleep before he laid down and covered himself with a warm blanket. Aeolus closed his eyes, trusting the filly wouldn't try anything absurd like to run away or anything. "Good night, Astraea." And quickly the blue stallion fell into a silent sleep.
((Lawl, their dreams have nothing to do with the rp but they're always so fun. xD))
Aeolus sighed as he stood on a beach. It was shrouded in a fog, so much that he couldn't see the ocean, but he could still hear it. He must be having a dream, they happened so seldom he had the ability to tell reality from them. He looked around, but didn't move. Now, was he a player this time around or a speculator? Lifting a hoof he looked where he once stood; there was no imprint in the sand. He was some sort of spirit, therefore a speculator. Whatever happened could not see him nor affect him, so that was good. Barking came ahead of him, and in a rush a pack foxes zoomed past him. Though he didn't seem them after anything, it was like they were chasing something. There was a trail of blood left behind them, some dark, their own, and some lighter, another. Aeolus narrowed his eyes, could it be his blood...?
