Ekwueme was walking through the forest, his stomach growling at another failed hunt. He just couldn't seem to find hardly any prey these days, and so he had to go hungry. The moonlight was bright when it showed, but it was frequently covered up by the clouds. There was a light snowfall around him, and it was too quiet, even for a cold winter night.

It was another pretty night and Renesmee was walking by the forests edge. She liked to go on walks at night, especially when she couldn't sleep. But it was still fairly early. She sat by the edge of the forest and peered in. The forest looked mysterious, like something she wished she could explore more often. She had to be careful though, she did not want to be the cause of any forest fires. She wondered if she would encounter any other namrah on her walk tonight.

Ekwueme was nearing the edge of the forest, when he saw a faint, red light in the distance. It looked like fire. He began to slowly quicken his pace towards it, hopign the forest wasn't ablaze.

Renesmee's ears perked up as she heard someone approaching, and very quickly too. She took a few hesitant steps back and turned her ears and body facing the forest. She stood very still and waited to see what was approaching her.

Ekwueme ran towards the growing light, then cocked his head to the side. It wasn't the forest on fire, it was a namir, a female whom he had met already twice before. He slowed down and walked over to her. "Hello"

Renesmee relaxed when she saw who it was approaching her. She had met this wolf gray namir before. She smiled softly at him. "Hello again."

Ekwueme stopped when he became only a few yards away from her. His tail swished behind him as he quickly scanned for any possible fire, before returning his eyes on her. "So how are you?"

She watched his eyes scan and she thought about their other meetings. He always seemed to be watching for something. Something about his cautious nature made her want to be...careful around him. "I'm well," she answered him. "How about yourself?"

"Fair enough... Just a little hungry, but aren't we all?" He sat down and rested his feet that had been on the hunt all day. "Have you done anything recently?"

"Hungry...I suppose I am a little." If she remembered correctly, he was a hunter. There must not have been any food tonight. She felt a little bad, but there was nothing she could do. She wasn't a hunter. She could eat fruits and berries and be happy. It must be tough she thought... She sat down also, not wanting to be standing awkwardly while he was sitting. "Done...anything recently? Hmm...I wonder..." she thought for a moment about his question. "No...not particularly I suppose..." She hung her head a little. That must have seemed like a boring answer...she sighed and then asked him in return, "Have you done anything recently?" It then occurred to her that she didn't know his name. She couldn't even remember if they had introduced themselves or not...

Ekwueme thought for a moment before shaking his head. "I haven't done anything out of the normal either, I suppose. Quite a shame, I must say. The hunting hasn't been as... productive, as I might have liked, but there isn't a thing I can do to change that." He paused as he realised that the two of them hadn't ever exchanged names even after all their meetings, and he chuckled lightly. "I'm sorry, but I've forgotten to give you my name. It's Ekwueme."

She nodded her head and listened, still wishing there was something she could do to help. But there was nothing to be done about it, like he had said. She smiled as he introduced himself. "Ekwueme, it's nice to finally learn of your name." She chuckled softly as well. "I'm Renesmee."

"Renesemee? Well, it's been a pleasure meeting you." He looked down at the caribou leg he was planning on saving for later, but figured that he was being quite rude, having not offered her any. "Would you like some?" He asked as he motioned down at it.

"It's been good meeting you too, Ekwueme," she said and then looked at the caribou leg. She hadn't meant to interrupt his dinner. But it did seem very kind of him to offer to share with her. "Oh, no thank you," she replied with a smile. "I'm sorry if I have interrupted you in the middle of your dinner..."

Ekwueme shook his head politely. "It isn't my dinner, but my leftovers that I am saving for later. I have already eaten my share for the night, but if you do not want any, then okay." He looked up at the sky, a crecent moon, and wagged his tail lightly.
