She'd gotten fat! How in the hell had this happpend?! Byrony sulked a bit, her jeans didnt fit on her hips as well as they once had, she sat down, her belly round with cubs poked out against the back of her front paws, she pouted now.
When had it became her turn to carry the cubs? She sighed a bit, and then thought of her dearest Tolli and a dark grin moved over her muzzle as she licked her lips. She knew damn well how she'd gotten pregnant, that rouge Drake had helped as well, she giggled a bit before she looked at her belly.
But now she was fat. That hadnt been in the agreement...She pouted.
"Time to break the news to my dearests.." She rose to her paws and glanced once more at her belly, boy would they be surprised she thought with a grin, and started to make her way back to the den her and Tolli shared, hopefully Drake would stop by..

Tolli, meanwhile, was outside their den. The sun was glorious and she was stretched out, basking in it. Since her own belly wasn't round and full of life by now she'd figured their oh so fun plans hadn't taken and was already wondering when to try again. She had little idea her beloved was the one carrying this turn, though it was, of course, a large chance.

Females were normally known for their intuition, but Dake unfortunately shared the curse in the form of a shadow spirit which would not leave his side. The reason he feared he was being led to the cave in which he did many dirty a deeds, would not be a pleasant one.
Upon seeing Tolli basking in the sun in front of the cave lowered his guard a bit. "Is that a smile I almost see crossing your lips, Tolli?" Coming closer he bowed his head, while his halo hanging between his horns flopped from one to the other.

Byrony spied them both, she flicked her tail further now, horns gleaming in the sunlight as she watched them for a moment. Tolli her dearest love, and Drake a pet she was extremely fond of, interesting combination she thought with a smile.
And the result of said combination laid within her swollen womb, she glanced down, then back up.
She padded closer, whilist her beloved wore a very delightful pair of boots, Byrony prefered to be bare pawed, the only thing on her paws were a pair of silver rings.
"Mmm darling.." She purred out as she softly knocked her muzzle against Tolli's, she glanced over at Drake.

She raised an ear his way as his footsteps brought him into range. Raising her head she smirked. "Now why would that be an odd occurrence, my dear Drake? After all it's a lovely day..." And they had plans to make.
Again the footsteps alerted her. This time to her beloved mate's coming. This time she stood, nuzzling her lovingly with a purr as Byrony knocked her muzzle against hers. "Beloved.... my heart sings that you are back at my side..."

In all honesty it had been a little while since Drake had been around. He had taken a short trip to help someone find their brother and had no reason to suspect what was instore for him when Byrony stepped into the light and out of the cave.
His jaw imediatly hit the floor and his cigarette flopped about on the ground from the impact. "Wh-- By... How... Nice to.." His head tilted as his eyes remained on her stomach, "pregnant you---" Quickly he shook his head, "See you. How nice to see you!"

Byrony purred happily as she rubbed against Tolli, "My dearest love, my soul is at peace with you by my side, my heart swells.." She licked Tolli's muzzle, her eyes widened at Drakes next words, words that could be his last.
A growl emitted itself, so much for a plesant surprise. "Why thank you for noticing you a**.." She bared her fangs at him, shackles rose. If she didnt feel like a water buffalo as it was, he didnt help at all!
She sighed and nuzzled against Tolli some more, "Surprise, I guess." she stepped away from her mate to show her swollen belly.

Her eyes went wide at Drake's words. Ok sure, now that she inspected her beloved she could definitely tell the changes, but appearantly Drake was suicidal. The next second she was between them just in case, but was relieved when Byrony sighed and nuzzled against her.
As Byrony stepped back to show her the evidence of her pregnancy she was filled with joy. "Despite Drake blurting it out, and appearantly proving he's at least slightly suicidal, I am surprised. Very happily surprised." She purred lovingly and nuzzled her cheek to try and get her smiling. "I didn't see the signs. I was actually thinking we'd have to have another go at it." She smiled sheepishly. "Now please, don't kill Drake. He may be suicidal, but maybe he'd like to see them once they've arrived?"

Normally the words would lay a mildly heavy toll on Drake's heart spoken between the two lovers. But instead he reacted to her growling at him, as well he should.
His ear's retreated back flat against his head as it went down. Thank the Gods for Tolli! "Appologies, Mistress. You are indeed glowing however, being in your current state is quite becomming on you. Isn't that right, Tolli?" Although another go would not have been the worst thing in the world.
Words used to be the lion's strong suit but faced in such a situation he was a slight bit out of his element. He actually had to call upon reinforcements. As he was when he discovered the news of his second litter, a complete mess. At least this one was consensual..

"Fine, I'll eat your face after they're born.." She snapped at Drake, her temper had nothing to do with her sudden state, she flicked her tail behind her, giving him a look.
"Becoming my a**..I look like a water buffalo.." She now pouted, she wasnt the sort to carry cubs, this was something very much out of her realm.
Her pout was short lived as she smirked a bit, "Oh no, a second try wouldnt have been a bad thing at all.." She nipped at her mates throat before she purred at Drake.

She purred at the nips, smiling lovingly. With a snicker she nibbled at her mate's ear. "You are not as big as a water buffalo. And Drake is right. You are positively glowing." Her smile turned into a smirk and she looked to Drake. "Now if Drake is done with suicidal comments, I believe we can all do a little celebrating? After all, this is a most happy occasion."

Drake had shaken his head when she referred herself to a water buffalo. He wasn't the most shallw lion in the world but he would till jump on her right here and now. But he tore his eyes from the pregnant female as her mate adressed him.
With a c**k of his head and a quirked brow he spoke, "What kind of celebration are we taking about here?" Not too long ago he learned to agree to anything, no matter how good it sounds, until he gets the details. Not a mistae he'll be making again.
