Rio ..... If Rio fit into any category description he'd be some kind of likable, weird cross between a party surfer dude and a hippy. His passion for life gives him a seemingly limitless pit of optimism and life-wisdom, but he's something of a lazy guy who loves nothing more than taking it easy. Content to lay around on a grassy knoll baking in the sun and spending time with family or friends, or to kick it up a notch at the occasional party, Rio fits in most places. He's charismatic, a very similar personality type to Tony. It makes it hard for people to dislike him. Like Tony he has a bad habit of hiding his negative feelings from others, but the difference between them is that Rio is so much more adept at it. Years of practice have made him that way.

[•] ..... History: ..... Rio comes from your pretty average family. He was born and raised in Monclova, Mexico, to his parents Pako and Naomi Rodriguez, and he's the youngest of three children born to his parents, both full blooded siblings. There's Esmerelda (Elda), the oldest, a kind natured girl who takes after their mother for the most part. She has a talent for playing the violin. She and Rio used to argue a lot as kids and early teens, but as they each began to come into their own the arguments grew less and less and in it's place a deep bond was formed. Then there's their brother, the middle child, Aaron. Aaron cares deeply for his brother but he has a very odd way of showing it. He also is Rio's opposite in almost every way. Rio is a very laid back "Take-it-in-stride" kind of guy, and to a degree so is Aaron, but he... handles it differently. Aaron likes to drink, quite a bit, and somehow he's just shy of an alcoholic. Since he started dating Koree that's also changed. One thing that hasn't, though, is his sarcastic and often biting commentary. He and Rio have always had a friction filled relationship but it's helped to make Rio into the person that he is today.
One other major difference between the siblings is that Aaron is a self proclaimed ladies-man. He likes to wine and dine them (usually at McDonalds) and then move on to the next, but he definitely loves his girls. Rio on the other hand, believes that relationships are something that get better with time like fine wine itself. He's never been tied down for long, of course, but that's only because he hasn't found the right one yet. He generally doesn't do much dating either because he's just as comfortable getting to know a girl (or guy, yes, Rio is bisexual) as friends before deciding to ask them out or them asking him out. It's worked for him so far and if he's lonely at all, well, he's damn good at hiding it.
He has a passion for art, maybe not a visible one, but he always has a sketch book on hand. He's yet to finish any drawings to completion except for practicing with the different art medias, and most of his room is a scattered mess of sketch books and loose pages and hiding spots for his snacks and candies. Cinna-stix, pocky (introduced to him by Orion), Chupa-chups, and various other Mexican candies and chips can usually be found stashed on his person or in his room at any given time.
