Durem was a place known for its shopping, two shops that were run by interesting characters that were so very different from another, a salon where the woman who ran it could do almost anything with a person's hair, and an interesting duo who ran a tattoo parlor. All in all it drew in a lot of people, large crowds, and the way the place was set up with its many alley ways made it the perfect sort of hunting ground.

Sitting high up above everything, quietly weaving some long, red strands through his many hands was a hunter who had set up shop here. This place was perfect for his needs, so many people came through each day for their needs... not to mention how many people in this area called Gaia there were that possessed magical properties in their blood. Hooking a food under the railing he was sitting on he leaned over to look down into the darkening alley way... to dark for any normal people to see through, to check his web. It was empty at the moment but looking quite ready... his stomach gave a little grumbling sound.

The waiting was both... the best and the worst part, the excitement of seeing what foolish creature walked into his web and the possibility that nobody would come this way mingling inside him making him get a bit antsy... He blinked his many eyes before sitting straight, returning to weaving, finding himself soon enough playing cats cradle with the threads he held in his hands.

They were tough for being so thin, sticky to others aside from him since he knew how to handle them, and they gave off the faintest scent of the material that they were created from... blood. Effective in helping him to catch other predators in his webs. Always interesting catching one of those, they gave up a real fight! He gave a little grin showing off many sharp teeth as he moved through the motions of the game wondering what sort of treat would end up in his web today.

The spider gave a little twitch when something or someone stumbled across one of the trip threads, to alert him that someone was getting close to his web. He tossed aside the threads he'd been playing with, leaving them to stick to the wall nearby where he was perched on the fire escaped and he shifted how he was sitting, moving more into a position good for pouncing unsuspecting prey. There was a scent in the air that he knew... something sweet them went along a certain sort of prey that he liked best, the more... affectionate sort.

He moved slowly, quietly to the edge of the fire escape to attempt to peek around the buildings wanting to know quite badly what was coming this way. His many hands were shifting, twitching, and itching to move but he forced himself to stay calm... at least on the outside. On the inside his heart was racing with the urge to start the hunt early. He blamed it on a couple nights of not catching anything... he was to the point where hunger was starting to battle against common sense.

Not something that would making getting his hands on dinner any easier, "Just a little longer." He told himself, licking his lips.

Just short... The spider made almost pathetic grasping motions with his hands as though he were trying to will the one in the alley way to... well... throw himself into the web. He gave a little sighing sound, looked like he was going to have to do this one himself he thought as he moved off of the fire escape to move along the wall instead... all he had to do was... jump. And jump he did, landing in such a manner that his prey was caught between himself and the web.

His many arms itched to reach out and grab hold of the boy? He was pretty sure it was a boy, pretty but lacked anything in the way of a chest that would mark it as a she. He made note of the odd, extra limbs that the boy had before he started to move slowly forward, his many very much that of a hungry predator.

Six eyes watched the swishing of the long, tendril like limbs the boy possessed in a somewhat interested manner. They seemed to act somewhat separeately of the boy he realized, before he took a couple more steps forward, "Merely the one who is in charge of this alley tonight." He said, giving a grin that showed many sharp teeth.

Good, he was moving the spider thought quite pleased ever backwards in the right direction, "And you my friend have come in my alley, it means you will have to pay the fee. Don't worry though, I won't charge to much."

The boy's words caused him to give pause, not the part about how he wanted to let him go... that was a lie, he was to hungry to really care about random pleading but the part about medicine on the other hand...

"Medicine?" He murmured, consuming prey that was ill only chanced whatever they had spreading. He really didn't feel like catching something in that manner, "What sort of illness have you caught?" If it wasn't so bad then... well he wasn't about to let a little head cold stop him.

"Not contagious, eh?" He murmured, looking less worried about the fact that the boy was on medicine. He started forward once again, looking more interested at the moment. There was something about a creature trying to talk him out of wanting to catch them that made them... well more interesting to him. It made them want to capture them that much more.

The closer he got to the boy the more he started to catch the scent of something... sweet around the boy. Something that made catching him only much more tempting.

The spider watched as his prey backed into the web, watching his limbs flail only to find themselves stuck just as much as the rest. He took a few more steps forward, "There we go, nice and stuck." He said, as he reached on hand up to trail a finger down the boy's cheek, "Now, to bring you home so you can be made into a proper dinner."

He reached up and set to work undoing a couple of key threads of the web. It would cause it to fall back and turn into somewhat of a bag for carrying tasty prey back to his home up on one of the roof tops, "Now that I have you I can appease the gnawing hunger in my belly, I am glad you stumbled along into my web."

He caught hold of the edges of the web with two arms and set to climbing up the wall toward the roof.

"Soon enough, once we get to where we are going." He said, reaching the rooftop he readjusted the bag... then was suddenly moving a lot faster, jumping from roof top to roof top as he made his way to a building at the dge of town. It was a pretty, historical sort of building that had a place on the roof that was no doubt where a janitor or servant of some sort would stay.

He found it to his liking, set out of the way, was big enough that he could move around easily enough, and on to of that it was kept warm by the building below. He opened the door and tossed the bag of Adriel inside onto the makeshift bed, "Alright, dinner time." He said, giving a sharp toothed grin as he set to work opening up the bag.
