The death for the sun was the first thing to greet him as he awoken from his daytime slumber. Such a melancholy way to awake from a wonderfully peaceful sleep. Eyes still crusted with sleep blinked several times as if returning the hello and slow goodbye of the sun. He loved the feeling, but also hated it. Why did he always feel so lonely when he awoke? Shaking his head dully to rid himself of the thought the male stared out towards the sky. He would fly later, right now it seemed perfectly alright to just sit and enjoy the night.
As he sat faint hooting of his spirit owl could be heard in the distance, causing the male to crack into a smile. Nora would be waking soon, but it was still amusing to hear her 'snore'. She would most definitely be called out on it. She was so easy to pick on was very amusing when flustered.
Continuing to laze on the grass close to his precious river he dipped his paw in. The cool refreshing tingle immediately wrapping itself around him. A bath sounded good, very good. Pulling his paw out of the water the male stood.
Everything was slowly starting to darken as the water started to pick up the sparkle of the stars. He would bathe with them tonight, and hopefully his emotional funk would be gone soon after.
Making his way into the water he sighed at the tingling sensation that the water brought him. Such a wonderful feeling, if he could only share it.

 Kismet soared through the peaceful night sky. She had woken up early that while the sun was still high in the sky. She spent most of the day wondering around for she had no one to spent her time with. As she continued her flight, she spotted a river. A bath would be nice she thought to herself. She can down for a landing on the edge on the river but froze where she stood. There was someone there, someone near.

As he swam through the water Seiki noticed that there was someone close. Continuing forward in the water he scanned the edge of the river, looking for any signs of life. Maybe he could share his bath with another like he had wanted to. His scaly body shimmered softly in the dark light as he swam closer to the edge of the river, splashing his tail about in an attempt to coax the other into coming out.
"There is no need to be frightened. I do not wish to cause harm to you, I only wish fort a bit of company. Won't you join me for a refreshing dip?" With a head cocked Seiki watched the empty river, waiting and hoping that the other would come out. It had been a long time since he had been in the company of another painter.
"Please come out?"

Kimset watched the other painter carefully. She had been wanting some company but was not too sure about the male at first. He was handsome and something in his voice set her at ease. She stepped out into the shallows of the river slowly. A little shy she smiled sweetly at him.

His head cocked to the side as the female slowly slid out from her hiding place. She seemed shy to him as she offered a soft smile. This was something very new to him indeed. Looking the red starry female over he cracked into a smile. She looked a lot like him. It made him wonder if she might even be in the tribe he was born into.
Pushing himself towards her he nodded his head before sighing. He always wondered what was happening with his old family. It made his heart ache at the thought that he no longer existed in their eyes.
With a small shake of his head the male looked up at the red female and bowed his head. "Welcome." He wouldn't worry about the past any longer. It wasn't enjoyable to him.

Kimset watched the male look thoughtful for a moment but he soon turned his attention back to her so she thought it would be a good time to ask his name. "Thank you" she said "but what's your name?"

Pale blue eyes stared at her for a moment before he decided to finally whisper his name to her. "My name is Seiki, it is very nice to meet you. May I have your name as well." Mirrored scales shimming softly in the evening light as he stood his ground in waiting. Was she lonely out here by herself?
