Lore strode along the ruined city streets, her two tails swishing along behind her as she went. She fluttered her wings a bit, pondering taking flight, but then deciding against it. Lore wanted to get up close and personal with the city for once, not stare down at it from above. Who knows, maybe she'd even find somebody to talk to in this bastion of broken buildings?

Hiru moved quickly from building to building by teleporting. He had seen someone he had "unfinished business" with come here and had decided to follow him. However, he wasn't too clear if that was who he saw and the kimera seemed to have moved on. Hiru's blue-gray eyes studied the grounds of the ruined city as he stopped to take a break from the endless teleporting from building to building. Yes, no one, but himself had come to damage tbe peaceful silence in this abandoned place. The caprilape figured he should just give up; that is until he saw a certain something move on the ground. It looked like a griffin. Who he had been looking for was a griffin too. Maybe, just maybe... Hiru teleported to the ground to get a closer look, but only peered from the side of the building. He did not wish to be seen.... yet.

Lore sighed softly, looking around at the crumbled metropolis that reared up to the sky above, the bare steel girders scraping the delicate blue with rusty claws, worn sharp by age. Turquoise eyes scanned the sky, and Lore walked a little bit farther into the fallen city. She hummed a small tune to herself, trotting past a ruined car and the empty shell of a corner store.

Hiru teleported once more to get a better look at the griffin. He stayed hidden behind some rumble and peered out. Multiple tails, brown feathers... No, she wasn't the one he was looking for, but it was possible they could be related in someway. Birds traveled in flocks sometimes, did they not? If he pinned this one down, maybe the one he was after would fly back.
Hiru had decided. His body was once more moved by teleportation so that he was in front of the female. The stance he took in front of her was threatening looking, but calm at the same time. His blue-gray eyes stared directly into her turqoise ones. "Are you looking for someone?" The caprilape's voice lacked much emotion. Reading him was never easy.

Lore jumped as the gazetah appeared in front of her, startled by the sudden arrival of this one. His voice was cold as he inquired as to if she was searching for someone, and the look in his eyes made her feel like a mouse in a snake's grasp. Lore's tails curled around each side of her in a defensive position, at the ready to stab with their poisonous barbs if necessary. She didn't know what this gazetah wanted, but she sure wasn't going to take a chance...and then she noticed something. Her and him looked a lot alike, almost as if he was her gazetah brother. It was unsettling in the least, and Lore blinked a bit.
"Ah, no, just taking a walk." Lore said, her gentle voice soft.

Hiru watched her tails cautiously. He knew well enough what they were capable of and he was prepared to counter if she dared used them against him. She was acting defensive. He figured it was either because of how he appraoched(which it usually was) or she really was hiding something. The caprilape narrowed his eyes and took a few steps closer. "Hm, really... Then why walk in a place like this? A lot of unsettling characters tend to walk by here." He narrowed his eyes and sat down where he was. "Put the tails down. If you really aren't hiding anything you shouldn't look so suspicious. It's going to cause you all the more trouble."

Lore clicked her beak in response to his words, her eyes narrowing softly. Frenkhul had warned her about the kind of things you could find in the city, but she hadn't listened, and now look where it had got her. She curled her tails back a bit, to show she wasn't going to attack, but they were still within reach of the gazetah should he choose to attack. Her extra claws tapped the asphalt softly, and she braced herself just in case he might try anything.
"I haven't really managed to go to a lot of places, and I decided to take a look around here. My father warned me about this sort of thing, though."

"Hm..." Hiru approached the griffin and was no almost close enough so that if he stretched his neck out he could touch her beack with his nose. The more and more he spoke with her, the more convinced he was that this was just a foolish griffin who was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and yet, Hiru was never one to drop his guard oh so soon. "Heh. Should of listened to Daddy.... Is your Daddy a greyish griffin by any chance? Do you take after your mother? I have a message to give someone." Hiru gave no hints to whether this was a lie or not, but it was only half the truth. He was looking for a griffin, but the reason was far from a simple message mission.

Lore's farce of confidence faltered a bit. What did this one have to do with Frenkhul? She blinked a bit, confused.
"Yes...he is. And I never knew my mother, so I don't know." Lore said, choosing her words carefully. She shrugged, shifting her wings a bit into a more comfortable position.

Hiru didn't respond or move for a few moments as he thought. So she did have a griffin parent figure that fit the description. It brought suspicion all over again. However.... Was she more confused to how he knew of her father or afraid that he was onto her possible secret? Did she realize her father was possibly on the run from him and in danger? "Hm... Did he have two scars running over one of his eyes in the shape of an X too?" If she said yes to this, then he had his bait. If not, he most likely had lost his target and would have to start over again. How annoying.

Lore almost sighed in relief as she heard the another segment of the description. Frenkhul didn't have any scars, at least, none that he ever showed anybody. She felt a bit better, now that she was sure that this gazetah was looking for another griffin, but she could only stop and wonder what the reason was. Revenge, maybe? Or possibly something else?
"Nope. Frenkhul doesn't have any scars."

(( XD By the way, Hiru is not a gazetah. He's a caprilape. =3 ))
A name. Yes. That proved it. He had hit a dead end. The caprilape looked away. "Then you are not related," He said and turned away from her. "I've gone off track it seems. Forget what I said. If you see any griffins like that tell them Hiru is after them." Losing track was annoying, but Hiru did like a little challenge when it came to "hunting down his prey". He could deal with this. He glanced back at the griffin female again. "If I find out that you have lied to me, things might end badly for you. You've been warned."

((Fail. X3))
Lore tensed up when she heard Hiru's words. "So you threaten me." she replied crisply, her extra talons softly clicking against the pavement. The nerve of this caprilape, to interrogate her and then threaten her! She may be the peacemaker of the horde, but that didn't mean that she would stand for something like this! Lore's eyes narrowed to slits, and a soft bird-like hiss could just barely be heard creeping out of her throat. Her feathers were ruffled in both senses of the term, and she was ready for anything this caprilape could dish out.

Hiru stopped in his tracks. He had been ready to leave the griffin there and brush this whole event aside like it never happened. The female however, wasn't letting it go it appeared to him. "Yes. That's right. You wish to make something of it...?" He asked, his voice remaining emotionless. "If not, I'm going. If I don't catch my target soon it's going to be a pain..." He turned back around to face the griffin, in case she had plans of attacking him. "It's him I have issues with.... Not you."

"Apparently you don't know exactly what we of the horde do. If one of us is even hinted at being a target for someone, we don't let it slide that easily." Lore shifted her weight almost imperceptibly to her rear legs, ready to pounce or spring into the air. She spread her wings just a little, enough to where she could catch the wind and glide if she leaped. Her two tails edged closer into a combat position, and Lore stood her ground. Oh no, this was not going to go over that easily.
