Do you have a Band fest your school can join?
In the state of Pennsylvania, there is the PMEA band fest thing where 6th-8th grade can sign up for. Only few or chosen
I got chosen on Bass Clarinet ^^
Do you have anything like this at your school?

Hm... In NJ, we have Honor Band for the 6th graders, and 7th grade band has something like that and some 7th graders + 8th graders can try out for Region Honors.
I could probably try out on Tuba. Never Trombone, I'm not that good.

Well, In the AVUHSD (my school district), we just have the District honor band. I'm trying out on tenor sax 3nodding
