[1] You must have a tablet in order to apply. Some people are able to do amazing work with a mouse, but for the purpose of this shop, you must have one.
[2] Furthermore, you must be good at editing. Gargoyles do not have very many complicated markings, so I'm more concerned about seeing your editing skills. You'll be working on bases, and I strongly suggest that you try to make every gargoyle as unique as possible.
[3] When doing a growing Gargoyle, you must finish all the stages at once. The other stages should be posted in your photobucket folder. This way, if you leave the shop I won't be dumped with dozens of growths to finish. Growth periods are very long, so you should have plenty of time to finish them.
[4] I'm really not that hard to get along with, and I will expect you to keep in contact with me. I want to have a friendly relationship with my staff. If you ever have a problem, please come to me to talk things through. Also, you're more than welcome to hold any games/flatsales/raffles/auctions without my consent, but if you're giving away something severally complex please get my okay. smile
[5] You must be willing to do at least one breeding a month (You can do more too, of course!). For free. I can't stress this enough. You can't accept breedings as bribes. They are only available to people that earn them through RP.
[6] Please don't apply if you don't have any time to put into the shop. :C I don't want to only see my staff once every couple months. Real life always comes first, but please be somewhat dedicated!
[7] Once hired, you're able to create one gargoyle a month for yourself, or for a friend. However, you're expected to do at least one breeding, and a few others to give out in other ways. Basicly... don't work for me just to make your own characters. That's a huge pet peeve of mine.
[8] To apply, make at least two samples using the template here. Do anything you'd like, go crazy! You can also post samples from other shops you might work at. DO NOT STEAL THIS ARTWORK. Meaning, don't post it anywhere but in this thread.
[9] This thread will stay open til I've hired 2 or so artists.

Basicly, you keep every penny of what you earn. I'm not in this shop for the gold, so I will never take any from you. You get 100% of all the gold you earn. Be it from auctions, raffles, flatsales, or customs/bribes.

You're able to open up to 6 custom slots a month, and 2 bribe slots. I may allow more slots whenever the shop gets a bit bigger and you've proven yourself trustworthy when it comes to getting things done in a timely manner. If you've read everything, post ferret in white font somewhere in your post.

How many hours do you spend on Gaia?: UM... 7-9 hours on average during the week after school, and weekends I'd put a rough guess of between noon to...um, whenever I fall asleep at my desk >>;;;
Do you work at any other shops? If so, what is your job?: NOPE! Nothing, zip, zero, zilch! Unless you count school, WoW, WiiFit, and the occasional other video game. Plenty of free time <3
Are you familiar with the Gargoyles universe?: Ch-yeah. Like almost everyone else in the shop, for a period in my life I lived, breathed, sleeped Gargoyles. Three of my cats were named after character - Elisa, Bronx, and Hudson - since back then I had no idea two of the three were actual location names from NYC x'D I'm currently working to re-watch the series, so that's keeping my mind full of fun little ideas ~<3

But since you probably need more of a reason than that - I love to edit and color, but I am really only inspired by humanoid art. Doing cosplays is, to me, the best thing ever, and that's kind of difficult on animals. An added bonus though is that this shop's setting would force me to re-create the classic character's appearance (especially their attire) to fit in! This makes lil'old me happy as hell, as does the fact I finally get to play with non-human skin tones and edits 8D <3333
Plus, again.... gaaaaargooooyles~ that show was totally epic, so ch-yeah I wanna be apart of a shop based on it XD <3 Oh and FERRET just in case you were serious about that :<

How many hours do you spend on Gaia?: Lots. At the very least five hours a day.
Do you work at any other shops? If so, what is your job?: I am co-owner and colorist for Hart and Hind. Since I have a lot of work there, I'd prefer to be a part-time or guest colorist here.
Are you familiar with the Gargoyles universe?: I'll say! I've even read all of Timedancer and am working my way through the rest of the spin off "canon-in-training". I've participated in a few MGCs and have been drawing Gargoyles since 2000. I can identify an episode of Gargoyles within two scenes of "Last Time on Gargoyles..."
Why do you want to work for this shop?: Because Gargoyles is one of the few American cartoon shows out there that I love and respect. Any chance to wrap myself back up in that universe and participate creatively is something that I must be persistent about getting. Gargoyles is also one of the few fandoms that is very close to my heart, so I always put everything I have into it.<3

Are you familiar with the Gargoyles universe?: Yeah, grew up on it and still enjoy watching it when I catch it on ^_^
Why do you want to work for this shop?: This sounds odd when I say it to myself (let alone everyone else) but, I would like to work for this shop so my boyfriend and I can work on something together. He enjoys helping with concepts and I enjoy creating them. Gargoyles are something we both grew up on and I think it could make for some nice quality time together...
ferret, I'd also like to state these don't quite fit with the rules. I own a tablet but I don't use (roommate stole the cord so I can't use it either), instead I prefer my laptop mouse pad : ( Sorry <3
