Background
In a parallel world, the technological advancement of the world stopped with steamengines. Steam engines were developed continuously to the point where it could be used for just about anything.

The world is split into 4 continents, The North, South, East and West. 3 or which are in battle for supremacy over the world, but they are unaware of a greater threat. The Sixteenth Engine. The worlds most powerful steam engine, said to fit in the palm of the hand yet it had the potential to power a whole air ship by itself. In the wrong hands, it could destroy the world, in the right hands, it could better it.

Plot
From each continent comes one person. Each with a profound understanding of all mechanics, all from different backgrounds. A secret organisation watching from the shadows watches and recruits each one for one purpose...

The types of people.
Of course i'm going to be wanting 3 people. But i just want to clear up what kinds of people there are in the wasteland so you can bring in any extras whenever you feel the need.

The North - They are proud people. They value pride and honour above all else and battle is their forte.

The South - They are more or less the same as the North, except their forte is mechanics.

The East - The people from the East are peaceful people. Their technology is by far the most advanced, but they rarely ever have the need to build weapons. They are the only ones that refuse to join the war.

The West -These people do not value anything at all except victory. They don't really have a reason to fight except to win.

Anything will do. As for equipment, it's just the stuff that your character normally carries around. Something steampunkish. You can add a photo to the appearance part if you want, but a simple explanation would be prefered. Just seems a bit more original, you know?
