Did anyone feel like at the end when Rose was leaving Lissa was being a bit selfish...
I mean its always about her with Rose and she knows it and I just thought it was unfair...She needed to understand a bit...

Lissa needs to know that she is not the only person is Rose's life that Rose cares about. Lissa was being very selfish.

I can understand where Lissa was coming from everyone would do that when it comes to their best friend. But I'm very happy that Rose told her how she felt and that it doesn't always have to be about Lissa. I don't really blame her.

sometimes lissa really annoys me with that kind of stuff...

In a way I understand her. But It gives Lissa absolutely no right to be selfish like that with Rose.
All Rose's life has been protecting Lissa and being her shadow, and it was about damn time Rose let her know that. Even so it was really sad to see both of them like that. I almost cried that part.

Yeah
I thought that Lissa was being a bit selfish
But it was on a very sour note that the two best friends were seperated.
On one hand, I was cheering on Rose for expressing her feelings to Lissa, but on the other hand, I was extremely sad that the two got into a serious fight
emo
But I guess all will be all right in the end...

Yeah, Lissa was being selfish, but you have to look at the situation. I understood both sides of the fence, and they were both in the wrong with how they were acting at that moment and before then.

Don't hate me for saying this, but Rose could've and in fact should've told Lissa about her relationship with Dimitri. Your talking about the girl who brought you back from the dead rather than her parents or her brother, and you can't tell her something like that? Much more, everything that's been happening to Rose, she kept to herself rather than talking to Lissa. Yeah, sure, Lissa always had stuff happening whenever they tried to talk, but Rose should've forced her to stay and listen.

Not to mention, this story is only being told from one side of the fence, so who knows what kind of turmoil Lissa might have been going through over Rose prior to the end.Do you ever wonder if maybe she questions why Rose doesn't talk to her that much anymore? If maybe she wishes there is something she can do? I mean, she's always saying how she wish she knows what's going through Rose's head because she knows that Rose won't tell her everything. All in all, this happened because they had a lack of communication. So it's not just Lissa's fault for what happened.

I thought that it was unfair of Lissa to say that....I think Lissa should have offered to come with Rose instead of offer for Rose to stay behind (even tho Rose would have said no anyway).

Yeah, that's what I thought. I mean, Rose has always done everything for Lissa, but it's about time Lissa does more fore Rose.

I get what your trying to say. But its obvious why Rose didnt say anything. She just wouldnt understand, and because she didnt want to put her through anymore pain or stress or w/e.

WEll I also see it from both sides.
Rose's - Well lets see Dimitri was the love of her life and she lost him so cruelly and who better to kill Dimitri than Rose?
Also Rose knows that it has always been about Lissa and protecting Moroi and it has always been drummed into her head that they come first. Also it was very mean of Lissa to try and use compulsion on Rose to get her to stay. I think that Lissa could of been more understanding and accepting and alot less selfish.

Lissa- Okay now let's look at Lissa's view.
Rose is her gaurdian and supposed to keep her from safe, from others and herself (the magic) and here is her best friend and gaurdian abadoning her to put her own needs first.

sweatdrop I dunno it's hard I don't think it's really a right and wrong situtation.
