I'm saying that ey and eir is less confusing than they and their
because "they" also means several people.

Although 'ey and 'eir is plural. Notice the difference?

Basically, it's a set of pronouns created to avoid using the singular they for a third person of unknown gender. It's called the Spivak system because it was popularised by someone with the name Spivak.
