  A new male was now wondering the place that many lived. Maybe not new in the sense of age, more like in the sense of activity and presence. Which is no way good for a ROCK STAR! Rock stars have to be known, have to be admired.. What kind of rock star isn't? I'll tell you what kind. The one named Tokidoki. He has pretty much been invisible, 'til now. And that is just not acceptable. SO! LET HIM BE KNOW! Flying around in the afternoon sky. Tokidoki enjoyed the breeze in his hair, and the sun on his face. He was very free spirited, outgoing, and open-minded. Willing to do and try almost anything. And while trying to get his mind of random and unimportant things, he flies.. Flies for the sense of freedom. Ahh, what it like to be free. But there was something always missing.. Something her probably wouldn't share with many. Looking down at the many trees below him. He spotted water. He was getting rather thirsty, with much wind hitting his face. Making a decision for a little sip, he began to fly down. It was pretty clear for landing. And being the rock star he is, he made his very impressive and smooth landing. Right by the water. Walking the few steps he had to, to get his bit of water. Stretching out his wings, he looked around. There was no one here. That could be good, or bad. But he decided to stay for a while. Take a little break. So, he lie down by the water. Admiring his very charming looks.

 Serenity: An angel, she knew she'd seen an angel, it was falling, or at least she thought it was, and of course it was colored like Claude redish, though she wasn't certain exactly the color, still she knew it had to be an angel and as such her plan came into action on this beautiful day, while she was grazing in the woods near her mountain home and saw it land. She'd been plotting for ages to do this, she wasn't sure how or what she'd do when she caught it but she knew she'd catch it and then she'd have her very own angel.
Creeping low and staying down wind, ears flicked at attention as she carefully made her way through the snowy bank sneeking up as quietly as she could on her pray. Fortunately he hadn't seen her, this meant she was doing good. Proudly her chest puffed out as she made ready and then internally counted to herself...
One... two.. and wham using all of her weight she pounced at Toki knocking him to the ground. A VERY HARD TASK. But she'd caught him.. and as such she began to dance about him forgetting that one had to hold their catch lest that which they claim might get away.* I caught an ANGEL! *She said happily over and over prancing in circles.*

While admiring his very good looks in his reflection, he didn't notice what was going on around him. It's not that Tokidoki was completely coincided.. He just knew he looked good, and when there was no one else around, what better thing to do? But as he got caught up with such a silly thing, he was caught of guard! Something jumped on him! Attacked him! It wasn't often that this would happen to him.. With him not being known and all. But before he knew it, the weight that had taken him done, was oddly lifted. And all her could hear was some yelling the most ridiculous of things. Slowly getting back up, and looking back.. He saw a small little filly, prancing around in circles.
But that wasn't the weirdest of things.. She was yelling out that she had caught an angel. With those words coming out of her mouth, he could only smirk. He was far from any angel she wanted to be catching. FAR from it. And just watching her, he had to let out a chuckle. He had never been around children much before. And so far, her company, other then unexpected.. Seemed it might be kind of fun..
"Well hello there lil girlie.. And what makes you think I'm an angel?" He smirked, as he adjusted his glasses.

Serenity: *She turned to see her captive stand and brightly smiled, she wondered if they granted wishes and stuff like that, or something else? Oh well until she found out she'd at least have an angel to keep her company, and he was all hers!*
You've got wings *She said in quick response to his question but before he could argue the case she continued, explaining to him in her own way with pride how she had figured him out.* Claude's mommy said Claude was part angel because she said all things with wings were angels, but I asked Claude and he said he's only part.
*She continued to ramble excited beyond belief, as he looked at her he'd notice something about her that was far from normal, she had dual colored hues, one was golden, the other a brilliant blue like the sky.
And Claude's never flown that I've seen so I figure since you were in the sky and you have wings and are almost the same color but a bit prettier than you must be an angel! *And with that she summed it up and looked at him as proud as proud could be, yes she didn't care that he was a stranger, that he was a rocker meant absolutely nothing to her. She saw him as he was nothing more. And to her she saw an angel.*

Before he could say anything about him having wings, the little foal just went on and on and on. He couldn't even find one way to stop her.. For even a second. So, he just waited for her to stop all together. But he could barely follow with what she was saying! She was talking about this Claude, and what their mother said. Who were they? Sure not anyone he knew.. But while he was trying to make sense of what she was trying to say. He couldn't help but notice the girls eyes. They were two different colors. One, that of cold. And the other as lively as a roaring river. He had never seen that before, and found them quite impressive. His weren't even as nice as hers. They were just a bit glowy, like stars on his body. But I suppose that was almost as good.
He liked what made him an angel, the the filly. Even though he knew he was no angel. It was nice to know someone thought he was.. But it would probably be smart to help tell the difference between and angel, and what wasn't quite one.. Even if they had angel wings. But as he was about to say something about that to her.. His eyes caught hers.. And her sweet childish look just took over him.. He didn't want to crush her. What would she think of him if he told her he was no angel. Just a rock star trying to be known. Just someone who loves the ladies.. She might not believe him, and just go on about how he was.. Or she would just hope he was joking.. He would rather not risk the poor girl crying. So, he just gave in. And went with the flow.
"Well, ya can't help what ya are girlie.." He laughed. "Hey, what's your name by chance?"

Serenity: Now normally she wasn't so hyper, just when she was around others, it was like she felt the need to make up for all those times when she was alone, which was a lot, unfortunately. But if her visiting "Angel" had any sense about him he could tell that this filly was the only soquili in the area, there was no scent of any others here, though if he paid attention he might catch the very faint scent of the human to which she belonged to. What a lonely life for a soquili to be the only one.
Serenity's ears gave a flick as he'd validated her hunt of him and she practically preened at this. * I Knew it!! *She said in that childish way that bespoke innocence and trust, and also a very happy pride in what she'd believed she'd done.*
So now you're my Angel, okay. *Had she been an adult those words might have come across to her little rock star angel as something much more personal than they were, who knows perhaps in time they might, but as it where, in this time and place, it sounded as if she'd called him something of a pet of hers. The question was, would he play along?
Her expression was warm, and beautiful, and when her voice calmed it actually seemed almost soothing, she would most definitely grow into a mare worth looking at. As he watched her though she began to circle him taking his whole form in. It was actually quite amusing to look her reaction to him. She must have been told some very wonderful stories to have as active a mind as she did, and so full of belief in what most would consider impossible, like being able to catch angels.*
You're a very beautiful angel. *She said as one would praise ones pet, but it was obvious she meant it as well and then she did the most odd thing. She sat, like a dog in front of him and with that beautiful smile she looked at him.* My name is Serenity. *Something of a slightly ironic name for a child that would run about capturing angels, but on the other hand, if he looked at her long enough he might see that part of her for which she was named so accurately, perhaps in those ever so unique eyes.*

He smiled at the filly. He didn't have much experience around foals. He never had any family.. Well, of course he had family, or else he wouldn't exist. But he surely couldn't remember them. It was especially hard to remember, if you never met them. And even though the time had only passes a little.. For some reason, she sort of reminded him of how he was as a colt. Being so young, he used to go on "adventures" to find his family. He was really happy, even without anyone. Full of hope and no worries. But that slowly faded as he got older.. And he became the rock angel that he is now. He could only wish this little girl would be so fortunate to keep her serene sense of mind.
But, he didn't know how to take being someones "angel". Sure, she was just a child. But how would she take it when he had to leave? He surely couldn't stay with her forever. He had a mission, though not a very determined one.. Either way, he didn't like to stay in one place for to long. Which is why he was only around here for a rest. He didn't expect someone to come along and grab his attention like she did. But it wouldn't be so bad to stay a little bit, and play along. So, he did not object to being her "angel".
"Well thank you girlie." He wouldn't object to her compliment either..
And hearing her name. It did seem a bit ironic for someone so hyper to have the same Serenity. But life is ironic, and you can't help what you're called. But I suppose it fit her, with those wonderful eyes of hers. Surely, nothing could get past those eyes..
"Well Serenity, I be Tokidoki." He nodded, smile and all.

Serenity: *Good he understood he was hers.. and like that she leaned against him with out a thought, he was hers after all, she felt safe in knowing that all angels were good and he was hers so it was okay, and with that she gave a hug of sorts to her angel. It was sweet too, and gentle, it bespoke of the softer side of her, the side he'd yet to experience, maybe with time though, but for now she was young and filled with the energy that was common of one of her youth.*
Toki *She said shortening his name, yep she'd just officially given him a nickname.* I like that name, it's fun to say. *She said with a grin and then in a soft whisper she leaned up against him, her eyes, almost magical in nature locked with his. Such a strange experience, those eyes of youth that seemed to see into the depth of him, a skill that most certainly would come in handy with age and practice.*
Wanna see what I found today? *She said in a soft voice a gentle voice that could both captivate and calm any who listened, yes she was a unique one. One could only wonder at how she'd be when she grew, with such gifts at her beck and call would she contain them as one might their innocence or would she learn with age how to use them to her advantage? A fun, yet almost frightening thought. One didn't usually want to be on the wrong side of one who could see an individual for who they really were past the looks past the glimmer.
With earnest appeal she looked up at him, her eyes filled with excitement, while they seemed to see into the depth of him they also made for a very readable filly, very expressionate. An openness that most learned to hide with age, and as she'd never experienced a reason to hide her thoughts due to being so cut off from the world she'd yet to have developed that one skill, this could both be her downfall, or a blessing, only time would tell.*

He continued to watch the filly. As she basically gave him what might be played off as a hug, he couldn't help but smile. It was sweet. He hadn't known how nice he could be to children. Not being around them much and all. He also didn't realize how much he'd enjoy being around them. He was sure not all little fillies and colts were going to be as sweet as Serenity. But it was nice to know not all were out doing reckless things.
Nodding at her statement. He leaned a little bit closer to the filly, as she leaned towards him. As if she was going to whisper a secret in his ear. His eyes still kept contact with hers. They were hard to look away from, time to time. They just seemed to uncommon, that you didn't really wanna look away. Not only that, but the youth you could see in them were remarkable. However, he was cautious to what she said. What would she want to show him something she found. Someone who she just met.. Well.. He was her "angel". I suppose it would make sense.
"Sure! What have ya found today?" He said a bit curious.
There was surely no way this sweet, warmhearted little filly could harm him. Even thought that was how deception could start, by playing off innocence. However, with eyes like that. And the thought that Toki was an angel, and she had caught him. It be a shocker if she was some sort of crazy filly. But he was pretty sure that was all just false thought.

Serenity: *A grin stretched across that fillys beautiful face as she leaned in even closer.* It's a secret. *Then in a smooth motion filled with the energy of youth she stood up and moved away, it looked like she was about to leave him when she tossed her head over her shoulder and gave him a dazzling smile* Well??! *She said, in a voice that bespoke of excitement being put on hold.* Come on.. It's this way.
*Her tail gave a flick as she turned then and with out thought to him, assuming he would follow her with out any question, he was hers after all, she made her way into a thicket of woods. Where oh where would she be leading him too? With a happy giggle she spoke over her shoulder at him.* I found it today. *She said filling him in a bit on the mystery.* Aside from you it's the most amazing thing I've ever seen. *She continued as she walked leading him through a small off beaten path that one could easily see a child using their imagination to turn these woods into something of a jungle. The Oaks, pines and bush of the woods were thick, leaves covered the ground but as they walked he'd catch an all too familiar scent. The scent of water. It was far off into the distance.
Finally they came to a big bolder of white coloring, one didn't have to strain their ears to hear the water moving, and as she lead him around the bolder, off to the right he'd see the creek, it was moving fast down hill, and halted only by a beaver made damn.* It's a bit rocky here, so be careful *She said over her shoulders to him, not wanting her beautiful angel to be hurt, he was after all new to these mountains.* Mr Beaver showed me this place earlier today, I'm gonna make it my fort. *She said to him as finally came to a stop. The sound of water roared now and it was so thick in the air that one could feel it on their flanks. She waited anxiously for him to catch up and smiled ever so brightly as she looked at him, waiting for his response to her surprise.
For there before them was one of those beautiful things crafted by the father spirit on mother earth's own body. A water fall.*

A secret? He watched as she walked away. What could it be? He followed her a little before she told him to. Then she began to follow her completely. She seemed rather excited, so it had to be something good. He listened to the filly without any question or a sound. Just listening to her stories. She must've has quite the day to have found.. Whatever she found. It was way in the trees. He hadn't even been this deep the forest. He didn't like to be to surrounded by trees.. He felt a bit claustrophobic, with him having is wings and such. Watching where he was going, he kept his wings close to his body, as to not get caught in anything.
But it seemed as they went dipper, a familiar scent filled the air.. The scent of water. It was a strong scent too.. It must've been a big body of water. Looking around all he could see was trees, no water in sight. Hmm, odd. But they must've been close to whatever she wanted to show him. The scent of water grew stronger, and stronger... And there it was. The roaring sound of water stood before them.. It was a waterfall. Very beautiful, he hadn't seen one of these in a while. It was wonderful.
"Wow.. You found this all on your own?" He smiled.

Serenity: *She nodded ever so excitedly, she about bounced with delight at his expression too, when she saw it. She'd done good, she'd done real good, and she beamed with pleasure as a result. She so loved to make others smile, something about it warmed her inside.* Uh huh.
*Came her response to his inquiry as she bobbled her head and grinned from ear to ear. With a flick of her tail she turned then and ran into the water. Hooves of a unique shade of white splashed in the silky sand beneath the water.* This is my secret Kay? *She said turning back to him, two toned tail giving a happy little flick as those eyes of hers once more locked with his, she waited for his response, only just now realizing he might tell others of this beautiful place.*
(( it's all good, length =/= quality. I take quality any day. ^^ just realize if it's short my responses tend to be as well ^^;; not on purpose mind you it's just something that seems to happen. ))

Keeping his eyes on the waterfall It was definitely a sight to see. Very secluded, almost like it was in some other world. Funny how someone named Serenity would find a place like this. He surely wouldn't have been able to find it. He surely spent more time in the sky then roaming the lands. Not only that, but he tried to avoid tight knit places.. Like the path leading to this waterfall. Even so, he wouldn't have declined the foals invitation. It wasn't like him.. Unless he had some sort of weird feeling about it. In this case, there surely wasn't one.
Watching Serenity sudden run to the water. She splashed about quite happily, no worries at all. Only if he could go back to those times. When he worries about nothing, making everything an adventure. He was now just a stallion making his way through life. Wondering where fate would take him now. Wondering, what will happen next.. But he surely wouldn't keep his mind in thought to much. He was with the company of a very free-spirited filly. Maybe she would be able to help him loosen up a bit.. Not that he wasn't around others.. Actually he quite was. Maybe it was just the fact the it was a foal.. Hmm, she did somewhat make him give off a more father like attitude around her.
"Of course, your secret." He walked a bit closer to the water, and gave her a wink. Only to say her secret was safe with him.

Serenity: *She had been an orphan from birth, taken in by Tewa, as far as she knew she didn't have a father, and she was blissfully unaware of the tragic happenings that had conspired to take her parents away from her. So lacking in soquli family she didn't really understand what a father or mother really was, no one had ever brought the topic up with her aside to ask where they were. Once when she'd inquired about it she'd been told a mother was someone who takes care of you, the only one she knew who had fit that bill was Tewa. So when she looked at her angel it wasn't with the expression of a child looking up to an elder but rather as one who felt she was equal to all including her angel, though if asked she'd say her angel was hers so that kind of put her above him.
When he winked at her she smiled and with a stomp of her hove in the water and a flick of that two toned tail she most definitely splashed her angel making sure he too had gotten at least a bit wet. Giggling in delight at this she cornered about and ran a bit deeper into the water tossing her head over her shoulder to look at him.*
Come play silly! *She said happily to him expecting him to do just that.
Since he'd been splashed, he'd have noticed something else rather unique about this water, instead of being cold it was warm. Somewhere above the cliff to this fall was a hot spring, and it was the sorce of this waters heat, and perhaps the main reason the water in this area hadn't frozen over in the winter. She really had found a wonderful oasis from the winters cold.*

Tokidoki, of course, was no stranger to orphans. He was one himself, raised by his generous human Jaci.. He was quite bright in his younger days. Exploring just as Serenity did. Hoping to find the best treasure of all, his family. But as he grew older, he knew the only family he'd ever have was Jaci.. And, of course, the other Soq she brought up. His family still haunted his thoughts, however. Even if he wanted to erase them forever, he just couldn't. His mind wouldn't let him, and decided to taunt him with it instead. It was cruel, but he'd learn to live with it. He had to.
He'd hop such a thing wouldn't happen to such a bright filly. He wouldn't dare ask her about her parents, you never know what could've happened. It could bring up horrible memories, which would only make him feel guilty. Plus, he didn't want to make her cry. He wouldn't know how to handle that. Crying.. But as long as he didn't bring it up, it would be okay. He had to act like an angel. Angels don't make their captures cry! They just have fun.. Right? It sounds about right. His thoughts were interrupted with the sound of Serenity's voice. Not even the water she splashed on him prior disturbed his thoughts. But her voice sure did.
Looking at her, he gave her a smile. He may not be a child anymore, but that didn't mean he couldn't act like one around other children. He made his way to the water. Slowly stepping into it, letting the warm water take over him. When he got close enough to the filly he gave off a little smirk. Suddenly, he began to splash the girl with his wings. But of course, not to roughly. He didn't know how tough she was, so it was only a light splash. Playing around, he could only let out a laugh. It was fun playing around.
