I've been wondering for a while now.... Since I wasn't around when the Aquarium first came and all. You know when your fish drops dead, and they turn into these 'Drops' item... (e.g.: Goldfish drop).
What are they for?
EDIT: Things I've discovered from opening some. People, come tell me what you got so we can help others decide whether it is more profitable to open or sell!
Goldfish Drops:
Gold Pocket Watch
Gold Tiara
Gold Heart Hairpin
Arrowfish Drops:
Green Baseball Undershirt
Silly Green Hat
Cuttlefish Drops:
Gray Tabi
Gray Foam Hand
Celtic Piano - No more
Dark Piano - No more
Cuttlephones
SnowCrystal thingies
Silver Snowflake Scarf

Nothing, really. You can put them on your avvie or sell them for 2 gold. Or have the take up space in your inventory.

Really? The goldfish drops were selling at 370-ish gold, and more expensive fish sold for more gold. o_O Weird.

You can get items or a small amount of gold from them.
If you click on one of them it will ask if you want to use this item. When you "use" it your essentially cashing in.
I got some green sandals from one and a pair of pants from the other when my arrowfish died. Total sell back value of the items was about 1100 gold.

AH! So you lied! Do you guys think it's more profitable to sell it or use it? Perhaps... I will try 'n do some research on everything you can get from those things. Perhaps. Someday.

I just use the drops, since I'm totally impatient and un-businesslike..like that.
And following that 'like', I have no choice but to say this. I suddenly feel like it, sorry:

....I must agree with Wicked and Altra....I just have to know whats inside....
But I did go through a phase of buying fish drops opening them and then selling the contents.... there is a small profit to be made... but I found this process a bit tedious....

From gold fish drops so far I hae gotten gold pocket watches and gold tiaras. From the arrow fish drop i have i got a silly green hat. I don't remember what it is cuttlefish drops.
